Technical Support Engineer

We’re looking for a Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer to become a product expert, assist our customers with complex technical inquiries, and strengthen our relationships through high-level problem-solving. This role reports to the Global Director of Product Support.

The Technical Support Engineer acts as the critical escalation point for our Enterprise, SMB and No-Touch customers, as well as our Go-To-Market (CS and AM) teams. You are the bridge between customer-facing issues and our technical core, ensuring that complex data and technical challenges are resolved with precision.
So, what will you be doing all day?
As a key member of the Product Support team, you will dive deep into the mechanics and data behind our SaaS platform. Your daily responsibilities include:
- Advanced Problem Solving: Own high-level escalations by partnering with Product, R&D, and Data teams to diagnose bugs and drive engineering priorities. 🧩
- Data Forensics & Analysis: Investigate discrepancies by querying and cross-referencing diverse data sources. You don't just find the "what"—you build the narrative around the root cause. 🔍
- API & Integration Mastery: Act as the technical lead for REST and Batch API troubleshooting, utilizing tools like Postman to resolve complex integration hurdles. 🛠
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the definitive consultant on Similarweb’s data methodology for both Enterprise customers and internal GTM teams. 🎓
- Knowledge & Advocacy: Document reproducible bugs to empower the entire support organization. 📢
- Influence: Act as the "Voice of the Customer," suggesting new features to enhance the user experience.
What you bring to the table?
- Experience: 1+ year in a customer-facing role (Support, Technical CS, or Onboarding) within the SaaS or Digital Marketing space.
- Communication: Native-level English with the ability to translate "tech-speak" into clear, actionable insights for customers. 🗣️
- Data Fluency: Advanced Excel skills and basic SQL knowledge. You are naturally curious and love "following the thread" to solve data mysteries. 📊
- API Literacy: A conceptual understanding of RESTful APIs and Postman. You can comfortably inspect and test calls (no coding required). 🛠️
- The "Detective" Spirit: You thrive on the hunt for a root cause and enjoy owning an investigation from the initial spark to the final solution. 🕵️♂️
- Autonomy: A critical thinker who is comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity when the answer isn't obvious. 🧠
It’s a plus if you are someone who:
- Has experienced in JIRA, Zendesk or other support ticketing systems
- Has experience working in a DaaS company

Product Support Specialist

Here's what you'll be doing all day:
In this role, you’ll help ensure that users get the most out of Similarweb’s products. Here’s what you’ll be doing daily:
- Deliver high-quality support: Provide personalized, prompt, and accurate responses to customer inquiries (mainly via email).
- Work efficiently: Achieve high satisfaction ratings, quick response, and speedy resolutions. 📈
- Become a product expert: Learn Similarweb’s platform inside and out to offer the best possible solutions and support.
- Investigate and escalate: Identify and escalate bugs or technical issues to our Tier 2 team when needed. 🔍
- Enhance user experience: Share feedback on product improvements to help enhance our platform.
- Collaborate: Route clients to other teams when necessary, ensuring they get the support they need.

SMB Account Executive

We’re looking for a SMB Account Executive to increase Similarweb’s market share by creating and cultivating new accounts. This role will report to our Team Manager of Inside Sales.
Why is this role so important at Similarweb?
Similarweb’s digital intelligence solutions serve thousands of customers across many different industries and use cases around the world, and we haven’t even scraped the barrel of our total addressable market. As a Account Executive for Inside Sales, you will control the entire sales cycle, and develop critical relationships with our small to medium size business prospects. With customers who love the product, strong brand recognition, and a supportive team behind you, you’ll be set up for success to meet your sales quotas.
So, what will you be doing all day?
- Full-Funnel Ownership: Manage the end-to-end New Name Business (NNB) process, from the first discovery call to the final signature.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with the local Czechia-based SDR team and the MIR team to expertly manage inbound meetings and ensure a seamless handoff.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct value-based discovery to deeply understand prospect pain points, positioning SimilarWeb solutions as a critical driver for their business workflows.
- High-Velocity Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of 30–35 active opportunities, with the drive to close deals on a weekly or bi-weekly cadence.
- Multi-Stakeholder Navigation: Coordinate across various departments within a prospect’s organization to secure buy-in and yield higher ARR accounts.
- Hybrid Prospecting: While around 70% of the role focuses on warm/inbound leads, you will be expected to self-source and "hunt" through cold calling and re-engaging former inbound or "closed-lost" prospects.
This is the perfect job for someone who:
- Fluent in English, additional European languages are a bonus!
- Has a minimum of 3 years experience in sales/ business development/ or consulting
- Demonstrates strong presentation skills, and has experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
- Feels confident leading the sales process and handing customer objections
- Is highly collaborative, and uses a direct and honest approach to delivering customer success
- Has previous experience selling SaaS products or data subscriptions
- Is proficient in Salesforce
