At point72, the Data Management function sits at the heart of Operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all reference data that powers our global trading and reporting systems. We manage security master data, resolve discrepancies and support trading and operational processes across the Firm. WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Maintain and manage the firm’s global security master and the full universe of reference data.
• Create and update operational reference data used in trading and downstream systems - including trading/custodial accounts, broker codes, commission rates and legal entity details.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pricing and data issues raised by the Trading Desk with urgency.
• Work with Trade Support and Technology to investigate and remediate trade flow errors.  
• Partner with stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Compliance, Stock Loan, Legal, Risk, Financial Reporting, Tax, Regulatory Reporting and Technology to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Technology to design, test, and deploy system enhancements.  
• Identify and drive automation initiatives to increase straight-through processing and operational efficiency.

WHAT’S REQUIRED 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, mathematics or related field
• 5-10 years of operations experience at a hedge fund or financial industry

BACK OFFICE OPERATIONS MANAGER

A CAREER WITH POINT72’S BACK OFFICE OPERATIONS TEAM

At Point72, the Back Office Operations team is responsible for the daily reconciliation of all cash balances in Point72’s accounting system to prime brokers on a T+1 basis. The team is responsible for ensuring that all bookings, trade and non-trade related activities are recorded accurately and appropriately. In addition, this team is responsible for reference data maintenance and management.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Serve as the founding hire and leader of a newly established reconciliations and operational control function, with full ownership to recruit, develop, and manage a team
• Design and implement a scalable operating model to support a global, fast paced investment organization, including coverage, controls, escalation paths, and service-level standards.
• Own and oversee daily reconciliations; supervise issue investigation and resolution and ensure timely resolution of breaks.
• Establish performance management frameworks, including KPIs, quality metrics, and continuous improvement processes to measure team effectiveness and operational excellence.
• Partner closely with Technology to define requirements, design, test, and deploy system enhancements; improve existing workflows; and build new processes to streamline and automate reconciliations.
• Work closely with prime brokers, custodians, administrators, and other third parties to timely resolve breaks.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex breaks, working directly with counterparties and internal stakeholders to drive resolution.
• Identify, prioritize, and deliver automation and straight through processing initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and control.
• Build strong partnerships across Trading, Compliance, Stock Loan, Legal, Risk, Financial Reporting, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology to resolve issues and enhance end to end operational outcomes.
• Embed a strong control mindset, ensuring processes meet regulatory, audit, and internal risk management standards.

WHAT’S REQUIRED?

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred)
• 15+ years of Operations experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or fund administrator, including demonstrated leadership and ownership of complex operational functions.
• Strong product knowledge across equities, futures, equity swaps, FX, derivatives, and fixed income instruments.
• Proven experience building, scaling, and managing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Advanced technical aptitude, with the ability to partner effectively with Technology and drive system and process improvements.
• Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to operate with urgency and sound judgment.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills in a high volume, deadline driven environment.
• Highly detail oriented, proactive, and self directed, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Hands-on leader capable of operating at different organizational levels
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.

International Trade Support Associate

What you’ll do

• Perform daily reconciliations across multiple asset classes, including equities, options, CFDs, fixed income securities, derivatives, repos, FX, and futures.
• Conduct position verification by confirming and reconciling positions with prime brokers and trading counterparties.
• Manage corporate actions by reviewing, verifying, and processing both mandatory and voluntary events.
• Handle issue resolution by partnering with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and counterparties to resolve trade-related discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Ensure data integrity by maintaining and updating security data during European trading hours.
• Provide client service by responding to ad hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders.

What’s REQUIRED

• 3+ years of experience in middle‑office operations, trade support or related functions within a financial institution
• Strong working knowledge of financial instruments, Bloomberg, and corporate actions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams and global offices
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast‑changing environment

A Career with Point72’s Private Credit Trade Support team

Point72’s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets.

What you’ll do

• Set up and maintain end‑to‑end operational support for private credit assets, including creation and maintenance of static and reference data.
• Design, enhance, and implement robust workflows, processes, and control frameworks; maintain documentation of operational procedures and control standards.
• Partner cross-functionally to create an operational platform that supports the full lifecycle of private credit transactions.
• Manage the front‑to‑back lifecycle of loan investments, including trade entry, lifecycle event processing, monitoring and reconciling trade activity and cash flows across direct lending, syndicated loans, broadly syndicated loans (BSLs), CLOs, SRTs, and other private credit products (consumer, real estate, specialty finance, music royalties, etc.).
• Verify and reconcile all positions, accruals, and activity between borrowers, third‑party loan servicers, custodians, agents, and our internal general ledger.
• Review deal documentation and support closing workflows, including funding coordination, cash movement oversight, covenant tracking, and other deal‑specific requirements.
• Support liquidity management by preparing and updating cash forecasts, coordinating with Treasury on funding needs, and ensuring timely execution of incoming and outgoing cash flows.
• Support leverage and financing workflows by monitoring reporting, tracking accruals and payments, and managing credit facilities and credit counterparties.
• Work closely with investment professionals, investment services teams, and external platforms/loan servicers to resolve discrepancies related to trades, positions, interest calculations, amortization schedules, or cash activity.
• Drive continuous improvement of team processes through automation and by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and control.

What’s required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged loans, syndicated loans, structured credit operations, or loan administration.
• Strong knowledge of direct lending structures, syndicated loan mechanics, CLOs, SRTs, and broader private credit markets.
• Working knowledge of Geneva and a solid understanding of accounting for private credit transactions such as accruals, PIK interest, fee amortization, OID, waterfalls, cash movements, and P&L recognition.
• Familiarity with loan settlement processes, agency communications, and trade affirmation platforms such as ClearPar with an understanding of LSTA/LMA documentation standards.
• Experience in International Private Credit deals.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v‑lookups, macros) and experience with portfolio, risk management, or loan servicing systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable collaborating across teams and engaging with external servicers, agents, and counterparties.
• Experience supporting new workflows, system builds, or operational scaling within a growing private credit platform.
