Our mission
Since 2014, our Sendwave app has allowed Africans in the US, the UK, and Canada to send money instantly to mobile money wallets in Kenya, Uganda, & Tanzania, saving our users over 70% relative to Western Union and MoneyGram.
In 2016, we expanded our scope and began building Wave, a mobile money product for domestic markets in Africa.
The problem: Nearly 60% of adults in sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason — the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and most merchants only accept cash. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
How we're solving it: We're building financial services to work as they should: no account fees, instantly available and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always function, we're creating financial infrastructure that "just works." At the end of 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments; in 2019, wwe launched in Cote d'Ivoire. How you'll help us achieve it
We're hiring a creative, resourceful BTL officer with experience coordinating large-scale below-the-line marketing strategies. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day operations of our BTL marketing activities and mobile money branding, and maintain desirable user growth and agent activation rates.
In this role you’ll;
- Manage day-to-day logistics for marketing operations, including roadshows, stands, and events in the assigned region.
- Prepare supporting materials, event promotional merchandise, and other BTL activities.
- Recommend sources (new channels, partnerships, networking alliances, and influencers) to grow our user base.
- Help to create and develop new BTL activations.
- Improve our POS's visual standards in line with the company's brand guidelines.
- Track the progress and quality of our agent network visibility and branding by collaborating with our branding partners, field sales, and agent network management team.
- Receive stock of marketing supplies and materials from our vendors and suppliers, dispatch them appropriately, and track inventory of all stock to avoid stock-outs.

- Location: You'll be based in Bamako, with frequent travel or temporary relocation to field locations within Mali.

- 2+ years of relevant work experience at a marketing agency, telecom, or payment service, provider, FMCG, or financial institution.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience, specifically managing field or user acquisition teams
- Based in the field.
- 2+ years' experience designing strategies for user acquisition for a telecom, payment services, service provider, FMCG, or financial institution.
- 2+ years' experience managing large teams (50+ people).

As a Premium Cash Officer within our premium agency, your primary responsibility would be overseeing the agency's operations.
In this role, you’ll;
- Manage cash in and out between the Safe and PCA accounts.
- Hold end-of-day bill counting and produce a daily bill counting statement.
- Ensure that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system.
- Promptly request sufficient funds to ensure rebalance with agents/clients.
- Ensure transactions with cash-in-transit companies (Cash in/Cash out).
- Report discrepancies or challenges encountered by Premium Cash Assistants.
- Report fake bills to management.
- Ensure that furniture and materials are in good use and that the office is well secured.
- Manage and, if needed, escalate relevant feedback to management that may impact the agency's activity.

How you'll help us achieve it
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing who is both strategic and execution-oriented, capable of building and leading a high-performing marketing function while driving sustainable growth as we scale in Mali.
In this role, you'll;
- Own the local marketing strategy, aligned with business growth targets, market expansion priorities, and brand ambition.
- Serve as the strategic marketing partner to the General Manager and functional leads (Operations, Sales, Support, Product…).
- Lead marketing planning, including budget, resource allocation, and ROI accountability.

How you'll help us achieve it
As Risk and Compliance Lead, you’ll play a key role in maintaining operational integrity in a growing and dynamic environment. You will lead our field audit efforts in Mali while supporting internal control, compliance, and, on occasion, fraud operations.
You’ll be the go-to person on the ground to coordinate local execution of our global risk and compliance standards.
In this role, you'll;
Field Audit & Controls
- Supervise and coordinate field audit activities (agent audits, spot checks, reconciliations).
- Work with the field audit and agent ops teams to escalate and address deficiencies identified during audits.
- Monitor implementation of control measures and escalate any breaches or gaps.
- Support the rollout of internal control frameworks across business functions.
Risk & Compliance Support
- Assist with identifying and evaluating operational risks in coordination with functional teams.

How you'll help us achieve it
As a financial controller, you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining an efficient financial and accounting framework as we expand our operations in Mali.
You will contribute significantly to building robust and scalable financial systems that support the sustainable growth of our business in Mali.

- Oversee company accounting and ensure entries are recorded accurately.
