The Category and Marketing Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting vouchers and promotion operations, multi-category growth, improving supply-demand alignment, and strengthening the commercial foundations needed for successful marketing strategies across multiple categories, markets, and performance channels.

This role will directly enable Refurbed’s expansion across categories, brands and countries by taking ownership of operational and analytical tasks.

You will work closely with Demand Planning, Category Managers, CRM, Performance Marketing (Search/Shopping, Paid Social, Affiliates), Product, and Commercial teams.

• WHO YOU ARE

  • 2–5 years experience in e-commerce, category management, marketing operations, performance marketing, or commercial strategy.
  • Strong analytical and data-handling skills; able to create clear insights from complex data.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and operationally strong.
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple teams and managing parallel workstreams across categories, markets, and performance channels.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with consumer electronics / SDA is a plus.
  • Experience with promotions or marketplace operations preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• You drive multi-category growth. You support prioritization and budget allocation across categories and markets, turning demand-side insights (search, click data, pricing signals) into clear, actionable growth opportunities and structured recommendations.
• You run promotions end-to-end. You execute voucher campaigns across markets, monitor performance and ROI, and continuously optimize based on supply relevance, cost efficiency, and commercial impact.
• You connect Marketing and Supply. You align teams by consolidating forecasts, stock, pricing, and partner inputs, ensuring everyone works off the same priorities and timelines while contributing clear insights to business reviews.
• You enable brands and partners. You maintain key KPIs, ensure data readiness for activation, and support smooth rollout of brand campaigns.
• You scale how we work. You build tools, dashboards, and documentation that enable teams to be more self-serve, while identifying automation opportunities to reduce manual effort.
• You support performance execution. You help translate category priorities into performance marketing channels (Search, Paid Social, Affiliates) and ensure campaigns are set up for success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support the team in implementing initiatives in our channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube) to optimize the performance of our campaigns, increase incremental revenue, and strengthen our brand awareness.
• Analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization as well as interesting insights and trends.
• Assist the team with our creatives management process to ensure we deliver the best ads by providing creative input and collaborating with designers and external partners.
• Co-manage ad accounts for some of our markets, which entails regular performance analysis and campaign implementation and optimisations.
• Follow the test and learn approach with the team to further advance the set up of our campaigns and improve efficiency.
• Provide administrative support to the paid social team as needed, including documentation, and file management.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in performance marketing.

In this role, you will work closely with the existing SEA team, taking ownership of key accounts and initiatives while actively collaborating on strategy, testing, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth through hands-on campaign execution, ongoing optimization, and strategic development of our SEA channels — always with a strong focus on efficiency and profitability.

Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will combine deep channel expertise with a strong analytical mindset, while contributing to team knowledge, shared learnings, and scalable best practices across markets

WHO YOU ARE:  

• You have 5+ years of professional experience in operational campaign management in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising - other search networks are a plus.
• You have a proven track-record of steering performance marketing in e-commerce, having hands-on experience with GMC and other feed management tools.
• You are a data-driven decision maker who confidently navigates complex datasets, multiple data sources, and interdependencies. Working with Excel and spreadsheets is part of your daily toolkit.
• You have strong presentation skills, speaking regularly in front of an audience feels natural to you.
• You are a true team player who is open-minded and a rational thinker combined with a high degree of accountability.
• Strong experimentation mindset with a structured approach to A/B testing & comfortable iterating quickly based on learnings and scaling successful test result.
• You have excellent English skills; proficiency in Bulgarian, Croatian, Estonian, Greek, Latvian, Lithuanian, French, Slovak, Slovenian, and/or Spanish is a strong plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Own and scale refurbed’s SEA channels, ensuring continuous growth through hands-on campaign execution, optimization, and strategic development whilst always being aligned with efficiency targets.
• Contribute to new market launches, including feed setup, campaign architecture, translation workflows, and initial testing frameworks for brand and generic campaigns.
• Analyze performance across multiple data sources (platform data, internal BI, market trends, attribution & MMM) to make data-driven decisions that boost efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure operational excellence, including quality checks, alerting processes, debugging issues (feed drops, data mismatches, shopping disapprovals), and maintaining a high-performance, stable SEA ecosystem.
• Champion automation and experimentation, leveraging scripts, automated rules, bid strategies, and structured testing roadmaps.
• Regularly present performance insights to leadership, translate complex data into clear recommendations, and influence strategic decisions across Marketing and the wider organization.
• Identify opportunities for growth by deep-diving into search intent, competitor activity, category trends, and performance patterns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with creation, analytics or the supply team to build high-impact campaigns and performance improvements.
