Purpose of the Position:
The Corporate Alliance Recruiter collaborates closely with Account Managers to ensure successful placement of eligible graduates in roles within our Corporate Alliance employers. Their primary focus is on fostering strong partnerships and facilitating graduate employment opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

1. Eligibility Assessment and Outreach: Proactively reach out to the assigned graduate population to assess their eligibility for placement in available roles through our corporate partnerships.
2. Accurate Documentation Management: Maintain precise documentation related to the graduate population. Regularly update student profiles to ensure consistent job matching with relevant opportunities.
3. Support Team Coordination: Collaborate with appropriate support roles to coordinate web application and onboarding requests. Ensure that graduates complete all necessary pre-employment steps to start their jobs successfully.
4. Sourcing Candidates and Conducting Interviews: Source candidates from existing student and graduate population. Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings. Conduct interviews to assess candidate suitability. Evaluate skills, experience, cultural fit, and alignment with the company’s values.
5. Managing Candidate Communication: Organize communications with candidates throughout the hiring process. Schedule interviews, provide feedback, and keep candidates informed about their application status.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose of the Position:
The Career Associate is responsible for Career Services functions and duties as they relate to providing UMA graduates employment opportunities and ensuring graduate success by connecting graduates with allied healthcare employers. The Career Associate focuses on managing the graduate-facing process of Career Services in a call center environment through outbound phone activity; including graduate engagement, graduate career readiness, and partnering with the business development and Corporate Alliance teams for placement opportunities.

The Career Associate reports to the Director or Senior Director, Career Services.

Key Responsibilities:
Graduate Coaching:

• Influences and empowers students and graduates to find employment in their field of study and begin their healthcare careers.
• Manages a population of graduates and assist them in job placement in the Allied Healthcare field.
• Works with students and graduates to give them guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, resume best practices and more.
• Develops and implements plans to achieve student and graduate employment goals.
• Matches graduates to employer positions and maintain ongoing relationships with companies to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Prepares for and facilitates graduate interviews with employers, including those with our national Corporate Alliance partnerships
• Maintains timely, compliant and accurate documentation and metric requirements on all activity related to UMA graduates, employers, job orders and interview results up to and including placement of graduates.
• Consistently meets or exceeds department metrics and quotas including talk time, interviews, hires and monthly goal of placed graduates.

Employer Outreach:

• Contacts hiring managers to create new job opportunities, interviews, hires, and placements.
• Develops and grows new and existing relationships within the healthcare industry to proactively discover future job opportunities for our graduates.
• Locates, engages and attracts prospective healthcare companies to form partnerships to secure employment opportunities in assigned marketplace with the goal of building and maintaining long-term relationships that yield placements for UMA graduates and future relationship building.
• Sources employment opportunities through our proprietary lead management tool with over a million leads, cold calling, email, fax and social media contact with decision makers and hiring managers.
• Influences lead outcomes and communicates with hiring managers using a consultative graduate-focused approach to understand their hiring needs.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to company, government, and accreditor standards.

Compliance:

• Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

The Business Development Advisor is a key member of the Career Services team, focused on driving positive career outcomes for graduates while supporting the institution’s strategic goals. This role is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with employers, community organizations, and industry leaders to expand career opportunities for UMA graduates. Through strategic outreach, partnership development, and close collaboration with internal teams, the advisor ensures alignment between employer needs and student capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

1. Territory Management and Employer Relationship Development: Oversee an assigned geographic area with autonomy. Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with employers in the allied healthcare sector. Use market insights and CRM data to identify high-potential employer partnerships and create meaningful employment opportunities for graduates.
2. Prospective Employer Outreach: Proactively engage potential employer partners through cold calling and effectively utilize the internal lead management system to expand the employer network. Engage in meaningful dialogue with to understand their evolving workforce needs, challenges, and hiring priorities.
3. Strategic Employment Planning: Develop and grow new and existing relationships within the healthcare industry to proactively identify future job opportunities for graduates. Partner with Career Services Advisors to match graduates with suitable employment opportunities and support their career development.
4. Graduate Placement & Employer Engagement: Align graduates with well-qualified allied healthcare job opportunities and maintain relationships with employer partners to ensure actionable pre- and post-interview feedback is captured to best assist graduates with getting hired. Identify trends in employer feedback to improve placement success rates.
5. Documentation and Metrics Achievement: Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of graduate interactions, employer engagements, job orders, interview outcomes, and successful placements. Consistently meet or exceed departmental performance metrics, including call volume, interviews, hires, and monthly placement goals. Maintain detailed notes in the CRM system of record.
