Qualifications and Requirements

• 7-15 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a strong focus on Utility Bedding products (e.g.premium down and premium down alt comforters, pillows, mattress pads and covers, etc) in the home goods industry.
• Proven track record in vendor development, negotiation, and managing international supply chains, particularly in CN regions.
• Deep knowledge of textile materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., in sustainable sourcing) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and building global relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scout for vendor partners in SEA who can manufacture high quality Women's Woven products with fast production lead time
• Pitching and on-boarding vendor partners in speed. This should be done with clear criteria around the initial test period and ensuring their ability to scale, if the test period is successful.
• Drive excellence in partner operations for existing supplier relationships within current Quince categories, while expanding the supply base and improving Quince's product costs, quality, and commercial terms for sustainable sales and profitability
• Material Sourcing: Resource in speed any materials that can effectively improve product cost, quality and speed as options for scaling order. Have experience negotiating with suppliers throughout the supply chain from T1 to T2 mill/ vendor partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

●    Proven experience in materials procurement, supply chain management, or sourcing, with a specific focus on Silk or Silk-based materials.
●    Deep understanding of the Silk value chain, including rawhide sourcing, tanning processes, finishing techniques, and Silk grading, as well as quality variations and end-use applications.
●    Strong professional network and/or knowledge of major players in the Silk market, including tanneries and ethical Silk suppliers.
●    Expertise in analyzing and mitigating price volatility in the Silk market and managing commodity risk.
●    Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships across multiple geographies.

THE ROLE 

Sourcing Manager - Apparel, Men's activewear

We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Sourcing Manager to build and lead our Apparel, Men's activewear function. This person will be tasked with identifying and onboarding new vendor partners from scratch. The role will focus primarily on the Men's Activewear category with potential expansion into other categories.

This is a rare opportunity to own and build a sourcing operation in a high-impact category. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of category manufacturing, strong vendor relationships (or the ability to cultivate them), and the operational rigor to scale new supply chains that deliver on cost, quality, and lead time.

Responsibilities

• Scout for vendor partners in China who can manufacture high quality products with fast production lead time
• Pitching and on-boarding vendor partners in speed. This should be done with clear criteria around the initial test period and ensuring their ability to scale, if the test period is successful.
• Drive excellence in partner operations for existing supplier relationships within current Quince categories, while expanding the supply base and improving Quince's product costs, quality, and commercial terms.
• Act as an Ambassador to our partners in all interactions, building and deepening our relationships Continuous improvement
• Drive for higher hit-rate launches (reviews, returns, sales) through product excellence and drive for faster development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions

Qualifications

• Experience: 10 year + sourcing and merchandising experience in apparel, men's activewear categories with high-end national brands in United States
