Business Development Representative (Remote - East Coast Only)

We are building a world-class go-to-market organization, and the BDR role is central to that. You will generate and qualify pipeline for our Account Executive team, directly contributing to revenue growth. Success here accelerates a sales career quickly.

What will I be doing?
- Own your pipeline number. You are accountable for qualified opportunities created, not just dials made.
- Manage a multi-channel outreach process across calls, email, LinkedIn, and video. Volume matters, but conversion matters more.
- Use AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach at scale, and find better angles faster. This is a real expectation, not a nice-to-have.
- Qualify rigorously. A well-qualified opportunity is worth more than three that waste an AE's time.
- Collaborate actively with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Marketing. Share what you are hearing in the market. Flag patterns. Contribute to what the team learns collectively.
- Attend team meetings, training, and call reviews with genuine engagement. The best BDRs are students of the craft.
- You’re self-disciplined, accountable, and reliable.
- Bring your ideas. If you see a better approach, say so.
What skills do I need?
- 1+ years of BDR or sales development experience
- Track record of hitting targets, not just working hard
- Experience in SaaS or a technical industry preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication. You write well and adapt your message to the audience.
- Experience using AI productivity tools and genuinely curious about how to use them better
- Organized, disciplined, and reliable. You follow through.
- Collaborative by nature. You share credit, ask for help, and make the team better.

Qualio is seeking a Manager, Customer Success to lead and develop a high-performing team of Customer Success Managers. This role drives customer retention and expansion within an assigned portfolio while delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to company growth.

- Lead, coach, and hold a team of Customer Success Managers accountable to performance expectations
- Drive customer retention by monitoring churn signals and implementing proactive engagement strategies

What will I be doing?
- Refine and deeply understand customer problems — synthesising existing feedback, customer interviews, and usage data into clear problem definitions and confident solution proposals.
- Lead solution design in close collaboration with Engineering, from early concepts through to shipped products.
- Demonstrate compelling and confident storytelling that surfaces assumptions and difficult decisions but also aligns stakeholders around solutions. A large portion of your job is inspiring and driving work.
- Work within a supported structure alongside a Staff Product Manager, taking ownership of problems and driving them through solution design and delivery across different product areas as the team's needs evolve.
- Grow into taking on broader problem spaces and contributing to roadmap planning across product areas — balancing near-term customer pain relief with longer-term strategic solutions.
- Work collaboratively across EPD, and with key partners in Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Sales
What skills do I need?
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment – experience or strong interest in highly-regulated industries, life-science, or "service design" (i.e. technology-powered and human-powered aspects working together) preferred.
- A passion for delivering effective and elegant products and services that solve customer problems, especially high-quality UX and solid platform architectures
- Ability to engage directly with customers for discovery interviews, user research, feedback collection, and validation of product concepts and prototypes
- Strong product design skills with ability to create wireframes, user flows, and work collaboratively on design solutions that solve customer problems
- An approachable and collaborative working style with a rigorous mindset and eagerness to learn and grow
- Experience planning and managing successful launch and adoption of work, not just building and deploying it.
- Fluent in working in agile development environments – we aren't ideological about process but we are definitely not waterfall.
- Experience with AI – understanding of AI/ML capabilities and limitations, experience integrating AI features into products, familiarity with AI tools and workflows, and ability to communicate AI value propositions to stakeholders
- Preferred experience with product analytics – proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Datadog, Quicksight), ability to set up tracking and measurement frameworks, experience analyzing user behavior data to inform product decisions.
- Preferred experience in a medical device, SaMD, or other highly regulated industry (e.g. pharma, biotech)

What's the opportunity?
Pipeline generation is at the heart of Qualio’s growth strategy. We are shifting to a full-funnel, AI-native demand engine that supports three distinct motions: net new platform, expansion into the installed base, and servicing the next generation of pharma, biotech and medical device companies
The Director of Demand Generation owns that engine. You design the programs, run the channels, and drive the pipeline coverage that the revenue org depends on. You work in close partnership with the BDR team, RevOps, Product Marketing, and Sales to make sure every motion is coordinated and every budget dollar is traceable to pipeline impact.
This is not a role for someone who runs campaigns. It is a role for someone who builds systems, thinks in funnels, experiments relentlessly, and treats AI as infrastructure, not a feature.
What will I be doing?
- Manage a team to build and run a full-funnel demand engine with AI at its core. Design programs that cover all three sales motions: net new platform, installed base expansion, and enterprise. Every workflow you build starts with the question of where AI can remove friction, increase throughput, or surface signal earlier. You do not add AI on top of existing processes. You redesign the process with AI as a foundational input, and you document the before and after so others can follow.
- Partner with the BDR team to drive outbound pipeline quality. You provide ICP-fit targeting, campaign context, intent signals, and qualification intelligence that makes their outreach sharper. You work with the BDR team on scoring logic, sequence strategy, and the feedback loop between outbound activity and pipeline outcomes. When outbound is not working, you figure out why together.
- Run structured experiments and build a learning culture. You treat every channel as a hypothesis. You set up tests with clear success criteria, document outcomes whether they work or not, and make it easy for the rest of the team to learn from what you build. You are comfortable killing programs that do not perform.
- Own channel strategy and budget allocation. You have managed paid, organic, outbound, content syndication, and events channels simultaneously. You make investment decisions from contribution data. You use signal-based outbound tools such as Clay and intent data platforms, not broadcast sequences.
- Build and maintain attribution infrastructure. Work with RevOps to keep pipeline attribution clean and trusted. CAC payback and channel contribution are metrics you can speak to in any conversation, not just reporting cycles. The GTM team should have real-time pipeline visibility every week, and you are accountable for that data being accurate and acted on.
- Model AI adoption for the broader team. You do not just use AI yourself. You build workflows that others can follow, document what works, and actively help the demand gen function and BDR team raise their own AI fluency. You bring the same experimental energy to AI adoption that you bring to pipeline programs.
What skills do I need?
- Pipeline ownership track record. You have been accountable for a pipeline number, not a lead number. You can talk about coverage ratios, conversion rates by stage, what drove pipeline in each period, and what you changed when it was not working. You have managed multiple channels simultaneously and made budget decisions from contribution data, not intuition.
- AI-first operating mindset. You think about demand generation in terms of systems and workflows and treat AI as a design constraint, not an add-on. You have used AI tooling to materially change how campaigns are built, how leads are scored, how sequences are personalized, or how performance is reported. You can name specific tools, describe specific changes, and quantify the impact. You are not catching up on AI. You are running experiments with it now.
- B2B SaaS background with life sciences advantage. You know the difference between a practitioner buyer and an executive buyer. Direct experience in life sciences, compliance, or regulatory tech is a meaningful advantage. If you do not have it, you demonstrate you ramp fast in technical or compliance-driven markets.

As a Senior Talent Partner at Qualio, you’ll be the architect of how we attract, engage, and hire the humans who power our mission. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting across our teams, with reach across the US, EU , and beyond, and play an active role in shaping how Qualio builds talent for FY27 and beyond.
This is a role for someone who sees recruiting as a discipline, not a function. You’ll build strategy, run JEDI-informed sourcing campaigns, leverage AI tools to stay ahead of the market, and show up as a true business partner to hiring managers who need more than a recruiter, they need a talent advisor.
You’ll work async-first in a globally distributed environment where your communication and judgment matter more than your proximity to anyone’s timezone. You'll be joining a People Ops team of four - including a recruiter you'll work in close tandem with. This isn't a solo function; it's a real partnership. You'll share context, split the req load strategically, and build something together. What will I be doing?
Full-Cycle Recruiting & Candidate Experience
- Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and leadership roles [Director and above] across functions in the US and EU, delivering a high-quality, human-centered candidate experience at every stage
- Conduct thoughtful, sophisticated candidate interviews grounded in work psychology, assessing motivational fit, values alignment, and GWC (Get it, Want it, Capacity to do it) alongside technical skills
- Serve as a skilled problem solver and facilitator through final negotiations, acting as a trusted bridge between Talent and Qualio
Recruiting Strategy, Headcount Planning & JEDI
- Design and own a proactive recruiting strategy that balances short-term hiring velocity with long-term pipeline health, including geo strategy, sourcing channel prioritization, and role-level market intelligence
- Partner with Finance and People Ops on headcount planning as an active contributor, not an order taker. You bring recruiting intelligence to the table: capacity timelines, market conditions, geo constraints, and realistic hiring forecasts that help the business make smarter decisions before a req ever opens
- Lead Qualio’s JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) sourcing campaigns, building diverse slates as a default, not an afterthought, and reporting on progress with real data
- Partner with hiring managers as a strategic advisor from intake through offer, bringing calibration support, market insights, and honest counsel when the slate or the brief needs adjusting
- Design and own recruiting processes for complex, multi-stakeholder searches, where multiple hiring partners, cross-functional interviewers, or external agencies are involved. You don’t let complexity become chaos: you build the framework, set expectations, and keep everyone aligned
- Actively drive employer branding campaigns in partnership with Marketing and People Ops, owning content ideas, social presence, conference storytelling, and candidate-facing messaging that makes Qualio genuinely stand out. You don’t wait for the brand to build itself
- Represent Qualio at industry conferences, virtual events, and talent communities, acting as an employer brand ambassador in the spaces where our future hires are already spending time
- Manage external recruiting agencies when we partner on a search
Compensation benchmarking
- Build and maintain compensation benchmarking tools that are reliable, scalable, and grounded in real market data, not one-off spreadsheets that only the person who built them can read. Partners with Finance and People Ops to ensure benchmarks stay current across geographies (US, EMEA, APAC), are structured for repeatable use across role levels, and can actually support a comp conversation without needing a 30-minute explainer attached to them.
AI-Powered Recruiting & Modern Practices
- Embrace and champion AI-powered recruiting tools as a core part of how you work - not as a nice-to-have. If there’s a new platform worth evaluating, you’re already in the beta
- Actively explore emerging tools and platforms, sourcing tech, AI assistants, scheduling automation, candidate engagement tools, with genuine curiosity. You pilot, you assess, and you bring back a real verdict, not just a slide about it
- Build sourcing agents, automated outreach workflows, and recruiting artifacts that increase speed and quality without sacrificing the human touch
- Continuously evaluate and optimize our recruiting tech stack, LinkedIn Hiring Assistant, Greenhouse, sourcing platforms, and bring recommendations for what’s worth adding (and what’s worth cutting)
- Document your AI experiments and best practices so the broader People Ops team benefits from what you learn
Onboarding & People Operations Collaboration
- Contribute to onboarding activities in partnership with People Ops, bridging the gap between the offer stage and the employee experience, because hiring doesn’t end when the offer is signed
- Partner with the broader People Ops team to ensure every search accounts for holistic team composition, values fit, and long-term org needs
- Maintain rigorous Greenhouse hygiene: documentation, scorecard follow-up, req updates, and reporting that gives the team real-time visibility into recruiting health
What skills do I need?
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with meaningful depth across functions, ideally in high-growth SaaS or deep tech environments
- Demonstrated experience recruiting across global markets (US and EU required), with a clear understanding of how candidate expectations, compensation norms, and interview culture differ by geography
- Genuine fluency with AI-powered recruiting tools, you’ve already used them, you have opinions about them, and you’re excited to push further
- Experience building and executing JEDI-informed sourcing strategies and diverse candidate slates, with the data to back it up
- Strong proficiency with modern ATS systems, Greenhouse experience is a strong plus
