About the Position

St. Anne’s-Belfield School seeks a full-time mathematics teacher and advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. This role relies on someone who can confidently teach algebra through calculus and collaborate effectively with co-teachers of the same courses. A successful teacher in this position can explain concepts clearly, employ tools to make learning visible, adapt their practices to a modular schedule and an integrated math approach, and communicate effectively with students.
Full-time classroom teaching experience, strong organizational and classroom management skills, and the ability to joyfully teach adolescents are required. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching high school-aged students in a standards-based learning environment (SBL), have experience teaching 90-minute classes, and hold a master's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related field.
As an independent school, we value community involvement and expect that the selected candidate will serve as a coach, and/or lead extracurricular programming beyond the classroom.

Job Summary:
St. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse Substitute to join our team, providing coverage on an as-needed basis across the Lower School and Upper School campuses. The School Nurse is responsible for executing the school health program, assisting with student well-being, and completing health-related tasks.
Standard work hours are 7:50 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Position Type: Temporary/Part-Time
Essential Duties:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience:
Must hold a valid license to practice as an LPN or RN in Virginia and maintain current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. Familiarity and confidence with basic keyboarding skills and medical record keeping are expected. Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years of experience as a school nurse.
Physical Conditions and Work Contacts:
Duties are typically performed in a school clinic and other school settings such as classrooms, gym, cafeteria, and recreational areas. Frequent movement throughout the school facilities is required. Occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds and students weighing 150 pounds may be necessary. Occasional exposure to potentially infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens is necessary. Occasional movement of students by wheelchair and other mechanical devices may be necessary.

St. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO). This is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing the school’s strategic vision through philanthropy and community engagement. Reporting to the Head of School and serving on the Senior Administrative Leadership Team (SALT), the CAO will support St. Anne’s-Belfield’s mission of preparing students to be “strong in body, broad of mind, tender of heart, responsive in soul” while ensuring the financial sustainability and vitality of the school’s programs and campus life.
This role is ideally suited for a visionary leader who has demonstrated experience in fundraising but is also comfortable working as a leader and strategic partner across the school. The CAO will appreciate both St. Anne's-Belfield’s deep-rooted traditions of student-centered education and the opportunities to generate significant support for all of the school’s programs.

Position Summary: The Audiovisual (AV) Performance Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end execution of technical production for school events, arts performances, and external rentals. This is a high-availability role requiring travel between two campuses and a flexible schedule to manage dynamic production needs, including the coordination of IT staff for concurrent events. The Specialist ensures the seamless operation of sound, lighting, and video systems while providing expert support to the Visual and Performing Arts Departments, Auxiliary Services, and the IT team. Given the irregular nature of event production, this position is granted the professional autonomy to manage a flexible workweek—balancing evening and weekend demands with "flex-time" during standard school hours to maintain a sustainable workload. As a key resource for the entire school community, the Specialist works with students across the full age spectrum—from our youngest learners in the Lower School to young adults in the Upper School. While collaborating most closely with the Arts departments, the Specialist provides professional AV support to all divisions and must maintain a positive, encouraging, and patient demeanor with every student and faculty member. Depending on the candidate’s background and interest, this position may also include an instructional component (approx. 20%), teaching one or more sections of our 6-week elective courses: Audio Engineering 1, 2, and/or Technical Theatre at the Upper School (Grades 9 – 12) level. This is an on-site position in Charlottesville, VA.

St. Anne’s-Belfield School seeks a strategically oriented and experienced financial and business leader to fill the key position of Chief Operating and Financial Officer (COFO). The COFO will work closely with the Head of School in support of the school’s mission, vision, and values. The COFO oversees the organization, management, and implementation of the school's comprehensive business, financial, and investment initiatives. The COFO is a key member of the Senior Administrative Leadership Team (SALT) that oversees the day-to-day operation of the school, as well as the “big picture” issues and ambitious plans that outline St. Anne’s-Belfield’s future.
The COFO ensures that the institution’s people and programs benefit from access to ample resources, that current and future projects are well-funded and well-managed, and that St. Anne’s-Belfield School considers both mission and financial sustainability in all its decisions. Proficiency with accounting systems and effective data management and analysis to support innovation and efficiency across the organization is critical to effectiveness in this role. In addition, the successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership in implementing change and fostering a high level of teamwork and customer service, while embracing both diversity and technological advancement.
The COFO supervises the Controller, and the Directors of Auxiliary Services, Facilities, Human Resources, and Information Technology. In addition, the COFO's responsibilities encompass the management of contracted services, including Dining, Housekeeping and Security. The COFO serves as the school’s fiscal and fiduciary officer, responsible for issuing financial and management statements and reports.
