What You’ll Be Launching

Slingshot Aerospace is looking for a Capture and Proposals Manager to support the growth of our international business. This role plays is crucial for us to meet the demand from our customers for the capabilities an services we provide. As part of our International Growth team you will work closely with the rest of the company to ensure Slingshot consistently delivers the best response to our global customers. We can promise that the work will be varied dealing with ‘rapid-turn’ proposals and strategic longer-term bids. The role will be diverse, and you will have an impact.

This position is well suited to someone who has worked in proposals or capture support for a few years and is now ready to take the next step and looking for more authority and greater responsibility.

Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it)

• Lead the preparation and coordination of proposals, RFP responses, RFIs, and related opportunity submissions for international customers
• Manage proposal timelines, schedules, and deliverables to ensure high-quality and compliant and coordinate across the company on capture activities to align strategy, messaging, and win themes
• Coordinate inputs from cross-functional stakeholders
• Ensure proposals clearly articulate the value of Slingshot’s Space Operations Intelligence and Autonomy offerings
• Maintain proposal documentation, templates, and knowledge repositories for all international captures
• Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes and help strengthen Slingshot’s international bid capability

Pre-flight Checklist

• Experience supporting or managing proposal development, bids, or capture activities
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written communication and document coordination skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to assemble proposal responses
• Familiarity with responding to RFIs, RFPs, or similar procurement processes
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams

Bonus Cargo

• Experience supporting both ‘quick-turn’ proposals and complex strategic bids
• Familiarity with government, defense, or public-sector procurement
• Experience working across international teams or regions
• Exposure to aerospace, space, satellite data, defense, or advanced analytics industries
• Experience with proposal management tools, CRM systems, or opportunity tracking platforms

What You’ll Be Launching 

The Business Development Manager, Middle East is responsible for expanding Slingshot’s market presence across key Middle Eastern regions, including the GCC, Levant, and North Africa. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, new customer acquisition, and market expansion efforts aligned with company objectives. This is a senior, results-driven role ideal for someone with deep regional market knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and experience building long-term relationships across government, commercial, and enterprise customers. The Manager will own regional pipeline development, lead deal execution, and serve as a key representative of Slingshot in the Middle East.

Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it)

Regional Strategy & Market Development

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with Slingshot’s growth objectives.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across priority Middle Eastern markets.

• Conduct market research to assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.

• Provide regional insights to inform product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.

Client & Partner Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, strategic partners, government entities, and other key stakeholders.

• Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that expand market reach and accelerate growth.

• Represent Slingshot at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Sales Execution & Deal Management

• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to regional customers.

• Lead negotiations, structure deals, and close contracts in alignment with internal policies and revenue targets.

• Manage and forecast regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support deal execution.

• Monitor performance against KPIs, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue.

• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and cultural norms in all business activities.

Pre-flight Checklist 

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.

• Demonstrated experience working within Middle Eastern markets.

• Strong regional network and market knowledge in at least one key country (e.g., UAE, KSA, Qatar).

• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and close complex deals.

• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Bonus Cargo

• Experience selling into government, aerospace, defense, or technology-driven markets.

• Familiarity with long-cycle enterprise or public-sector sales.

• Experience working with cross-border or multinational teams.
