Your role

We are seeking a Flutter Engineer to join our development team. In this role as a Flutter Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and developing features that will impact our valuable customers.

Leveraging your expertise in creating scalable Flutter applications, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our applications to deliver unparalleled experiences exclusive to Tamara customers.

With a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work alongside a diverse ecosystem of talented engineers, designers, analysts, product experts, and other team members to leverage system design, create technical solutions, dive deep into complex problems, and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement features by writing readable, testable, and maintainable code in Dart.
• Write test cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of implementations.
• Participate in Scrum team activities, engaging in various stages of feature development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and design features that meet project requirements.
• Identify and resolve bugs through thorough code analysis, debugging, and determining root causes, then providing practical solutions.
• Contribute to team effectiveness by sharing expertise and experience and adhering to team standards and best practices.
• Participate in improving project efficiency, component quality, and automation processes when needed.

Your expertise

• Minimum 3 years of Flutter experience.
• Strong proficiency using Dart, Flutter Widgets,  and State Management (preferably BloC).
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture principles.
• Comprehensive understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Strong grasp of application security, safeguard, and secure data handling.
• Experience working with Monorepo structures and package management is a plus.
• Experience in optimizing memory usage and enhancing performance is a plus.
• Ability to design solutions for medium to complex features that involve different teams.
• Professional experience in working in Agile/Scrum projects is a must.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills with a dedication to collaborative problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Effective task prioritization and organizational skills, enabling independent work with minimal supervision.

Tamara is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll ensure product and service quality while delivering exceptional user experiences.

You'll leverage your software quality assurance expertise to manage testing processes and design, implementing solutions that maintain high standards across our systems. Working closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you'll develop technical test solutions, lead automation efforts, and enhance QA CI/CD processes.

Your responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Work on  both manual and automation testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS), Web and backend services
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation test using internal automation framework and system
• Identify the root caused issue, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements, adhering to Agile methodologies and practices.
• Able to adapt with new testing tools and test methodologies

Your expertise

• 6+ years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Test Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Experience working with different frameworks like Detox, Selenium, TestNg,, Appium  etc.
• Experience with Manual and Automation Testing (API, E2E, Mobile)
• Design and development skills in Javascript, Java
• Experience with MySQL and scripting
• Experience with DevOps, AWS is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD tools, and continuous integration concepts 
• Fluency in English.

Create growth opportunities for senior engineers, mentor those aspiring to become Engineering Manager I's, and support the success of new managers. • Technical Excellence: Lead architectural discussions for your team's systems. Drive continuous improvements to system reliability, performance, and scalability. Monitor technical health and ensure the team maintains a healthy balance between new feature delivery and technical investment.
• Execution & Delivery: Define and own the delivery plans for initiatives that span multiple teams. Own resource allocation and hiring strategy for your area. Proactively identify and resolve complex cross-team delivery challenges, making strategic trade-offs between short- and long-term value. Provide clear visibility to leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Product & Business Partnership: Partner directly with Product and business leadership to influence medium- and long-term product strategies. Ensure your teams are focusing on measurable outcomes and ROI, and encourage a culture of thoughtful experimentation aligned with strategic goals.
• Team Health & Collaboration: Build a healthy, inclusive environment of trust, ownership, and accountability. Foster a strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing culture. Work closely with peer Engineering Managers and the architecture board to ensure alignment and drive standards across the engineering organization.

Your Expertise

• You have at least 4+ years of experience managing one or more engineering teams, with a proven track record of managing senior individual contributors and leading projects of medium-to-high complexity.
• Demonstrated experience owning delivery for initiatives spanning multiple teams or complex product domains.
• Strong technical background in modern software development (e.g., Java/Go, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Messaging Queues, Cloud Services), with experience leading architectural discussions and driving technical strategy.
• Experience partnering with product managers to influence product roadmaps and align technical strategy with business objectives.
• Proven ability to develop engineering talent, including mentoring senior engineers and aspiring managers.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience resolving complex, cross-team delivery challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Fintech or eCommerce experience is a strong plus.

• Technical Contribution & Ownership: As a significant technical contributor, you will maintain a strong understanding of your team's software architecture. You will provide technical direction, facilitate technical decision-making in collaboration with senior engineers, and drive quality practices like code reviews and testing. You will support the adoption of engineering best practices such as CI/CD and observability.
• Execution & Delivery: Plan and manage your team's execution to deliver on roadmap commitments. Help the team break down complex topics into smaller, manageable tasks in collaboration with Product and UX. Identify risks early, communicate them to stakeholders, and work actively to mitigate them.
• Team Performance: You are accountable for your team's on-time delivery. You will help define and refine team-level processes to improve effectiveness and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product and business leadership to influence product strategy and drive alignment between technical goals and product priorities. Work closely with other Engineering Managers and the architecture board to ensure consistency and shared learning.

Your Expertise

• You have 1-3 years of experience in an engineering leadership role (e.g., Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Engineering Manager), guiding a team of at least 4 engineers.
• You have a strong technical background in software development (e.g., Java, Go, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Messaging Queues, Cloud Services).
• You are motivated by working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• You have a good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Fintech/eCommerce experience is a plus.
