Responsibilities:

- Manage a group of highly skilled senior engineers by providing technical management, guidance, coaching, best practices and principles
- Active participation in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of software projects
- Responsible for resource planning, execution, and quality of the software delivered by the group
- Lead the group to build sophisticated products using cutting-edge technology stack. The products will be used by retail customers and internal business users.
- Work closely with various business stakeholders like Product Management Team, and other Engineering teams to drive the execution of multiple business strategies and technologies
- Act as a point of contact for TCO (total cost of ownership), managing and driving production defects & stability improvements to resolution

Skills required:

About the role
We’re looking for a Staff Data Engineer to help design and build our next-generation data platform from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll define core architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and partner closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to unlock data at scale.
If you enjoy building platforms (not just using them), making long-term technical bets, and mentoring strong engineers, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the foundational data platform that powers analytics, experimentation, and data products
- Establish best practices for data modeling, orchestration, testing, and observability
- Build and optimize data infrastructure on AWS (storage, compute, networking, security)
- Partner with stakeholders across Product, Analytics and Engineering to translate business needs into robust data solutions
- Drive technical decisions around performance, cost optimization, and data quality
- Mentor and guide other data engineers, raising the bar for technical excellence across the team
- Own critical systems end-to-end and participate in long-term platform roadmap planning
- Ensuring operational efficiency and actively participating in organizational initiatives with the objective of ensuring the highest customer value.
Must Have:
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Spark, Python, and SQL in production environments
- Experience designing and operating large-scale data systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Deep understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, and performance tuning
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architecture across teams

- Experience with Trino (or similar distributed SQL query engines)
- Experience using dbt for data transformations and modeling

THE ROLE
Software Development Engineer - 3 (Backend)
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer - 3 (Backend) to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of highly scalable, reliable backend systems that power our core products. You will solve complex technical challenges, drive architectural decisions, and play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the team.
Success in this role means delivering robust, high-performance systems at scale, proactively identifying and solving ambiguous problems, and influencing engineering excellence across teams. You will also mentor engineers, drive best practices, and contribute to building a high-performing engineering culture. This position is critical to enabling scalable growth and supporting Quince’s mission of delivering exceptional quality at incredible value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient backend systems and services
- Own architectural decisions and drive system design for complex, high-scale distributed systems
- Identify and solve deeply complex technical challenges related to scalability, performance, and reliability
- Define and drive short-term and long-term technical strategy for backend systems
- Establish and enforce high standards for code quality, system design, and engineering best practices
- Review and guide design and code across teams to ensure consistency and excellence
- Mentor and develop engineers across levels, fostering a strong engineering culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, infra) to drive end-to-end delivery of impactful solutions

Qualifications:
- Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design

- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling at scale
- Proven experience in designing fault-tolerant, highly available systems
- Ability to drive architecture and influence technical decisions across teams

THE ROLE
Apparel - Sourcing Manager, Women's Sweaters
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Sourcing Manager to build and lead our Women's Sweaters function. This person will be tasked with identifying and onboarding new vendor partners from scratch. The role will focus primarily on Women's Sweaters category with potential expansion into other categories.
This is a rare opportunity to own and build a sourcing operation in a high-impact category. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of category manufacturing, strong vendor relationships (or the ability to cultivate them), and the operational rigor to scale new supply chains that deliver on cost, quality, and lead time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scout for vendor partners in ISC who can manufacture high quality Women's Sweaters products with fast production lead time
- Pitching and on-boarding vendor partners in speed. This should be done with clear criteria around the initial test period and ensuring their ability to scale, if the test period is successful.
- Drive excellence in partner operations for existing supplier relationships within current Quince categories, while expanding a redundant supplier base improving Quince's product costs, quality, and commercial terms for sustainable sales and profitability
- Manage capacity at a supplier and style level to keep pace with company growth and scale
- Material Sourcing: Resource in speed any materials that can effectively improve product cost, quality and speed as options for scaling order. Have experience negotiating with suppliers throughout the supply chain from T1 to T2 & T3 (as needed) mill/ vendor partners.
- Open costing expertise: Have solid open costing breakdown experience from brand or manufacturer side to build a clear strategy for costing negotiations; able to construct a validated cost structure/ template to negotiate with vendor partners without relying on vendor data only.
- Act as an Ambassador to our partners in all interactions, building and deepening our relationships Continuous improvement
- Drive for higher hit-rate launches (reviews, returns, sales) through product excellence and drive for faster development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions
- Have a clear strategic, commercial understanding of the sourcing landscape and trade benefits that can improve product costs and speed of product to market destined for the USA, Canada, and Europe as an asset.
- Lead at 30,000 ft and 3000 ft involving a diverse set of stakeholders from different functions and nationalities. Be willing to be scrappy at times to improve on existing ways of working and redefining new processes and SOP for faster speed and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 10 year + sourcing and merchandising experience in Women’s apparel categories with high-end national brands in the United States & Europe specifically in Women's Sweaters.
- Consumer focused and ambitious individual providing strategic leadership and act as a role model in business with self assurance, pride, and passion that exudes personal and professional impact

THE ROLE
Staff Engineer (Backend)
We’re looking for a Staff Engineer (Backend) to join our engineering organization. In this role, you will drive the architecture, scalability, and reliability of critical backend systems across multiple teams. You will operate at a strategic level, influencing technical direction, solving highly complex problems, and enabling teams to build robust, high-performing systems.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will drive complex technical programs to support our expansion into new global markets. THE ROLE
Senior Analyst - Accounting
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with a strong interest in systems, data flows, and operational finance.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and product workflows. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys digging into the “why” behind numbers, understanding how data moves through systems, and ensuring financial accuracy through structured processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, use internal BI tools, analyse invoice-level cost structures, and support improvements in our financial workflows. Success in this role means enabling accurate vendor cost accounting, strengthening controls, and contributing to a scalable, systems-driven finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Own the system-driven vendor billing review process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyse invoice data, reconcile charges with internal system reports (BI dashboards, operational data, etc.).
- Understand how cost components (fulfilment, adjustments, duties, tariffs, etc.) flow through financial and operational systems.
- Identify data mismatches across systems and raise structured tickets for resolution.
- Work closely with Product, Sourcing, Quality, and Ops to understand upstream data and resolve discrepancies.
- Build strong documentation and strengthen internal controls around vendor cost flows.
- Support system enhancements by providing finance inputs on workflows, exceptions, and edge cases.
- Maintain audit readiness through accurate reconciliations and robust documentation.
- Contribute to month-end processes for cost accuracy and vendor payment readiness.
- Continuously explore opportunities to automate and streamline the invoice validation process.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–4 years of work experience.
- Strong conceptual understanding of accounting, cost structures, and controls.
- Experience in US GAAP, IFRS, indirect taxation, particularly concerning tariffs and matters related to indirect tax.
- Strong interest in systems, processes, BI reports, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel; comfort with large datasets and system-generated files.
