This role is remote and will focus on test creation, quality analysis, and issue investigation for autonomous vehicle software systems. This is a W-2 full-time REMOTE contract role. We are seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about autonomous vehicle technology and excited to work at the intersection of software, hardware, and vehicle testing. In this role, you will analyze issues reported from vehicle testing, create and manage test suites, support testing infrastructure, and help improve the quality and accuracy of autonomous vehicle software.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a member of the Autonomous Vehicle Test team, you will support end-to-end problem analysis for issues identified during daily vehicle testing. You will work closely with software and hardware engineering teams across multiple disciplines to help deliver a high-quality autonomous driving product.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze issues reported from routine autonomous vehicle testing.
- Execute problem analysis processes, including issue triage, root cause analysis, issue categorization, reporting, and summary documentation.
- Create test suites, manage test configurations, and support infrastructure for running tests.
- Analyze test accuracy and investigate root causes of errors that lead to inaccurate test results.
- Communicate with development teams to understand functional design and stay current on evolving technologies.
- Develop documentation and tools to support issue analysis.
- Collect test data from routine in-car testing and provide feedback on software performance after testing and analysis.
- Collaborate with automotive software testing, software engineering, and hardware engineering teams to improve product quality.

- Technical education or background in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience and proficiency with Python.
- Experience in test engineering within a robotics or automotive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and configure Windows-based PC systems for validation (OS install, driver installation, firmware updates)
- Perform system-level and GPU validation on Windows platforms (primarily GeForce / consumer GPU environments)

- Troubleshoot system issues and determine root cause (setup, driver, OS, or hardware)

In this role you will be responsible for test and analysis of issues across internal and OEM Windows platform configurations. The role ensures CI/CD quality, Windows driver compliance, OEM readiness (HLK/WHQL where applicable), and release readiness across system-level builds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Device Setup & Configuration: Flash Windows OS builds onto boards and OEM devices; install and validate SoC, GPU, USB, display, and platform drivers; configure Windows debugging tools (e.g., WinDbg/KDNET); enable and collect crash dumps and system logs.
• Perform Windows system-level and driver-level validation across functional, stress, power management (Modern Standby, S3/S4), and performance scenarios.
• Investigate Windows system crashes (e.g., BSOD), analyze memory dumps and Windows event logs, and support root cause analysis in collaboration with driver and platform teams.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test plans across internal and OEM Windows configurations, validating multiple driver and software build versions.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify subsystem-level issues (USB, display, PCIe, power management, etc.).
• Triage internal and OEM defects; reproduce failures, collect logs and crash dumps, document findings, and track issue resolution through release readiness.
• Work closely with BSP, driver, OEM QA, and automation teams to ensure CI/CD build stability, validation coverage, and certification readiness (HLK/WHQL where applicable).
• Prepare detailed test execution reports and communicate validation results to internal and external stakeholders.
Skillset:
• 5–8 years of Windows system-level or driver-level testing experience (application-level QA experience alone is not sufficient).
• Hands-on experience with Windows platform validation, driver installation, and driver debugging.

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiting Lead to provide onsite leadership and guidance across hourly, technical trade, and salaried recruitment. This role is hands-on, strategic, and highly visible — ensuring Ford has the workforce it needs to power the future of electric vehicles.
Strategic Leadership & Hiring Manager Enablement
- Develop and execute data-driven recruiting strategies across hourly, technical trade, and salaried positions.
- Train and coach hiring managers on best practices in recruiting, interviewing, bias mitigation, and selection.
- Foster an “always-on” hiring culture with engaged and accountable hiring teams.
- Build pipelines using both active and passive sourcing techniques.
- Focus heavily on top-of-funnel sourcing for hourly and technical trade roles, while also supporting salaried hiring needs.
- Represent the project at career fairs, workforce events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Lead veteran recruiting efforts and strengthen relationships with workforce development partners.
- Track progress against hiring goals and report on recruitment metrics.
- Provide insights to optimize sourcing strategies and candidate funnel health.
- Monitor hiring manager engagement and ensure timely interview feedback and decision-making.
- Partner closely with Ford’s HR and TA leadership to align on workforce needs.
- Deliver a candidate experience that reflects Sustainable Talent’s people-first values and Ford’s employer brand.
- Serve as a trusted representative of both Sustainable Talent and Ford in the community.
- Impact: Drive hiring for a next-generation EV and battery facility shaping the future of mobility.
- Visibility: Influence TA strategy at the leadership level, ensuring ambitious hiring targets are met.
- Growth: Expand your expertise across technical trade, hourly, and salaried recruiting while coaching others.
- Community: Engage with veterans, workforce partners, and community stakeholders.

- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting (hourly, technical, and salaried).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful recruiting strategies.
- Skilled in sourcing techniques, both active and passive.
- Experience training and coaching hiring managers.
- Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
- Veteran outreach/recruiting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
