They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. In cybersecurity incident management at PwC, you will focus on effectively responding to, and mitigating, cyber threats, maintaining the security of client systems and data. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and resolving security incidents to minimise potential damage and protect against future attacks.

The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Cyber Threat Detection team you are expected to understand networking principles, apply incident response frameworks, and handle vulnerability management. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain top standards. You are expected to act as a shift leader, monitor and respond to alert queues, and lead investigations into security issues.

What You Must Have

Bachelor's Degree- 4 to 8 years of experience

Oral and written proficiency in English required

GSEC, SEC+, Network+, Incident Handler (GCIH), Intrusion Analyst (GIAC) preferred

Understanding Networking and applying Network Principles

Applying Incident Response Frameworks and Handling Procedures

Applying vulnerability management and penetration testing

Understanding information security, compliance, assurance

Leading daily huddles, shift handovers

Acting as a shift leader, monitoring and responding to alert queues
