Lead end-to-end APAC (India and Singapore) and EMEA (UK, Spain, France, and Italy) payrolls.
Act as the primary SME for APAC payroll, advising stakeholders on regulatory requirements, tax implications, and best practices.
Handle escalated employee payroll and tax inquiries in both APAC and EMEA with expert-level support.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and for audit readiness.
Own payroll reconciliations and month-over-month variance analysis; lead monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reporting across all active payroll countries.
Ensure compliance with all Indian statutory requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Income Tax/TDS, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, and other applicable regulations.
Manage external payroll vendors against SLAs, holding partners accountable for accuracy and continuous improvement.
Partner cross-functionally with HR and Finance across the employee lifecycle to ensure accuracy in new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and variable compensation payments.
Collaborate with Accounting to reconcile payroll liabilities, resolve GL variances, and support accurate month-end and year-end close.
Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits, leading documentation preparation, issue resolution, and remediation.
Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks across all active payroll countries.
5+ years processing payroll in a complex or multinational environment, with deep expertise in India payroll regulations, TDS filings, statutory compliance, and year-end processes.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex reconciliations, pivot tables, and large dataset analysis.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit practices, and payroll risk management.
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence HR, Finance, and external partners.
Strong written and verbal communication; fluency in English required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with Workday payroll and HRIS integrations preferred.

Software Engineer III (Java + JavaScript + SQL)
TraceLink is seeking an experienced full time Software Engineer III to join our team to work on our Analytics products. If you’ve got a solid grasp of SQL, Java and Javascript and familiarity of cloud environments like AWS. The Software Engineer III - will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of cutting edge cloud based Analytics applications, running in our sophisticated, Kubernetes (AWS EKS) hosted, RxJava/Vert.x cloud platform, the Digital Network Platform (OPUS). All of this within the Life Sciences / Pharma supply chain domain.
Responsibilities:
Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.
Develop Analytics solutions that will help clients optimize their supply chain operations and adhere to compliance regulations.
Work closely with Domain experts, Data scientists, Architects, Product managers and Product Engineers to design and implement Analytics products.
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for writing clean, high performance and scalable code across different frameworks and languages.
Work in fast paced Agile teams and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Work with QA teams to align on test planning and help in test executions.
Candidates must possess the following skills and traits:
4 to 6 years of experience with at least 1 year hands on experience with writing SQL queries.
Expertise in Java & Javascript & SQL.
Familiarity with AWS Cloud Data storage and processing services - S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, RDS, Elastic Search, Kafka/Kinesis, SQS, SNS etc.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and containerization (Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging
Exposure to Javascript, GraphQL, Vert.x, Rx/Java would be preferred.
Analytical thinking and collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
Experience working in an Agile environment with teams distributed across US and India

Position Overview
The Supply Chain Orchestration Knowledge Expert is a domain and subject matter expert responsible for developing, structuring, and maintaining the messaging and positioning and subsequent knowledge artifacts that power TraceLink’s Agentic Orchestration Solutions (AOS) go-to-market execution, field team enablement campaigns, and AI-driven experiences for both the customer personas and TraceLink field teams.
Each Supply Chain Orchestration Knowledge Expert serves as the global owner of a supply chain orchestration domain—such as Manufacturing, Commerce, Logistics, or Transportation—and builds the messaging and positioning frameworks, insights, and artifacts that support executive-level conversations across all relevant customer segments.

Responsibilities
Supply Chain Orchestration Domain Expertise
Serve as TraceLink’s subject-matter expert for a specific supply chain orchestration supporting Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Content, Sales Enablement, and Sales
Build a deep understanding of end-to-end processes, personas, pain points, business value, and the life sciences and healthcare supply chains ecosystem.
Participate in select cross-functional teams and executive engagements as required.
Strategic Narratives, Messaging, and Positioning
Develop strategic narratives, messaging, and positioning of TraceLink products and solutions targeting executive personas - specifically the CIO.
Create and maintain competitive differentiation and positioning against alternative solutions.
Continuously monitor the effectiveness of messaging through routine engagement with field teams, customers, and prospects.
AI and LLM Buying Experiences
Build and maintain an LLM-ready messaging framework with modular, metadata-tagged positioning and value narratives.
Ensure taxonomy alignment and version control so messaging remains consistent, current, and easily ingested by the LLM.
Curate and govern the product and industry knowledge corpus to deliver accurate, compliant, and authoritative model outputs.
Design executive-ready LLM experiences using prompt patterns, scenarios, and value-story templates for internal enablement and external buyer interactions.

Skills and Qualifications
3 - 5 years in a product management, product marketing, solution consulting, or analyst roles with a specific focus on life sciences manufacturing, logistics, and/or adjacent roles.
Exceptional writing and presentation skills, especially for senior executive audiences.
Ability to create clear, structured narratives from ambiguous or highly technical information.
Experience producing content such as briefs, whitepapers, frameworks, or strategic analyses.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, software engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
5-8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a test automation engineering role involving programmatic interaction with a system under test.
Experience utilizing Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Eclipse, Ant or Maven, Unix, and an automated unit test framework, such as TestNG.
Experience developing against web services and Web-based APIs.
Experience developing and executing formal test plans, data sets, and test configurations for assigned feature areas.
Familiarity with the concepts involved in running cloud-based applications on platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
Experience with the pharmaceutical industry.
Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI systems.
Exposure to testing LLM-based applications, including prompt validation and response evaluation.
Familiarity with multi-agent LLM workflows and coordination patterns (e.g., agent orchestration, tool usage, chaining).
Experience designing test scenarios for AI systems, including edge cases, hallucination detection, and output consistency checks.
Knowledge of evaluation metrics for LLM outputs (e.g., accuracy, relevance, latency, and robustness).
Exposure to automation frameworks or tools for validating AI/ML model behavior.

We are looking for an early-career Agentic AI Engineer to help build and evolve AI-powered systems that automate and improve supply chain workflows. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and data scientists to develop agentic AI / GenAI features, integrate knowledge-based retrieval (RAG) patterns, and contribute to testing and validation approaches for AI systems that can behave in non-deterministic ways.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who is eager to grow in both software engineering and applied GenAI, and wants to work on real-world enterprise problems in supply chain and (optionally) life sciences.
Support the design and implementation of agentic AI / GenAI systems that assist in automating supply chain workflows.
Build and maintain backend services and integrations using Python and/or Java.
Contribute to multi-agent workflows, such as tool execution, routing, agent collaboration patterns, and task orchestration.
Assist in creating testing and validation strategies for AI systems, including evaluation datasets, regression testing, and behavior monitoring.
Help implement and improve knowledge base systems, including RAG pipelines, grounding strategies, and retrieval quality improvements.
Contribute to experimentation with:
lightweight fine-tuning approaches for small language models (SLMs)
reinforcement-learning-inspired improvement loops for NLP/GenAI tasks (where applicable)
Partner with product and domain teams to understand supply chain needs and translate them into working software.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and operational support to ensure high-quality production systems.
Master’s/Bachelors degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
0–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or ML engineering (internships and co-ops count) OR equivalent experience
Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java, including writing production-quality code.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (academic, personal, or internship experience is acceptable).
Interest or exposure to Generative AI concepts, such as LLMs, agent workflows, tool calling, or multi-step reasoning.
Understanding of core engineering fundamentals:
APIs and services
basic distributed systems concepts
debugging and performance basics
data structures & algorithms
Ability to learn quickly, take feedback well, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Coursework, projects, or hands-on experience with agentic or multi-step AI systems, including non-deterministic behavior patterns.
Exposure to designing knowledge base solutions, such as:
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
embedding-based search
hybrid search approaches
reranking or relevance evaluation
Experience or academic background in one of the following:
fine-tuning small language models (SLMs)
training or adapting NLP models
Reinforcement learning concepts applied to language systems
Exposure to event-driven or reactive systems
Interest in supply chain domains (logistics, manufacturing, procurement, etc.).
Knowledge of the life sciences supply chain is a plus, but not required.
You can take a defined task (e.g., building a new RAG retriever, improving evaluation coverage, or implementing a new agent tool) and deliver a working solution with support from senior engineers.
You write clean, testable code and steadily improve your ability to debug real-world production issues.
You contribute to AI system reliability through experiments, evaluation improvements, and thoughtful engineering.
