Job Description

Vise is looking for a curious, driven, and tech-savvy Technology Operations Lead to join our growing team. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role that blends IT support, cybersecurity awareness, facilities coordination, and project planning — all with a forward-looking focus on artificial intelligence and emerging technology.

What you bring on day one:

• 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role such as IT Support Specialist, cybersecurity, SOC Analyst, Systems Administrator, or similar
• Foundational knowledge of networking, hardware, and operating systems
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
• Experience with or strong interest in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, automation platforms)
• Exposure to project coordination or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Asana)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

What you will own:

• IT & Technical Support
• Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• Maintain and troubleshoot workstations, peripherals, and office technology systems
• Manage user accounts, access controls, and software licensing
• Cybersecurity
• Assist in monitoring systems for potential security threats or vulnerabilities
• Support compliance efforts and help enforce security policies and best practices
• Participate in security awareness initiatives across the organization
• Facilities & Technology Infrastructure
• Support office builds, moves, or expansions from a technology perspective
• Manage hardware inventory and asset lifecycle
• Maintain hardware infrastructure in meeting rooms and office
• AI & Emerging Technology 
• Stay current on AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging tech trends
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-powered solutions into daily workflows
• Assist in evaluating, piloting, and rolling out new technology tools across the organization
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to promote a tech-forward culture
• Project Planning & Coordination
• Support technology projects from planning through completion, including timelines, task tracking, and stakeholder communication
• Document processes, configurations, and project outcomes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and external vendors

About Vise Accelerate: Vise Accelerate is a small, talent-dense, high-velocity unit working on opportunistic AI applications across Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Support, and Finance. In the Accelerate Program, you will build tools and workflow for the internal Vise team and externally with Vise’s key customers. Your projects will leverage Vise’s existing distribution into sophisticated RIAs and access to deep end-user portfolio context to deliver high-leverage AI projects.

The Fellowship: The Accelerate Fellowship is a 3-month program designed to attract and train top builders by having them work on real, high-leverage Vise problems. Fellows will be a part of Vise Accelerate, working in small, high-output squads of 2–3 people to transform out-of-the-box AI models into measurable productivity gains and differentiated enterprise-grade features. The Fellowship is a paid position for Summer 2026, based in Vise’s headquarters in New York. 

Vise will provide housing as needed for intense collaboration and speed. The highest performing Fellows will be converted into full-time hires. 

What We’re Looking For: Engineers and builders who thrive in talent-dense teams and possess high agency. Ideal candidates should be:

1. User Obsessed: Able to understand complex financial workflows quickly and deeply. 
2. End-to-End Minded: Possess strong product instincts, able to build from scratch and iterate fast to deliver first value within 6-10 weeks. 
3. Technically Robust: Full-stack competency with practical experience in LLM/NLP concepts and applications. 
4. Develop AI-assisted workflows: for operational work, such as automated reconciliation explanations and client-ready summaries.
5. We will accept candidates with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds
