Summary

We are seeking a sharp, execution-oriented Senior Finance Analyst in San Francisco, CA to own close, reporting, and modeling for our corporate finance function. This early role on the corporate finance team will play a pivotal role in building the FP&A foundation that supports a high-growth, consumption-based company.

This role will own the month-end close process, produce monthly and quarterly board reporting, run BvA and flux analysis for executive reviews, and play a key role in supporting our consolidated 3 statement modeling.

What You’ll Do

Own the Monthly Close and Reporting Cadence

Background & Experience

We are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Cloud Enablement team, part of Temporal’s Cloud Global Services (CGS) organization.

The Cloud Enablement team is responsible for applying and extending the Temporal OSS replication stack to deliver critical Temporal Cloud capabilities, including High Availability (HA) namespaces, error detection and automated failover, and migration of workloads and namespaces between self-hosted Temporal clusters and Temporal Cloud, as well as within Temporal Cloud.

Summary

We have an opening to hire a Staff Software Engineer - AI SDK. 

Temporal provides durable execution, the systems foundation used for reliable AI at leaders such as OpenAI, Lovable, Replit, and many others. As a member of the AI SDK team, you will be creating building blocks to support the expanding ecosystem of AI applications.

Under the hood, non-trivial AI applications quickly become distributed systems. Fault tolerance and other challenges quickly become evident in tasks requiring reasoning, tool calls, memory management, human-in-the loop interactivity, and ambient or background processing. Temporal removes the complexity otherwise inherent in such applications, allowing simple code that works as intended every time.

The AI SDK team is pushing to keep Temporal at the forefront of AI applications. Because the landscape is constantly changing, we engage heavily in prototyping to ensure that the abstractions we develop meet the needs of emerging applications. We're hiring a Staff Product Manager to own the developer lifecycle: the tools and experiences developers use to adopt Temporal, verify their code, and ship with confidence. You'll own the CLI, testing framework, deploy safety tooling, local development environment, and getting-started experience.

This is a high-ambiguity role. You'll define Temporal's testing strategy (do we own test servers or move to testcontainers?), deploy safety approach (replay-based, static analysis, or linting - and where does it run?), and the developer tooling vision that ties it all together. Several of these are open product questions with no obvious answer.

What you'll do

• Define and drive the strategy for developer tooling across Temporal's platform - not just ship features, but make opinionated bets on how developers should test, debug, and deploy durable applications

Jessica (portfolio lead) provides portfolio direction. You frame problems and generate strategy for your area - deciding what expands, what stays maintenance-mode, and how primitives connect into a coherent platform story.

We are seeking a highly analytical, execution-oriented Senior Finance Manager to own revenue forecasting and financial modeling for a consumption-based, high-growth business. This role is critical to how we understand, predict, and scale revenue in a usage-driven model where accuracy, iteration speed, and judgment under uncertainty matter.

This role will work in close, ongoing partnership with a dedicated Data Scientist focused on consumption forecasting, combining financial judgment and GTM context with statistical modeling, usage data, and predictive analytics. Together, you will build, test, and evolve the company’s core consumption and revenue forecasting frameworks.

The person in this seat must be deeply hands-on in Excel / Google Sheets, capable of building and rebuilding complex forecasting models, and comfortable iterating daily as new data, usage patterns, and GTM motions evolve.

• Partner with customers, Growth AEs and Solution Architects to unlock new workloads
• Translate production success into clear technical narratives for renewal and growth
• Advocate for customer needs and real-world patterns internally

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years of professional software engineering or solutions engineering experience
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering principles
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience building, deploying, and operating production systems at scale
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex technical issues and guide customers through resolution
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Experience creating technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements and team events

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms
• Experience with observability tools and practices for distributed systems
• Background in professional services, technical consulting, or solutions engineering roles
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Contributions to open source projects or developer communities
• Experience designing and delivering technical training or workshops

Compensation

• The estimated pay range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000 OTE.
• This is a base-salary, variable role with a 70/30 split.
• Equity Options - Eligible for stock options as part of Temporal's equity plan
