About the Job
As the Associate, Insurance Operations, you will be the frontline driver of our telesales operations for the Insurance business, converting and retaining leads through proactive outreach. Alongside this core focus, you will provide ad-hoc operational support to our Singapore Insurance Telesales and Operations team, giving you exposure to a broader regional view of how our insurance business runs day to day.
The Associate, Insurance Operations will be responsible for:
Telesales Operations
- Process and follow up on business leads from various sources for the Insurance team, with a primary focus on car insurance renewals
- Manage and drive insurance renewal processes to meet service level agreements (SLAs), with emphasis on renewal retrieval and follow-ups
- Proactively contact customers via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other instant messaging platforms to maximize conversion and retention
- Manage manually retrieved renewal cases and follow up to secure renewals ahead of expiry
- Monitor and respond to customer enquiries across calls, WhatsApp, and email, escalating where necessary
- Extract and manage leads from internal systems to support renewal and promotional campaigns
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions and outcomes in internal systems
- Conduct daily compliance screenings to ensure regulatory adherence
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly telesales performance reports for internal stakeholders
- Maintain proper filing and organization of documents and correspondence
Insurance Operations Support (Ad hoc, Singapore)
- Support the Singapore Insurance Operations team with day-to-day operational tasks as needed, helping ensure smooth service delivery to clients
- Assist with administrative processes and documentation tied to operational policies and workflows
- Help identify and flag operational gaps, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks for the SG team's review
- Support ad-hoc data pulls, reporting, or coordination tasks across the Insurance Operations function
- Liaise with SG-based stakeholders to ensure alignment on shared processes and priorities
In this role, we are looking for someone with:
- 1–2 years of experience in telesales, customer service, or administrative support (insurance industry experience a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to manage high volumes of data and calls daily
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High sense of urgency and ability to stay composed under pressure
- Comfortable working across markets and coordinating with overseas (SG) stakeholders
- Team player, proactive, and detail-oriented
Good to have:
- Prior experience in telesales or insurance operations
- Familiarity with CRM or lead management systems
- Exposure to insurance products or regulatory compliance requirements
