As the Data Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our Development team and advancing our mission to end the abuse of animals raised for food. You will ensure the timely processing of gifts, accurate data updates, and the overall integrity of our donor data. Your work will be essential to ensure that our data is reliable, well maintained, and able to support strong donor relationships and drive meaningful impact. You will be responsible for processing and importing third-party gifts, maintaining high standards of data quality through ongoing database hygiene and oversight, and supporting consistent data practices across systems. You will contribute to managing and updating process documentation, and providing operational support to the team. Your work provides the foundation for effective donor stewardship, accurate reporting, and data informed decision making across the team.
You are a great candidate for this role if you are a detail oriented and process driven thinker, with strong attention for technical accuracy, organization, and data management. This is a part-time (28 hours/week), remote position reporting to the Development Operations Manager. This position has optional domestic and/or international travel, equivalent to 1 or more trips per year.

Gift Processing (60%)
Serve as the primary owner of third-party gift imports, ensuring all contributions are accurately recorded in EveryAction (THL’s donor database) in a timely manner.
Manage gift imports and data hygiene files specific to our caging company.
Process and record additional third-party gift types like EFTs and stock gifts, with support from the Development Coordinator,
Data Hygiene (30%)
Perform weekly duplicate record review and merging, following established guidelines to maintain a clean and reliable database.
Manage monthly cleanup of primary contact designations and business/individual record structures to ensure proper classification and maintain data integrity.
Conduct routine data updates, including record corrections, suppressions, and standardization efforts in alignment with data governance and compliance requirements..
Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date donor records, including contact information, recognition preferences, and communication preferences.
Identify and flag systemic data issues and recommend improvements to processes, data structures, and workflows to strengthen overall data quality.
Administrative Support (10%)
Maintain and update standard operating procedures to reflect current workflows and ensure clarity and consistency across the Development Operations team.. Help ensure documentation and data practices are organized, accessible, and aligned with team standards.
Assist in preparing, cleaning, and formatting data for reporting, list generation, and internal requests.
Support the Development Operations team with any data related tasks and process improvements as needed.
In addition to the above essential job duties, other duties may be assigned as business needs arise. These may include non-essential, marginal job duties.
Technology: Comfortable using software tools for data tracking, reporting, and collaborative project management. Experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel, with the ability to create and manage highly detailed spreadsheets and datasets using basic formulas. Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly and independently.
Development Data Experience: Direct experience supporting fundraising or development operations through the management of donor data in a CRM system. Proven ability to process gifts, maintain data accuracy, and execute routine data hygiene tasks in a high accuracy, process driven environment. Nonprofit experience is preferred.
Donor Gift Processing and Financial Acumen: Experience supporting fundraising or development operations, including working with donor data and gift processing in a CRM system or similar. Demonstrated understanding of soft crediting, attribution, and donor recognition, with the ability to apply these accurately in practice. Comfortable supporting routine financial and gift related processes, and supporting budget preparation and monitoring by gathering data and preparing basic reports.
Organization: Highly detail oriented and takes initiative to identify and resolve inconsistencies and inaccuracies. Demonstrated ability to balance multiple simultaneous and complex projects, tasks, and deadlines with strong planning and organization skills. Ability to quickly learn and effectively navigate internal systems and processes.
Verbal and Written Communication: Able to engage with staff, donors, and external partners in a thoughtful and approachable manner. Communicates information clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills: Actively participates in team projects, activities, and discussions, demonstrating a willingness to learn from and support colleagues. Able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to a supportive and positive work environment.
Initiative, Proactivity, and Adaptability: Demonstrates a proactive approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on new tasks as needed. Open to learning and applying new tools, processes, and workflows.
Problem Solving and Decision Making: Able to identify issues, follow established processes to resolve them, and consult other staff members to escalate when appropriate. Assists in the documentation and execution of data crisis protocols as directed. Exercises sound judgment in decision making, safeguards confidential information, and handles sensitive information with a high level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand how organizational goals, policies, and procedures align with broader strategic objectives through day-to-day responsibilities of this role. Provide foundational support for strategy development processes and contribute to the initial stages of strategy implementation, with attention to potential friction points or changes.

Compensation and Benefits -
Salary range: $34,137–$41,723 for candidates in the USA

As the Associate VP of People, you play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective systems, policies, and procedures across your functions, to strengthen operational resilience across the organization. As Digital Advertising Lead, you will lead the execution and optimization of THL's digital advertising program during a parental leave coverage period. Your responsibilities include implementing and optimizing ad campaigns across multiple objectives and platforms, managing day-to-day ad performance, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-impact digital advertising.
You bring hands-on experience in digital ad creation and management, along with practical data analysis, attention to detail, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. This position reports directly to the Associate Vice President of Digital Engagement.
Please note that this role involves working with content that depicts cruel practices, in service of exposing and ending animal abuse.
This is a temporary, full-time remote position for approximately 7 months, and may be extended or shortened at THL's discretion. Because THL is a global organization, you may be required to work occasional hours outside of 9am - 5pm, depending on your time zone.

Digital Ad Campaign Execution
Execute campaigns and use iterative optimization tactics to maximize the efficacy of ad sets across:
Supporter Acquisition: Drive qualified online supporter acquisition through targeted ad campaigns
Supporter Engagement: Maintain pressure on corporate targets by driving supporters to action at key campaign moments
Supporter Retention: Execute retargeting campaigns to maintain supporter connections
Fundraising: Implement evergreen and quarterly fundraising campaigns for donor acquisition, retention, and monthly giving, in collaboration with the Development team
Corporate Engagement: Execute corporate campaign ads and targeted outreach initiatives
Public Policy: Support time-sensitive legislative action campaigns
Other initiatives: Support ad campaigns for merch promotion, organizing recruitment, event promotion, and other organizational priorities as needed
Content Coordination
Select compelling visuals and write persuasive ad copy for campaigns
Coordinate with THL's Video and Design teams to produce ad assets as needed
Partner with THL's Content team to support landing page optimization for ad-driven conversions
Provide input on ad creative and help guide development of visual assets
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor daily performance and spending of ads (Monday - Friday), ensuring campaigns stay within budget
Track KPIs and campaign performance across all active ad sets
Compile monthly performance reports with key insights and recommendations
Identify trends and suggest optimization opportunities based on performance data
Budget Management
Manage day-to-day allocation of advertising budgets across campaigns
Ensure efficient spending aligned with campaign objectives and organizational priorities
Collaboration & Optimization
Work with the AVP of Digital Engagement, Digital Engagement Team, and other stakeholders to align ad campaigns with organizational communication needs
Conduct ongoing A/B testing and optimization to improve campaign performance
Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners to support campaign success

Experience: Experience running and optimizing digital ads on platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), and Google. Ability to produce impactful, attention-grabbing ad creative and execute digital advertising campaigns effectively. Must be able to complete Meta advertiser verification to run ads targeting U.S. audiences.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with Meta Ads Manager and other digital advertising platforms. Comfortable learning new tools and technologies as needed.
Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams, actively supports team goals, contributes valuable ideas, and adapts to changing team dynamics.
Problem Solving: Independently resolves routine problems and troubleshoots campaign performance issues using past experiences and available resources. Comfortable proposing improvements and addressing challenges.

This is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Associate Vice President of Corporate Engagement. Oversee THL’s corporate campaigns & strategy-setting
Develop, manage, assess, and communicate THL’s Corporate Campaigns plans and strategies in support of the Corporate Engagement team’s objectives.
Observe other organizations within and outside animal protection to identify emerging approaches and incorporate relevant best practices to THL’s strategy.

Manage the Campaigns team

Support Campaigns Managers in effectively managing their direct reports, coaching them to solve challenges, and helping them instill a drive for excellence and accountability.
Regularly review and approve campaign plans, communications, and tactical strategies to ensure alignment with overarching program goals and tactics implemented by the campaigners in their campaigns.
Lead strategic planning sessions and cross-team ideation, while encouraging a focus on measurement, evaluation, and learning.
Ensure campaigners have proper training, resources, support, and tools to effectively campaign against food companies and secure animal welfare victories.

Act as an influential leader in the animal protection movement

Experience: Proven experience in corporate campaigning, corporate engagement, or corporate negotiations with a successful track record securing policy commitments or institutional change. As the Global Digital Mobilization Lead, you will help to mobilize online activists around the world to help win global campaigns for animals. You will be instrumental in bringing our global mobilization strategy to life as you oversee and manage a variety of complementary digital mobilization tools. Global Campaign Coordination: Maintain strong coordination with the Programs team to align digital mobilization needs with high-priority global campaigns, ensuring digital supporter actions are strategically planned, timed, accurate, and effective.
Member Group Empowerment: Produce and distribute digital action-driving assets that enable OWA member groups to engage their own lists directly in campaigns, enabling them to drive online actions in ways that build independent power and loyalty to their respective organizations.

Learning & Development Strategy
In partnership with the People Leadership Team, develop and implement a learning and development strategy that is aligned with the organization’s needs and objectives, addresses skill gaps, considers different learning styles and fosters a culture of continuous learning.
Conduct regular training needs assessments in collaboration with the Directors of People. Build, launch and manage a global and U.S. training calendar, ensuring consistent delivery of manager, leadership, and staff development programming.
Coordinate with external vendors and training providers to source, evaluate, and manage training programs and resources.
Consider implementing a Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring its effective use for course enrollment, tracking, reporting, and maintenance of training records.
Performance Management Process (PMP)
Design, implement, and manage the organization wide performance management system, including annual reviews, goal setting, mid-year check-ins, and ongoing feedback mechanisms.
Coach and train managers on effective global performance feedback and documentation best practices to ensure fair and consistent application of policies, whilst complying with local labor laws.

Establish metrics and evaluation methods, including manager effectiveness, employee feedback, training engagement, and performance adoption/utilization to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain organizational communications and resources on learning and development, leveraging platforms such as THL Home (our intranet), Slack, Google Drive, and newsletters to ensure employees are well-informed about training and development events and opportunities.

Experience: Proven manager level experience of developing and implementing global learning & development strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance, including ownership of performance management systems and leadership development programs preferred.
Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills: Proficient interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across globally distributed teams and cultures, resolve conflicts, and navigate complex stakeholder relationships. Fosters a collaborative environment and actively contributes to a positive and cohesive team culture.
Technology and Data Analysis: Experience using HR and training software (HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.) including implementation, optimization and ownership. Drive transformational philanthropic investment to end factory farming worldwide. As Director of Global Philanthropy, you will play a pivotal role in driving THL’s global revenue growth, building deep and lasting donor relationships, and leading the strategy for a high-performing major gifts program currently raising $6M+ annually.
We are seeking an experienced major gifts leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, and who is motivated by the opportunity to connect significant philanthropic investment to measurable global impact. You will be both a thought partner to senior leadership and a frontline fundraiser, personally cultivating and soliciting high-value donors.
This is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Associate Vice President of Donor Relations. Domestic and international travel (approx. 3+ trips/year) is required, and occasional meetings with international donors may fall outside a typical 9–5 schedule, depending on your time zone.

Major Gifts Leadership & Strategy
Own the strategy and performance of a $6M+ major gifts program, with responsibility for growth, retention, and donor engagement.
Set strategy for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors giving $10,000–$1,000,000+, connecting donor priorities to THL’s programs to maximize global impact
Manage and mentor a team of 3 Philanthropy Officers, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability and continuous learning.
Partner with program staff to create donor engagement plans, impact reports, proposal materials, and stewardship pathways.
High-Value Donor & Portfolio Management
Manage a personal portfolio of high-value major donors and prospects, developed in partnership with Development Leadership.
Partner with the CEO and senior leadership on high-stakes donor meetings, advising leadership on donor dynamics, philanthropic trends, and strategic opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional funders.
Data Strategy & Cross Collaboration
Partner with Development Operations and IT to optimize the use of THL’s CRM (EveryAction) to manage portfolios, track performance, and advance donors through the pipeline.
Collaborate with IT to develop dashboards and KPIs that inform forecasting and long-term revenue planning.
Partner with Finance, Operations, and Legal to ensure compliance and ethical fundraising practices, and steward donor trust.
Collaborate with Programs staff to identify funding needs and develop strategies that secure long-term support for THL’s priorities and maximize impact.
Support fundraising events, donor briefings, donor travel, and cultivation opportunities, representing THL at key conferences and events.

9+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including 5+ years of major gifts experience.
Experience within a major gifts program raising at least $5M annually.
Demonstrated success managing a personal portfolio generating $1M+ in annually from individual donors with proven ability to cultivate and steward major donors and philanthropic partners with professionalism, discretion, and authenticity.
3+ years of direct staff management, with a track record of developing high-performance teams.
Adept at long-term planning, analyzing fundraising data, spotting trends, and setting benchmarks for success with experience using CRMs (EveryAction or similar).
Exceptional verbal and written communication, able to craft compelling donor narratives and engage audiences including Effective Altruists.
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Comfort operating in global philanthropic contexts and aligning fundraising strategies with THL’s international programs and priorities.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $119,630–$138,737 annually.
