As a Staff Software Engineer within the Agentic Development Team, you are more than a coder; you are the technical cornerstone for our internal developer product. You will define the roadmap and technical vision, guiding your team to build an elegant, scalable, and secure AI tooling ecosystem for all engineering teams at OVO. Your role is pivotal in shaping the architecture of our Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, security controls, and plugin ecosystem. You'll lead by example, mentoring engineers, driving best practices, and fostering an environment where innovation and excellence can thrive.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will take technical ownership of the Agentic Development tooling layer (plugins, skills, MCP servers, observability). You will define the architectural vision, guide your team through complex challenges such as AI security and governance, and champion engineering excellence to deliver high-impact solutions that meet our business objectives. This is a key leadership role for an engineer who loves to strategise, code and mentor.
This role will involve working with multidisciplinary teams to embed agentic capabilities, so a deep understanding of LLMs, AI-based development workflows, and internal developer platforms is essential.

Sitting in Commercial, the CRM team is responsible for ensuring we maximise our relationships with our customers. This is core to OVO’s ambition to be Britain’s decarbonisation partner - helping us better understand our customers and take them on the path to zero carbon. CRM helps set customer strategies, communicate and engage with our existing customer base through designing customer interventions which are personalised, relevant, timely and across multiple channels.
This central role reports to the Head of CRM and leads on CRM data activity, outside of BAU reporting, to support appointment bookings, retention, product take-up, and engagement targets.

We’re looking for an exceptional Category Manager to drive the strategic management of the Cloud & Hardware procurement category supporting the Senior Category Manager. Your focus will align with OVO's Plan Zero ambitions, ensuring sustainable and ethical sourcing practices while achieving commercial success.
You’ll be reporting to the Senior Category Manager and will play a critical role in supporting change, delivering results, and setting the bar for ‘what good looks like’ across the team. You’ll also be working closely with stakeholders across the business to drive projects and supplier performance forwards. Your key area of focus from a Category Management perspective will be Cloud & Hardware, an essential underpinning of OVO’s business, enabling the delivery of a range of products and services to our customers. You will also be responsible for sourcing outside of the Cloud & Hardware category as and when necessary as we manoeuvre to deliver critical business partnership for our Tech colleagues and beyond.
