Responsibilities:   

Daily Tasks

• Review and compile payment requests received via Higher Ed/invoices:
• Ensure each request includes the corresponding invoice.
• Verify that invoice amounts match the Payment Request Template.
• Confirm correct expense category assignment.
• Check that each request includes the appropriate Trip ID.
• Process manual bank payments (typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; 2–3 times per week as needed).
• Send payment confirmation emails on payment days.
• Provide remittance details when requested.
• Send ISA priorities approval emails:
• Friday for Monday processing
• Tuesday for Wednesday processing
• Wednesday for Thursday processing

Weekly Tasks

• Process SG&A & COS check requests submitted via Higher Ed/invoices, including category assignment and submission via NetSuite.
• Send COS Totals reports from CP when requested.
• Create new vendor requests whenever a new vendor is needed, to ensure invoices can be uploaded to NetSuite by month-end.

 Monthly Tasks

• Monitor and control payments to ISA subsidiaries, ensuring invoices are not duplicated and match the intercompany balance
• Upload invoice payments made during the month (twice a month).
• Upload JE for ISA intercompany transfers.

Other tasks:

• Accurately reviews, processes and keys (or uploads) a large volume of invoices for multiple locations, to ensure timely and accurate This includes but is not limited to performing two-way match to purchase orders, processing non-po invoices and ensuring proper business unit and GL account coding, and/or appropriate approval has been obtained. 
• Process multi-currency Accounts Payable transactions for the Company’s International entities
• Process employee T&E reimbursement requests
• Complies with accounting and department policies, adapting to changes directed by AP Management, including system, policy and procedures. 
• Fields incoming questions and issues and ensures timely response and resolution. 
• Team player, work in a team environment helping as a backup to the other AP Associates when assistance is needed in the day-to-day department functions 
• Develops and maintains relations with internal and external parties by providing excellent customer service. 
• Performs vendor statement reconciliations.
• Supports month end processes.
• Create and maintain vendor profiles and may be involved in annual 1099/1042 process 
• Special projects and other duties may be assigned
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries
• Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments 
• Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports for advances, preparing checks
• Verify credit card charges/ accounts by reconciling monthly statements. 
• Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures 
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities 

 Qualifications:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of progressive A/P experience in an automated environment is preferred.
• Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. 
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite required (Excel and Word), Epicor or NetSuite AP system experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of finance, accountingand financial controls required.

Job Description
WorldStrides is seeking a Director, Strategic Finance & Capital Markets to lead enterprise-wide cash flow forecasting, capital structure modeling, and liquidity risk management. This role will serve as the company’s center of excellence for cash, debt, and covenant analytics, supporting executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and external financing partners with high-quality models, insights, and materials.

This position plays a critical role in enabling disciplined growth, strengthening balance sheet visibility, and ensuring proactive management of liquidity and covenant considerations in a highly seasonal, working-capital-intensive business.

Job Responsibilities

Enterprise Cash Flow & Capital Structure Leadership

• Own and continuously enhance the company’s integrated three-statement, cash flow, and liquidity models, with increasing account-level detail and forecasting precision
• Model seasonal cash dynamics, including deposits, deferred revenue, working capital, and capital expenditures
• Develop and own detailed multi-tranche debt schedules (e.g., revolvers, term loans) and interest modeling
• Build pro forma capital structures to evaluate refinancings, growth initiatives, and strategic investments
• Own a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast to support near-term liquidity planning

Liquidity, Covenants & Risk Management

• Own a comprehensive covenant compliance and sensitivity model, including EBITDA definitions, add-backs, and downside scenarios
• Proactively identify and communicate liquidity and covenant risks, including clear scenario narratives and mitigation considerations
• Support lender reporting, data requests, and financing-related analyses, including amendment and refinancing support

Executive, Board & External Materials

• Prepare Board-level financial models, analyses, and presentations related to liquidity, capital structure, and strategic finance topics
• Produce lender-facing materials with a high standard of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism
• Support interactions with Investors and Lenders

Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

• Partner closely with FP&A and business leaders to translate volume, pricing, staffing, and cost drivers into cash flow and EBITDA implications
• Connect operational and strategic plans to long-term liquidity, covenant, and capital allocation forecasts
• Improve analytical rigor in cash flow and debt modeling
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on liquidity risk, capital allocation trade-offs and downside scenarios by driving clear recommendations supported by clear analysis

M&A and Investment Analysis

• Build and evaluate acquisition, divestiture, and build-versus-buy models
• Assess purchase price, financing mix, synergies, operating leverage, payback, and value creation
• Integrate approved transactions into enterprise cash flow and debt models

Minimum qualifications

• 4 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, leveraged finance, or corporate development, including early career experience in private equity, or investment banking
• Advanced expertise in three-statement financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and debt/capital structure modeling and experience with modern FP&A, BI, or ERP tools
• Experience proactively driving Board-level and Lender-facing financial analysis and presentations
• Strong ability to synthesize complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high accountability environment with tight timelines and evolving priorities
• Strong cross-functional partnering skills to drive informed decision-making across the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
