What You’ll Be Launching 

As an Account Executive, you will own and grow a portfolio of National Security customers focused on the Eastern US. You will lead complex, enterprise-level sales cycles with defense, intelligence, and national security organizations, serving as a trusted partner who understands mission priorities, acquisition pathways, and budget realities. Your work will directly support Slingshot’s growth within critical national security programs and long-term customer relationships.

Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it)  

• Own the full sales lifecycle for assigned National Security accounts, from opportunity identification through contract execution and expansion 
• Develop deep relationships with senior government stakeholders, program offices, and mission users across the Intelligence Community and related national security organizations
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of enterprise opportunities aligned to territory and revenue targets
• Shape customer requirements and acquisition strategies through early engagement and solution positioning
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Science, Capture, and Program teams to deliver customer-aligned proposals, briefings, RFIs, and demonstrations
• Forecast accurately and maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene using established sales processes and tools
• Represent Slingshot at customer meetings, industry events, and mission-focused forums
• Communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders to inform roadmap and go-to-market strategy
• Perform other duties as assigned (less than 10%) 

Pre-flight Checklist 

• 8+ years of enterprise-level B2G or B2B sales experience, or equivalent experience, with demonstrated success closing complex deals 
• Experience selling to U.S. National Security organizations or adjacent mission partners
• Strong understanding of federal procurement, budgeting, and acquisition processes
• Proven ability to manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel up to 25%, or equivalent flexibility 

Bonus Cargo 

• Experience working with Intelligence Community or national security mission customers 
• Existing relationships within defense or intelligence organizations in the Eastern U.S.
• Familiarity with space, aerospace, or data-driven technology solutions

The Business Development Manager, Middle East is responsible for expanding Slingshot’s market presence across key Middle Eastern regions, including the GCC, Levant, and North Africa. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, new customer acquisition, and market expansion efforts aligned with company objectives. This is a senior, results-driven role ideal for someone with deep regional market knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and experience building long-term relationships across government, commercial, and enterprise customers. The Manager will own regional pipeline development, lead deal execution, and serve as a key representative of Slingshot in the Middle East.

Regional Strategy & Market Development

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with Slingshot’s growth objectives.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across priority Middle Eastern markets.

• Conduct market research to assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.

• Provide regional insights to inform product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.

Client & Partner Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, strategic partners, government entities, and other key stakeholders.

• Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that expand market reach and accelerate growth.

• Represent Slingshot at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Sales Execution & Deal Management

• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to regional customers.

• Lead negotiations, structure deals, and close contracts in alignment with internal policies and revenue targets.

• Manage and forecast regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support deal execution.

• Monitor performance against KPIs, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue.

• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and cultural norms in all business activities.

Pre-flight Checklist 

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.

• Demonstrated experience working within Middle Eastern markets.

• Strong regional network and market knowledge in at least one key country (e.g., UAE, KSA, Qatar).

• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and close complex deals.

• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

You will work closely with Sales, Capture, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer missions and technical requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions. In this role, you will combine solution architecture, applied data science, and systems engineering expertise to shape customer engagements, influence solution design, and support successful deal outcomes.

• Experience supporting customer-facing or pre-sales technical engagements

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams

The Partner & Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing Slingshot’s field marketing events and supporting enablement programs for strategic partners and marketplaces. This role sits within the Marketing organization and works closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and RevOps to ensure Slingshot is represented consistently and effectively across events, partner channels, and joint go-to-market initiatives. 

This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role ideal for someone earlier in their marketing career who enjoys managing events, building partner-facing materials, and supporting GTM programs. The Manager will own end-to-end event execution, contribute to partner enablement efforts, and help scale repeatable marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.

Marketing Events & Field Programs

• Plan and execute Slingshot’s marketing events, including conferences, trade shows, partner events, hosted customer sessions, and virtual events. 
• Manage event logistics end-to-end: timelines, budgets, vendors, registrations, shipping, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up. 
• Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to ensure event messaging, demos, and materials align with GTM priorities. 
• Support lead capture, event reporting, and post-event enablement for Sales. 

Partner Enablement & Co-Marketing

• Support marketing and enablement efforts for strategic partners and marketplaces (e.g., Carahsoft, Bluestaq, AWS, and others). 
• Coordinate partner webinars, joint events, and co-marketing activities. 
• Develop and maintain partner-facing marketing assets, including one-pagers, presentations, marketplace listings, and enablement kits. 
• Help onboard new partners by providing clear messaging, positioning, and go-to-market materials. 

Go-to-Market Support & Enablement Content

• Create and maintain a centralized library of event and partner enablement materials. 
• Support sales-facing enablement needs related to events and partner-led opportunities (e.g., event follow-up kits, partner pitch decks). 
• Gather feedback from Sales and partners to continuously improve materials and programs. 
• Assist with product launches by supporting event activation and partner communication. 

Cross-Functional Coordination & Program Operations

• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and RevOps to ensure alignment across field programs. 
• Track event and partner marketing performance, including attendance, engagement, and pipeline influence. 
• Support process improvements and documentation to make events and partner programs more scalable and repeatable. 

Pre-flight Checklist 

• 3–6 years of experience in marketing, events, partner marketing, field marketing, or a related role. 
• Hands-on experience planning and executing in-person and/or virtual events. 
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail. 
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams. 
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot or similar).
