Regulations across our markets are evolving fast - from food safety rules to language requirements, vehicle registrations, contract model changes and more. Every new requirement impacts courier supply: conversion rates, time-to-convert, churn, and forecasting becomes harder.
As our Supply Risks & Compliance Senior Specialist, you will connect the dots between regulatory changes and our courier supply reality. You’ll partner closely with the teams implementing new compliance requirements, assess risk early, translate impact into clear assumptions, and help our Supply teams prepare for what’s coming. Your work will keep our growth predictable, our teams aligned, and our supply resilient.
What you’ll be doing
Monitor compliance and regulatory changes across North region markets and assess their impact on courier supply, including acquisition, conversion and activation.
Quantify supply risks: conversion shifts, time-to-convert, CAC implications, pool health, churn patterns, and forecasting uncertainty.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Finance), as well as external partners such as temporary agencies in Sweden, to ensure supply considerations shape implementation plans.
Facilitate timely escalations to markets and senior stakeholders, with clear risk framing and recommended actions.
Build assumptions for impact on KPIs, budgets, workload, and acquisition plans; align with Supply teams on timelines and mitigation strategies.
Prepare structured briefs and playbooks that translate regulatory changes into clear operational steps for Supply.
Track the execution of compliance-driven changes and evaluate their real-world impact on supply predictability and performance.
Our humble expectations
Must-haves
3-5 years of experience in Operations, Growth, or Supply roles where change or regulatory shifts influenced performance.
Strong analytical skills - able to interpret performance metrics, quantify impact, and support short- to mid-term forecasting.
Experience building simple operational models or forecasting frameworks that translate regulatory or funnel changes into expected business outcomes.
Ability to connect technical/legal changes to operational consequences for funnel health, churn, or forecasting accuracy.
Confident communicator who can align stakeholders across functions (Legal, Compliance, Ops, Marketing).
Experience preparing structured recommendations, risk assessments, or impact briefs for senior stakeholders.
Comfortable working with ambiguity: can bring structure to unclear tasks, work with incomplete information, and adapt as requirements evolve.
Familiar with modern tools, including the practical use of AI or GPT-based assistants to improve speed, structuring, or analysis.
Fluent in English (written and spoken), and full professional proficiency in Swedish.
Ability to work from our Stockholm office three days a week with two optional home office days.
Nice to have
Exposure to multi-country operations or markets with frequent regulatory change.
Familiarity with courier onboarding or supply acquisition funnels.
Experience working with dashboards or data tools (Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, SQL basics).
Background collaborating with Legal, Compliance, or Policy teams.

If this sounds like the right challenge, we’d love to meet you. Apply now, and please submit your application and resume in English! The process includes conversations with the talent acquisition partner, hiring managers and a practical assignment focused on structuring risk and impact, and a final cross-functional discussion.

At Wolt, we’re building the most efficient, reliable, and scalable delivery experience across our markets. Courier supply is one of the core marketplace levers—if it works, everything works; if it doesn’t, service degrades, costs spike, and growth slows.
As Head of Courier Supply for the South Region, you will own courier supply end-to-end in Greece. You will report into the South Head of Operations. This role combines strategy, execution, and team leadership, with a strong focus on building scalable, increasingly automated systems that move us from reactive operations to predictive, AI-driven decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
This role is about turning demand into reliable, cost-efficient delivery capacity at scale. You will own forecasting, acquisition, incentives, and real-time supply-demand balancing across multiple markets, while building systems that scale without linear headcount growth.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Own courier supply KPIs across your cities, including availability, utilization, cost efficiency, and service reliability
Lead and develop a team of ~5 people, driving performance and building a high-performing organization
Define and execute supply strategies across different time horizons (hourly, daily, seasonal)
Drive forecasting, incentive design, and supply planning using increasingly AI-driven tools and models
Optimize incentive structures (who, where, when, how much) to ensure efficient growth and controlled costs
Identify and implement scalable solutions to improve courier acquisition, retention, and engagement
Partner with Product, Analytics, Finance, and Global Ops to improve tooling, automation, and decision-making frameworks
Work closely with local teams and external partners (fleet partners, courier partners, authorities) to ensure strong market execution
Detect operational anomalies early and act quickly to prevent service degradation
Our humble expectations
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or leadership roles in fast-paced environments, with 3+ years in leadership roles (owning teams, not just projects)
Strong marketplace understanding (supply–demand mechanics) and operational rigor across multiple time horizons
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid financial acumen (forecasting, ROI, cost control)
Experience leading projects and driving execution in complex, cross-functional environments
Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Fluency in both English and Greek is a requirement
You're able to work from our Athens office four times a week with one optional work from home day
Nice to have:
Experience in marketplaces, on-demand platforms, or e-commerce
Exposure to AI/ML applications in operations or decision-making
What we offer
Ownership of one of the most critical levers of the business on one of Wolt’s biggest markets (Greece)
A role with high autonomy and direct impact on growth, cost, and service quality
The opportunity to define how AI is embedded into core operational decision-making (forecasting, incentives, automation)
Exposure to multiple functions, creating strong career growth opportunities
A fast-paced, execution-driven environment where results are visible and measurable
Competitive compensation package
Next steps
After applying, the process typically includes an initial screening, followed by interviews focused on your operational thinking, leadership, and problem-solving approach. You can expect a case exercise related to marketplace dynamics and supply optimization, along with discussions with regional and global stakeholders, including the South Head of Operations.
If you are excited about working in a high-growth environment, taking ownership, and being part of an extremely ambitious team, then click below to apply and get the conversation going. Please submit both your resume and cover letter in English!
