Taxbit is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to help launch our new Singapore office. This opportunity reflects Taxbit’s continued global expansion, with this role being a pivotal piece of growing our customer base and network in the APAC region. We are looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to assist our clients that utilize Taxbit’s various SaaS offerings to ensure that we provide them with the most accurate and correct information in a timely manner! 

Customer Experience Specialists are expected to represent Taxbit in a professional and friendly manner. You should be comfortable working directly with Taxbit’s enterprise clients within a reasonable time frame. You will strive to become a subject matter expert on Taxbit’s product and have a passion for learning about crypto, tax and accounting.  Our team requires the highest level of teamwork and trust to achieve our organizational goals.

This role is based in Singapore. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Singapore without company-sponsored visa support (e.g., holders of a valid Employment Pass or Permanent Resident status). This role also requires business level fluency in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience, with a focus on Taxbit’s Enterprise SaaS offerings
• Act as the initial point of communication for our Enterprise customers via our ticketing system. Familiarity with Hubspot is a plus.
• Actively update, maintain and monitor customer queries in a timely and accurate way
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues on our Crypto Tax and Accounting platforms, identifying causes and providing workarounds or collaborating with Engineering when necessary
• Identifying customer needs and helping customers use specific features
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and SMEs to resolve complex customer issues and leverage internal tools such as Linear and Retool to track and manage tickets
• Participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call incident response to address customer-impacting issues
• Identify gaps or opportunities in existing processes and independently develop solutions to improve team efficiency and customer outcomes
• Create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation to enable scalable knowledge sharing

Professional Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Customer Support or a related field preferred
• Proficient written communication and writing skills
• Excellent cross-team collaboration skills
• Ability to troubleshoot customer-reported issues and identify underlying causes to support effective resolution
• Proficiency in data formats and technologies such as CSV, XML, JSON, HTML, APIs, and other relevant programming or markup languages preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and pivot to different types of projects
• Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Comfortable using Excel to organize, analyze, and interpret data
• Bonus: Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency data, or a willingness to learn

Taxbit is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager to help launch our new Singapore office. This opportunity reflects Taxbit’s continued global expansion, with this role being a pivotal piece of growing our customer base and network in the APAC region. This position will report to the Head of Strategic Accounts, and tasked to drive post-sale expansion revenue across our most strategic and complex customers. This role is central to Taxbit’s growth, as tax information reporting requirements continuously expand across new jurisdictions, products, and regulatory use cases. The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of enterprise sales expertise, a strong customer partnership mindset, and deep curiosity to understand complex, global, multi-product organizations in order to uncover expansion opportunities.

This role requires professional fluency in both English and Mandarin. This role is open only to candidates who currently reside in Singapore and are legally authorized to work there (e.g., holders of a valid Employment Pass or Permanent Resident status). The position requires on-site availability and alignment with local business operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Drive expansion revenue across assigned enterprise accounts by identifying and closing cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth account research to identify customer growth initiatives that trigger new tax information reporting requirements, and convert those insights into expansion opportunities
• Use a blend of customer data, platform usage, regulatory changes, and product releases to build multi-year account expansion strategies 
• Execute complex enterprise sales cycles with disciplined account planning, executive alignment, and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement
• Lead executive-level customer alignment meetings and long-term roadmap planning sessions along with the product team
• Operate with tight coordination across New Logo Sales (clean handoffs, account strategy alignment), Customer Success (adoption health, renewals, expansion readiness), and Technical SMEs (product feasibility, integrations, regulatory implementation to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Deliver clear, organized, and outcome-driven executive communications internally and externally
• Develop deep understanding of Taxbit’s products and global tax information reporting requirements that influence customer purchase decisions

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven success owning and closing complex revenue deals with enterprise customers
• Strong background in fintech, crypto, payments, marketplaces, or regulated SaaS, or equivalent experience selling into highly regulated financial environments
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate regulatory complexity into revenue strategy
• Outstanding customer communication and executive presence
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence deeply cross-functional teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and rapidly evolving market
• Willingness to travel as needed

The Role

As a SME Tax Manager, you’ll be a member of Taxbit’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) team. This role is open only to candidates who currently reside in Singapore and are legally authorized to work in Singapore (e.g., holders of a valid Employment Pass or Permanent Resident status). The position requires on-site availability and alignment with local business operations. 

Your role will include: 

• Working closely with Customer Operations to support execution of our tax enterprise CRS/FATCA/CARF solutions
• Delivering amazing experiences to Taxbit partners and customers 
• Supporting critical client projects in automation and process improvement by leveraging Taxbit’s software solutions 
• Defining business needs related to digital asset trading and transaction data across equities, commodities, fiat, cryptocurrency, etc.
• Tracking client projects, assessing client data, and mapping solution architecture

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can work with complex transactional data, manage projects from beginning to end, quickly learn new objectives, and problem-solve. Most importantly, you possess a do-whatever-it-takes mentality to ensure our clients have the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with our sales and business development team to execute the go to market expansion strategy, developing enablement materials and providing the necessary tax subject matter expertise training for new regulations
• Engage directly with prospects, with particular focus on accelerating or expanding the largest and/or most strategic deals for Taxbit qualifications
• Knowledge of regulations and processes used to satisfy IRS tax information reporting and AEOI due diligence and reporting
• Partner with Customer Operations to drive engagements with enterprise and public sector customers
• Leverage subject matter expertise in complex digital assets tax and accounting topics to better support Taxbit customers
• Drive analysis on complex data sets received from clients
• Develop and socialize expertise of client data; learn how it can be consumed and integrated into Taxbit’s systems
• Work with Taxbit Engineering and Product teams to ensure accuracy of data integration and completeness of client data
• Evaluate the current needs within partner processes and work cross-functionally to determine how to best meet customer needs
• Develop a deep understanding of our customers and their business, processes, and products through proactive communication and in depth discovery

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 5-8 years of income tax experience working in public accounting or industry
• Degree in accounting 
• CPA certification
• Exceptional organizational and management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects  and disparate information
• Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and thoroughness in approach
• Team player who is eager to roll up their sleeves and contribute from day 1; brings a great attitude, work-ethic, and eagerness to learn and develop
• Experience working with data and various data analysis tools in order to organize and normalize data for solution development; proficiency with Excel is a must and working knowledge of SQL, VBA, and business intelligence tools like Alteryx is a plus

• Strong desire to keep up with emerging issues, news, and best practices within the industry
• Aptitude to learn new industry skill sets; primarily digital assets, accounting, and finance
