About The Role: 

Pomelo Care is seeking a Senior Brand Designer for our in-house creative team. You will design creative, compelling, and effective visual communications to elevate brand storytelling that builds brand equity and powers creative campaigns across owned and paid channels.

A great candidate will champion collaboration and communication and be an advocate for innovative creative execution, strategy, and iteration. You will provide creative solutions and subject matter expertise informed by strategic and cultural insights, brand positioning, business goals, and an up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape. You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and with frequent context-switching: going from design concepting and execution to representing the Creative Team in cross-functional meetings. You are an advocate for groundbreaking creative and design.

What You'll Do: 

• Concept and execute design solutions that communicate topics strategically, intuitively, and creatively across evergreen Marketing and campaign initiatives. 
• Collaborate with copywriters and designers to execute design work that delivers on the brief while maintaining quality and consistency at scale.
• See projects through the entire design process; from creative concept to iterations of mockups, visual guideline creation, rounds of production and vendor feedback, finished creative assets and final production files.
• Works collaboratively with Brand and Marketing team members to execute creative solutions within the allocated time and budget.
• Partner with and present to key stakeholders cross functionally (including Product, Marketing, and Growth), as well as within our Brand team to deliver creative solutions that consistently innovate, delight customers, and exceed business objectives.
• Contribute to the evolution of our brand by exploring unique ideas, production processes, approaches, methods, and solutions.
• Ensure thoughtful visual consistency and quality across multiple areas of work by resolving ambiguity, sharing progress, providing critique, and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and cultural moments that fuel creative brand expression.

Who You Are:

• 6+ years of experience in related design roles at agencies, studios, or in-house.
• A portfolio that shows strong conceptual and technical design skills applied across a range of deliverables, including technical 2D animation expertise.
• Fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite & Figma.
• Fluent in After Effects and other applicable motion software.
• Experienced in creating compelling visuals across various brand touchpoints including digital experiences, performance marketing channels, social media content, out of home, and more that elevates and evolves brand aesthetics.
• Experienced in core design fundamentals including typography, composition, color theory, and brand guidelines with great attention to detail and consistency.
• Experienced providing creative partnership to illustration and motion graphics production vendors pre-post production.
• Proactivity, clear communicator, and problem solver that can anticipate questions, independently assess solutions, and think critically and creatively.
• Supremely organized and exercise stellar time-management skills.
• Confident and collaborative creator that inspires others to come together on a common goal.

Given that this role is open to candidates of different skill levels, determining a salary range is challenging. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $145,000 to $155,000 plus an annual bonus. About The Role: 

As the Head of Member Growth and Engagement, you will serve as the primary architect and operator of our revenue engine, owning the entire member lifecycle from lead identification through long-term retention. We are looking for a leader who balances the tactical precision needed to hit monthly revenue targets with the strategic vision to re-engineer our enrollment and retention journeys. In this role, you will collaborate across marketing, tech, and operations to unlock step-change improvements in performance and build a world-class member growth and engagement organization.

This role reports to our VP of Marketing and can be based anywhere in the continental US. 

What You'll Do: 

• Orchestrate the end-to-end member growth and retention strategy, aligning cross-functional roadmaps to drive step-change improvements in business performance.
• Own the P&L-defining metrics of the business, including Enrollment Rate, LTV:CAC, and Monthly Retention.
• Partner with Strategic Finance to model performance inputs and establish long-term enrollment and engagement targets.
• Architect the end-to-end member journey, identifying high-impact engagement touchpoints and implementing automated interventions to mitigate churn.
• Translate annual financial goals into rigorous monthly and weekly operational plans to ensure the business is always paced to exceed revenue targets.
• Maintain a high-fidelity feedback loop with the executive team, providing transparent reporting on KPIs, campaign performance, and revenue pacing.
• Directly oversee a multi-disciplinary team across Outreach, Lifecycle Marketing, and Marketing Operations to foster a high-performance, data-driven culture.
• Identify and diagnose performance gaps in real-time, deploying rapid-response tactics to protect in-month revenue and retention targets.
• Influence the technical roadmap for CRM and marketing automation to ensure the organization has the precision instrumentation required for scale.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to co-author roadmaps and define KRs, ensuring technical resources are prioritized against commercial impact and that teams are held accountable for moving the needle on growth and retention metrics.

Who You Are:

• 10+ years of experience with at least 4+ years in senior leadership within subscription models, operating with a P&L owner’s mindset and total bottom-line accountability.
• Can quantify every action, treating a 1% shift in retention as a critical financial lever rather than just a marketing metric.
• Possess the technical depth to partner with Product and Engineering to architect the infrastructure your revenue engine requires.
• Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategy and granular data, diagnosing root causes quickly and doing the math to ensure goals are reachable.
• A proven leader of multi-disciplinary teams who influences cross-functional roadmaps to unlock step-change growth.
• Ability to thrive on owning a number and proactively deploy tactics to close performance gaps before they impact the quarter.
• Comfortable balancing growth-hungry urgency with a deep respect for product integrity and the long-term member experience.

Role Description

Your North Star: Drive the zero-to-one launch of Pomelo's newest women's health offering by building a best-in-class lifecycle and retention program that inspires deep patient trust and long-term engagement. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Own day-to-day execution of all lifecycle channels and the overarching retention marketing strategy for our newest venture
• Build the 0-to-1 testing engine for retention, creating and optimizing automated messaging journeys to ensure new patients stay engaged with our expanding health offerings
• Collaborate with Clinical and Operations teams to identify friction points and develop initiatives that increase Lifetime Value (LTV), quality of care, and patient satisfaction
• Partner closely with the Head of Growth to ensure a seamless full-funnel experience, bridging the gap between new patient acquisition and long-term adherence
• Synthesize data and qualitative insights from our new patient cohorts to drive fast, efficient learning and optimize the end-to-end funnel
• Collaborate with Clinical teams to ensure all lifecycle communications reflect our evidence-based care model and build trust in these sensitive new categories

Who you are

• 2-5 years of experience in DTC lifecycle marketing, ideally with experience in a 0-to-1 growth environment where you’ve had to build and scale channels from scratch
• ‘Hands-on-keyboard’ expert who has owned and operated email and SMS channels at a sizable business (e.g., ~6-figure revenue) with a heavy emphasis on retention and subscription
• A builder who thrives in ambiguity, moving quickly from idea to test while balancing brand building with short-term performance needs
• Strong balance of ‘right brain’ and ‘left brain’ — you enjoy balancing creative ideation with data-driven decision making
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive alignment across cross-functional and external partners

Bonus points if you have any of the following

• Familiar with Braze, with experience building complex logic or multi-channel flows
• Background in women’s health or another highly regulated category
