About the Role
Success Academy is looking for a Team Lead, People Operations, reporting to the Lead, People Operations. In this role, you will play a critical role in running and improving high-volume operational workflows while leading and developing a team. You will ensure that core processes are executed accurately and on time, and continuously improved to meet the needs of a fast-growing organization.
This role is fast-paced and requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. A key part of the role is identifying inefficiencies and simplifying, automating, and scaling how work gets done.
You will act as a strategic operator and people leader — owning core workflows, elevating team performance, and partnering cross-functionally to improve systems, processes, and the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities Include
Lead, coach, and develop a team, setting clear expectations and driving accountability behind data-informed results.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Serve as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive issues, using judgment to resolve problems and drive decisions.
Own and improve core workflows across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal movement, and offboarding.
Analyze data to identify trends, surface challenges, and inform improvements.
Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve team productivity.
Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all employee interactions.
Oversee high-volume pre-employment processes during peak hiring periods
Maintain the accuracy of employee data within systems such as Workday.
Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve systems.
Ensure processes are executed in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Build and maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures.
Standardize processes to support onboarding, training, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a similar fast-paced environment (People Operations or HR experience is a plus, but not required).
1+ years of experience leading or mentoring others (formal or informal leadership).
Experience working with systems or tools to manage workflows, data, or ticketing (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, or similar platforms).
Proven ability to manage complex processes and improve how work gets done.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels.
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. This position is not bonus eligible.

Acting as a point of escalation for HR-related inquiries, managing queries that are more complex or require exercising judgment to interpret policies and draw from precedents.
Own and optimize core People Operations workflows across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and diagnose operational challenges.
Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements to enhance team productivity and service delivery.
Ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience across all interactions
Oversee pre-employment processes (background checks, fingerprinting, education verification, etc.), particularly during peak hiring cycles.
Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee data within Workday and related systems.
Partner with People Tech to troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancements.
Leverage reporting and data insights to monitor team performance and identify trends.
Ensure adherence to all compliance requirements (e.g., I-9 processing, work authorization, audit readiness).
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Develop and maintain SOPs and documentation to drive consistency and scalability.
Standardize processes to support onboarding, training, and continuous improvement across the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in People Operations Or Human Resources, preferably in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
1+ year of experience leading or mentoring team members (direct or indirect). HR Leadership a plus.
Strong knowledge of HR systems such as Workday HCM and ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or similar).
Experience with any of the following systems is a plus: Workday HCM, ServiceNow, Dado.
Proven ability to manage complex processes and drive operational improvements.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.

About the Role
Success Academy is seeking a People Operations Associate to join our HR Team, reporting to the Lead, People Operations. This role plays a key part in supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring an excellent employee experience through efficient execution of administrative tasks and HR processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the team’s success in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on consistent professional communication, quick responsiveness, independence, and exceptional team-work.
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries via the ticketing system, triaging requests to appropriate teams or providing accurate responses using templates, policies, and your knowledge base.
Supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including pre-employment processes (e.g., background checks, fingerprinting), onboarding logistics (e.g., catering, attendance tracking), and internal mobility (e.g., HRIS updates for transfers, title changes, or compensation adjustments).
Assisting with maintaining and updating the Workday HCM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency in employee data.
Assisting with data entry for annual HR processes such as promotions, school transfers, and compensation reviews.
Supporting in the preparation of reports for various organizational needs and assisting with compliance-related documentation.
Providing clear and helpful information to managers and staff regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes.
Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless execution of onboarding activities and HR-related events.
Maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive employee information with the highest level of integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or customer service role in HR or a similar field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral), with a focus on providing a positive employee experience.
Have extraordinarily high standards for the quality of work and a reflex to improve at every turn.
A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Experience with any of the following systems is a plus: Workday HCM, ServiceNow, Dado.
