The Team Lead, Course Development is responsible for leading the creation of high-quality technical training content for Ping Identity’s customer courses, certifications, and workshops, while coaching a local team of course developers.

You will create engaging, technically accurate learning materials that explain Ping Identity product capabilities and features to developers, system integrators, and system administrators worldwide. Combining hands-on course development with people leadership to ensure consistent quality, technical depth, and learning effectiveness across the curriculum.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Certification and Curriculum Development and coaches a local team of course developers.

Responsibilities

Technical Course Development

• Collaborate with and become a Ping Identity Subject Matter Expert to design and develop engaging, hands-on, task-based training materials for specific technical audiences.
• Develop comprehensive student training guides, lab exercises, assessment items, and instructor teaching aids, with guidance on delivery modalities (instructor-led, e-learning, video, or virtual).
• Build and configure Ping Identity products to support realistic lab environments, ensuring steps and configurations are clearly documented.
• Test and refine training deliverables (labs, guides, presentations) to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Maintain and enhance existing content, making necessary adjustments and releasing timely updates, including incorporating learner feedback from survey results.
• Take ownership and manage assigned course projects or components, while contributing to larger team initiatives.
  
  

Team Coaching

• Lead and coach a local team of course developers, supporting skill development, technical growth, and career progression.
• Provide regular feedback and content reviews to support consistent quality and learning standards.
• Support onboarding and ongoing development of new course developers.
• Foster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture across a distributed environment.

Curriculum Quality and Standards

• Establish and reinforce best practices for technical accuracy, instructional quality, and content consistency.
• Review and approve curriculum deliverables produced by the team, providing constructive guidance and technical direction.
• Support the adoption of instructional design principles and learning standards across the curriculum.
  
  

Learner and Instructor Enablement

• Provide expert technical guidance in response to complex learner or instructor enquiries related to courses you support.
• Assist authorised instructors by clarifying course materials and supporting effective delivery.
• Deliver or support Train-the-Trainer, Alpha, or Beta sessions for courses where you are the curriculum lead.
• Contribute to technical marketing and enablement initiatives (FAQs, webinars, videos) in collaboration with the Training team.
  
  

Collaboration and Alignment

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Training stakeholders to ensure curriculum reflects current and upcoming product capabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Engineering preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years experience in technical training course development, including hands-on development of virtual labs.
• Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or managing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities of software developers, integrators, and system administrators.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, and content structuring skills.
• Strong organisational and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with system administration (Windows, Linux/UNIX), TCP/IP networking, load balancing, REST APIs, virtual/cloud machines, and network security concepts (SSL/TLS).

• Experience in instructional design and simplifying complex technical topics into effective learning experiences.
• Ability to review content from a learner’s perspective and provide constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with training authoring tools (iSpring, Markdown, MindNode).
• Prior experience delivering technical training as an instructor or curriculum lead.
• Knowledge of Ping Identity products or equivalent IAM platforms.
• Exposure to identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, LDAP) and cloud environments.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Awareness of DevOps practices (automation, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 8-12+ years of proven experience in a presales solution architect role
• At least 5+ years of proven experience in three or more of the following industries: Banking, Insurance, Telco, Government, Retail, Media and other industries with a large-scale customer base
• Business consultative skills, ability to interface with various levels including C-suite, directors, managers, architects, developers, and engineering teams
• Ability to work with a high level of self-direction and/or collaboratively with other teams within Ping Identity

We are looking for a highly technical Marketing Technology Engineer to serve as the backend and DevOps backbone of our Marketing Operations team. This role sits within Platform Operations, where you will build and maintain the systems, integrations, automations, and guardrails that enable Campaign Operations and Demand Gen teams to function efficiently. You will translate process requirements into scalable, well-documented technical solutions while focusing on APIs, data models, and automation. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, SLAs, and data integrity. This hands-on engineering position is essential for making the entire marketing engine more scalable, predictable, and efficient.

You will:

• Administer and optimize key marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, 6Sense, RingLead, and attribution tools) with a focus on stability, governance, and security.
• Build and maintain API- and event-driven integrations between Marketo and other MarTech/SDR systems.
• Execute and automate data hygiene processes, including deduplication, normalization, and enrichment, to support lead routing accuracy.
• Implement intake and workflow automations to connect HelpDesk/Asana forms to platform actions, reducing manual cycle time and error risk.
• Build reusable technical assets, such as program templates and automation modules, and document technical runbooks and SOPs.
• Set up monitoring and alerting for key integrations and use DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD) to track and reduce production failure events.

You have:

• 4–7+ years in a technical role (Marketing Engineer, Integration Engineer, or similar) supporting enterprise B2B SaaS or complex go‑to‑market environments.
• Strong experience with APIs, webhooks, and integrations (REST/JSON, OAuth) and working with third-party SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Node.js, TypeScript) for automation and data manipulation.
• Solid SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases and/or cloud data warehouses.
• Practical experience with Salesforce and Marketo, along with an understanding of B2B funnel concepts like MQLs and lead routing.
• A high bar for data quality and the ability to diagnose issues across multiple systems to propose long-term technical fixes.

• You have experience with lightweight DevOps practices such as environment management and configuration-as-code.
