The Role…

We are looking for a Seasonal People Admin to support the people operations in Ibiza. The People Admin will work with and report directly to the People Partner.

This is a fast-moving business so we are looking for the right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once. The role requires the right balance between understanding business strategy/objectives, and being able to deliver the principles in a people capacity.

The Role… 

As Floor Manager at Soho House, you are an ambassador for the brand with a detailed knowledge of the Soho House Group and its concept including all menus and food & beverage offerings. Demonstrating a professional approach towards our  employees and Members, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club, any associated events in the club and including the member and guest experience. 

Main Duties…

• Be visible on the floor and engaging with the members gaining feedback and noting any comments through the reporting channels and directly to the kitchen and front of house team
• Ensuring that members and guests have a great experience and resolving any issues before they depart
• Ordering and purchasing of products for the Club
• Coordinate and operate the POS system and ensure all items are updated as necessary
• Be available for all staff for any requests and problems and pro-active in problem solving
• To ensure that the club team is appropriately groomed and wearing the correct uniform in accordance with site and company standards
• Work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently
• Print, organize, and separate various necessary documents, summarize relevant information, and distribute information to appropriate employees
• Ensure employee compliance with company standards and policies and external regulations
• Ensure that hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
• Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards
• Maintain the highest level of appearance at all times
• Be physically fit and able to safely and repeatedly lift, bend, twist and be able to stand/walk for long periods of time

• Up to 3-5 years’ experience in a busy hospitality venue within a Floor Management capacity

The Role…

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. As a Bartender with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibilities are serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed) and providing excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. Other duties include mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service and ensuring it is in pristine condition.

• Create a welcoming environment for members and guests when they approach the bar.
• Fulfilling members’ drinks orders accurately and promptly. 
• Enquiring about any allergy or dietary requirements, ensuring you follow our allergy procedure . 
• Verifying the age of guests checking identification if necessary.  
• Possess a strong understanding of the drinks menu in order to make recommendations on pairings and any other specific member requests.
• Enquiring if the members are satisfied with food or drink and asking if they need anything else. Accommodating special requests where possible to creative a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
• Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
• Working alongside the barbacks to ensure the bar is stocked up.
• Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment. 
• Providing members with the bill and processing payment via card or utilising the SHApp and House Pay.
• Attending regular trainings and briefings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.  
• Running drinks for the bar to the tables when needed. 
• Resolve member complaints, handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. 
• Take action in all matters related to safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members.
• Assure the proper handling of VIPs and PWKs, protecting their privacy and confidentiality.
• Supporting the team with any of their needs on an ad-hoc basis
• Ensure that you follow and implement the standard operating procedures in your site

What we are looking for in a bartender?..

The role..

We are seeking a passionate Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As part of our Soho House team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.

• Welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen and in addition, memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
• Greet customers and hand out menus.
• Take meal and beverage orders from customers and place these orders in the kitchen.
• Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
• Confirm food items match the orders and deliver them to the correct table.
• Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
• Check that customers are satisfied with their meal.
• Prepare the bill for tables when requested.
• Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid.
• Administer change to tables if needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to everyone, anticipating the guests needs.
• Showing food and beverage knowledge through taking orders and providing advice on ingredients, dietary restrictions and upselling.
• Manage a busy section whilst adhering to company service and conduct standards.
• Ensuring the correct set up, handover and breakdown of the restaurant and shift.

What we are looking for in a Waiter?..

A successful Waiter/Waitress for Soho Farmhouse Ibiza will ideally have up to 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

• Must have experience in a 5-star hotel or in a fine dining restaurant.
• Must have a passion for food and beverage and guest satisfaction.

• Participar activamente en la producción diaria de la cocina para los distintos outlets, eventos, etc.
• Preparar la cocina y el puesto antes del servicio.
• Preparar, marinar, cortar y precocinar todos los alimentos listos para el servicio.
• Seguir recetas, controles de porciones, especificaciones de emplatado y presentación para ofrecer platos consistentes y de alta calidad.
• Asegurarse de que el equipo de cocina se utilice con cuidado y siempre esté bien mantenido.
• Asegurarse de que todos los alimentos se manejen correctamente de acuerdo con las prácticas, políticas y procedimientos APPCC.
• Comunicar a sus responsables si algún equipo no funciona correctamente, o si falta material de cocina o productos, etc.

The role…

We are seeking an experienced Night guest services to join our team at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. The Night guest services assist with checking members in to the property and hotel guests into their room as well as streamline various inquiries, risks and other matters that arise. The Night guest services is responsible for receiving payments and balancing cash at end of a shift. You will be well-versed with the property layout, briefed on special offers (when applicable), restaurant/F&B options and other amenities but not limited to gym, spa and shared workspace.

A successful Night guest services is hospitable by nature, pro-active, capable multi-tasker as well as level-headed, professional in demanding and fast paced environments.

• Ensure every member is welcomed by their name and guest is welcomed with open arm and in a hospitable manner: the Soho House way is warm and friendly.
• Responsible for shift breakdown and financial / accounting related inquiries (i.e. sending folios, fielding disputes, billing, receipts, refund requests) as well as walkout retrievals and keep all lost credit cards in safe
• Primary point of initial contact for members, guests and staff and must ensure all visitors are welcomed with open arms and provided with top-notch service from the moment they enter a Soho House & Co property
• Expert in performing all concierge duties as required including, but not limited to; booking cars, tickets to shows, restaurant reservations, spa reservations, etc.
• Answer incoming emails and inquires via various digital portals members and guests have access to as well as printing/scanning documents for members and guests joining us in rooms (hotel)
• Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout
• Responsible for knowing any updates regarding hours of operation, reservation restrictions and matters that will result in change of workflow by communicating with all departments daily
• Delegate support for members and guests to valet and luggage storage to the bell attendant and/or butler.
• Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows and communicates information to guests
• Prepares expected arrival list for front office use
• Updates member and guests’ profiles
• To be aware of all front office procedures
• Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management in any other areas of the house
• Build a positive relationships with members and guest.
• Communicate and red flag any feedback to the management team.
• Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
• Well- versed on standard operating procedures, menus, amenities and pricing.

As a Guest Services you will support with communicating with guests any questions or queries, travel arrangements, booking reservations for the hotel and other outlets arriving by telephone, email or through a central reservation system.

• Ensure every member is welcomed by their name and guest is welcomed with open arm and in a hospitable manner: the Soho House way is warm and friendly.
• Processes reservations for other outlets such as spa and restaurant.
• Assists in answering any member or guest queries via telephone or email
• Processes reservations from the sales office, other hotel departments, and travel agents
• Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout
• Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans
• Communicates reservation information and all special requests to the front desk
• Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk
• Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows and communicates information to guests
• Prepares expected arrival list for front office use
• Updates member and guests’ profiles
• Handles daily correspondence. Responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed
