Summary:
The IT Internal Auditor, Sr, based in Malta, is responsible for the execution of risk-based IT regulatory, operational, and resilience audits across regulated entities within Shift4 Group. Reporting to the Director, Internal Audit, this position is primarily responsible for executing IT regulatory and operational audits, evaluating the effectiveness of technology controls, and providing practical, value-added advisory support to management.
The position requires strong technical IT audit expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor in a complex and evolving regulatory environment.
The role is hands-on and execution-focused, covering the full audit lifecycle from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up, with regular interaction with senior management, IT leadership, and geographically dispersed teams.
