Quince is hiring Decoration Operators for our production facilities in Buena Park and Santa Fe Springs. This is a shop floor role. You will be assigned to a primary decoration method, trained on it, responsible for hitting output and quality targets consistently.

Our decoration methods include embroidery, debossing, heat transfer, screen printing, luggage printing, and seamstress / sewing work, among others. You will be placed based on your background and our production needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain your assigned decoration equipment – embroidery, debossing, heat transfer, screen printing, luggage printing, seamstress / sewing, and others
• Run daily production against output and quality targets
• Inspect finished pieces against job specs before they move downstream – placement, registration, color, stitch count, and construction
• Identify and resolve defects immediately; escalate to your Lead when needed
• Execute job changeovers using setup sheets and decoration specs
• Perform pre-shift machine readiness checks and daily cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
• Handle first-level troubleshooting on your equipment
• Log output counts, defects, and downtime in the production system in real time
• Communicate material shortages, equipment issues, or quality problems to your Lead as they happen
• Support finishing work including trimming, folding, tagging, bagging, and packing as needed

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Experience in garment decoration, embroidery, apparel construction, or a related production environment strongly preferred – we will also train candidates coming from other production or manufacturing backgrounds with transferable skills
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality – placement, registration, color, construction
• Ability to follow SOPs consistently and flag issues without being asked
• Reliable and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when needed
• Bilingual English / Spanish a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking throughout the entirety of your shift
• Ability to go up and down stairs, use of ladders throughout the day as needed
• Bending, twisting, or kneeling may be required throughout the day for lifting or maneuvering objects

Pay Range: $22 - 23/hour with overtime opportunities available

THE ROLE

Quality Assurance Manager, 3rd Party Inventory and Production

Quince is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager, 3rd Party Inventory and Production to serve as our on-the-ground quality champion at our third-party decorator facility in Oxnard, CA. This is a fully on-site role, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, embedded directly within our 3P decorator's operations. The role may involve transportation to our Los Angeles Warehouse and other decorators in the area as needed to address quality issues.

You will be the eyes and ears of Quince at the facility — inspecting inbound inventory, auditing production quality, raising issues in real time, and building the processes that drive us to our targets of 99% On-Time Delivery and 99% Quality Acceptance. You will serve as the critical link between the physical production floor and our remote team of project managers, providing clear, timely updates and escalating risks before they become problems. Your inputs will help shape our Production Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Own quality outcomes at the 3P decorator facility, holding performance to 99% on-time delivery and 99% quality acceptance rate targets across all production runs.
• Monitor the inspection of inbound inventory received at the facility, verifying quantities, condition, and specifications against purchase orders and production requirements, drive timely inventory replacements to minimize production delays. Identify root cause issues stemming from the warehouse, and work cross-functionally to implement SOPs at the warehouse level to resolve issues. 
• Conduct production quality checks throughout the decoration process (e.g., embroidery, screen-printing, heat transfer, embossing), identifying defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from brand standards. 
• Raise issues quickly and clearly, documenting defects, inventory discrepancies, and production delays with supporting evidence (photos, data, root cause notes) and driving swift resolution with the decorator. Push the third party to implement changes rapidly. 
• Provide structured and ad hoc updates to the remote project manager team, communicating production status, quality metrics, open issues, and risk flags in a clear, actionable format. Work with the Program Manager to incorporate project updates into the Production Management System. 
• Build and implement QA processes and SOPs from the ground up — from incoming goods inspection to final outbound audits — to create a repeatable, scalable quality system.
• Track and analyze quality and delivery KPIs, identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders.
• Influence and partner with the 3P decorator to drive adoption of Quince quality standards, SOPs, and process improvements — building trust and buy-in at the facility level to implement changes that stick.
• Identify root causes of quality failures, inventory discrepancies, and delivery misses, and work cross-functionally with internal project managers, sourcing, and the decorator to resolve them and prevent recurrence.
• Support onboarding of new product lines or decoration techniques by developing quality checkpoints and training criteria specific to each program.
• Maintain accurate records of quality references, inspections, defect rates, corrective actions, and inventory discrepancies in Quince's tracking systems.
• Conduct weekly operations check-ins with decorators to review performance, open issues, corrective actions, and upcoming production requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, quality assurance, quality control, or production operations, preferably within apparel, accessories, textiles or decorated goods.
• Proven ability to identify, escalate, and resolve production and inventory quality issues in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong process-building mindset — experience creating SOPs, inspection criteria, and quality frameworks from scratch.
• Excellent communicator, able to translate on-the-ground observations into clear, concise written updates for a remote team.
• Detail-oriented and data-driven, with experience tracking KPIs and using metrics to drive decisions and accountability.
• Comfortable working independently on-site with minimal direct supervision while staying tightly aligned with a distributed team.
• Proficiency with production tracking tools, WMS/OMS systems, or similar platforms; strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
• Flexible and solutions-oriented, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, rush orders, and unexpected issues.
• Nice to have: Hands-on knowledge of decoration techniques (embroidery, screen-printing, heat transfer, embossing) and the quality standards associated with each.

THE ROLE 

Senior Manager, B2B Fulfillment Operations

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, B2B Fulfillment Operations to build and scale Quince’s dedicated B2B fulfillment and in-house decoration operations during a critical growth phase. Our B2B business sells bulk quantities of blank and customized Quince products for corporate swag and uniforms, and is scaling from mid eight-figure GMV today to nine-figure GMV in 2026.

In this role, you will build and optimize end-to-end B2B fulfillment and decoration workflows across Buena Park, CA and Hong Kong, taking operations from 0 to 1 and beyond. You will lead multi-site teams, define scalable processes, and partner closely with Engineering, the Decoration Program Lead, and cross-functional stakeholders to create a high-performance, multi-tenant fulfillment capability. This role is based in Buena Park, CA. 

Success in this position means launching and scaling a dedicated B2B fulfillment engine that delivers 99%+ on-time and quality performance, drives continuous cost efficiency, and enables Quince to expand its B2B offering with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the B2B fulfillment operation in Buena Park, CA, standing up a new warehouse workflow and in-house decoration capability from the ground up.

• Launch and scale an in-house decoration facility capable of processing 10,000+ units per day within six months.

• Oversee and expand the Hong Kong customization operation, scaling throughput while ensuring quality, consistency, and cost discipline.

• Design and implement a dedicated B2B fulfillment process distinct from D2C, including inventory storage, picking, packing, and decoration workflows.

• Lead and optimize in-house decoration operations (embroidery, screen-printing), managing on-site operations leaders.

• Execute multi-tenant fulfillment operations to enable distinct packaging, value-added services, and future fulfillment-as-a-service capabilities.

• Partner closely with Engineering to define and implement WMS and OMS requirements that support B2B complexity and scale.

• Drive continuous improvement across labor productivity, throughput, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.

• Define and track operational KPIs, including on-time delivery, quality assurance, shrinkage, same-day fulfillment, and unit economics (pick/pack/decoration cost per unit).

• Lead capacity planning across labor and space as facilities scale from ~10K to 50K+ square feet and from 0 to 20K+ units per day.

• Establish operating rhythms, reporting cadences, and scorecards to support rapid growth and operational excellence.

This role directly manages:

• Hong Kong Operations Manager (decoration operations)

• Buena Park, CA Operations Manager (to be hired; US decoration operations)

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience building and scaling B2B warehouse or fulfillment operations in a high-growth environment.

• Experience managing operational budgets and negotiating with vendors and service providers.

• Experience overseeing multiple facilities, including rapidly scaling 10K–50K sq ft sites.

• Deep understanding of warehouse operations from frontline workflows to WMS/OMS systems integration.

• Strong systems thinker with experience partnering closely with Engineering on technical requirements.

• Hands-on operator with the ability to design scalable processes while managing daily execution.

• Comfortable working on-site in a warehouse environment five days per week.

• Strong focus on quality, customer experience, and on-time delivery performance.

Preferred:

• Experience managing operations across multiple countries.

• Experience with value-added services such as decoration, kitting, customization, or contract finishing.

• Experience building or scaling multi-tenant fulfillment models.

• Strong background in continuous improvement and unit economics optimization.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Quince is hiring a Operations Lead to launch and run our West Coast B2B decoration production operation. This is an in-person, on site role for a facility that will be open 5-7 days per week. You will report to the Sr. Mgr. of B2B Fulfillment to stand up a 5-10,000 foot decoration facility from scratch (embroidery, screen-printing, embossing) and own site performance including throughput, procurement, layout, training, cost, on-time delivery and quality. Your goal is to launch the decoration capability in 1 month and scale throughput to 10,000 units per day over the course of 6 months. 

You will lead supervisors and operators and partner with internal Ops and IT teams, plus 3PL, logistics, and regional third-party decorators, to scale capacity and build a stable operating model.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own performance of the West Coast B2B decoration operation, consistently hitting on-time SLA, quality, cost, and throughput targets.
• Hire, onboard, and lead the site team, and drive accountability through clear roles and KPIs
• Build weekly and daily production plans from demand forecasts, and adjust labor, workflows, and priorities to meet demand efficiently.
• Keep production unblocked by owning equipment uptime, maintenance coverage, vendor support, and materials/consumables readiness. 
• Run end-to-end production tracking for inbound, production, QA, and outbound in one system with accurate real-time status and minimal manual entry
• Manage procurement of all materials needed to run the site including thread, backing, ink, corrugate, packaging, etc. 
• Partner with IT, Ops, and 3PL teams to integrate production tracking with Quince OMS/WMS and automate status updates.
• Resolve issues quickly, including rush orders, delays, inventory shortages, defects, and damaged goods, and drive fixes to prevent repeats.
• Step in hands-on when needed to unblock work, cover gaps, and support the team during peaks or disruptions.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 6+ years in decoration, production, assembly, with a proven track record of launching programs and improving performance, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Hands-on understanding of decoration production and equipment (embroidery/print/heat transfer), including setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
• Skilled in identifying and resolving operational issues such as delays, inventory issues and discrepancies.
• Hands-on experience with WMS/OMS and production tracking tools, including systems integration and automation to reduce manual work.
• Clear communicator who can coordinate across 3PLs, vendors, and internal teams and keep stakeholders aligned under pressure. 
• Customer obsessed, with a deep care for the customer experience and attention to detail. 
• Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
