THE ROLE
Our ETF Traders are responsible for the design, operation, and improvement of high‐performance algorithmic trading strategies deployed on both electronic trading venues and RFQ trading platforms around the world. Our ETF traders also build and manage relationships with issuers and other trading partners. This team works closely with software engineers to enhance and further develop the firm’s trading strategies. We are looking to significantly expand our market presence in China, Korea and Taiwan.

THE ROLE
Our trading platform runs on high performance servers distributed across datacenters and offices throughout the world. These servers are highly automated and finely tuned to meet the growing demands of our business. Our Systems Engineers are responsible for designing, building, and supporting these servers, working with engineers across our global groups to ensure that our trading platform remains the best in the business.

THE ROLE
Our Trading Operations Analysts are responsible for managing the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions on behalf of trade desks across the firm. Trading Operations Analysts work closely with traders, finance, compliance, brokers and custodians, and firm customers to ensure timely settlement of trades, accuracy of books and records, and avoidance of unanticipated risk to both the firm and its customers.
This team also has the opportunity to work closely with software engineers to further automate and enhance robustness of the firm’s operations workflows and to enable trading and customer offerings in new markets and asset classes. Trading Operations Analysts not only become experts in the logistics and mechanics of trade clearance and settlement, but they also play a crucial role in the ability of the firm to conduct trading efficiently and safely, perform challenging and stimulating data analysis, and participate in the architecture of new systems and controls. This is a great role for a candidate looking to start a career in the financial industry, or for a candidate already in the early stages of a career in this space who is looking for a more challenging role with greater responsibility.

Virtu’s Core Operations Engineers form a small, fast-paced global team dedicated to managing the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of a sophisticated electronic trading system operating on hundreds of venues around the world. They are positioned at the very forefront of our technology’s interaction with the financial markets, requiring them to work well under high-stress situations and have an ability to react decisively and quickly in time-sensitive situations. This team is the first point of contact for all our external trading connections and, as such, they perform a dynamic mix of functions. This includes everything from counterparty support to risk management and system triage/optimization.
Our Core Operations Engineers operate at a high-level in a Linux environment to solve complex technical problems and work with traders and exchanges to understand micro-market structure. Primary Responsibilities
Ondesk Support
· Setup, configure, and maintain the Windows Desktop Environment and end-user support, including but not limited to hardware and software management, security patches and health check monitoring in line with Global desktop standards, policies and procedures
· Build rapport with help desk customers and provide first line local and second line regional desktop/office technical support including incident/problem identification, resolution and escalation.
· Configure and support general office facilities issues
· Install and maintain desktops, user account administration; responsible for introducing adapting and improving IT systems in own area of responsibility
Local Data Center
· Responsible for both the local office & Singapore Data Centre management including, organising deliveries, patching cables, installing servers and inventory management in line with global standards, policies and procedures.
IT Infrastructure
· Maintain inventory of all hardware and software.
Knowledge and Skills
Required
· 3-5 years relevant experience
· Customer focused attitude and dedicated to problem resolution
· Must be able to handle multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
· Working experience with Windows 7 and 10 and Microsoft Office
· Must be able to work under pressure with long working hours under critical situations.
· Excellent organization, inventory and desk management skills
· Clear and detail-oriented communicator and team player.
· Outgoing, comfortable with speaking and writing English is a must.
