At a Glance:
Based out of our Melbourne Office, this Key Account Manager (KAM) role will manage the commercial interest of some larger growth partners for On Oceania. The role is strategic, entrepreneurial, omni-channel focused, and will form a major part of the growing Oceania Key Account and broader Sales teams. The KAM will define and deliver appropriate strategies to grow On with key partners in a profitable and sustainable way. The KAM will also ensure we deliver a unique consumer experience that maximises sell-through, category leadership and account share growth.

The KAM will work closely with a cross functional team including Tech, Marketing and Operations to develop and define the appropriate strategies for successful partnerships.

Most importantly the KAM must work for the best interest of our consumers, customers, team mates and the On brand.

This role is to be based in Melbourne.

Your mission

Proactively build and lead the strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, volume and profit targets, and critical milestones for sustainable growth.
Deliver the correct propositions, product and brand experiences, through a clear channel lens that’s authentic to On and true to the consumer.
Plan, prepare and execute seasonal GTM excellence.
Drive daily sales analytics to increase sell-in and sell-out.
Work cross functionally with other On teams to ensure deadlines are met and our promise of ease of business is met.
Be the lead person for maintaining all sales related budgets for the relevant accounts.
Add a questioning and supportive voice to the current KA and Sales Teams to drive improvements in team and account management performance.

Your story

Demonstrated successful track record and progression in a commercial or business environment.
Ability in building holistic strategic plans.
Ability to influence both cross functionally and vertically internal and external stakeholders.
A self-starter who can demonstrate the drive and ambition that fits with the On culture and pace of change!
Analytical mind coupled with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on their analysis.
PowerPoint presentation skills and the ability to deliver strong presentations to groups.
Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
Strong Interpersonal skills & demonstrable track record of good relationship building.

In Summary

The Area Lead is responsible for supporting multiple retail Store Leaders across Australia in guiding the business and people strategy to deliver premium consumer experience in the region. Through authentic connection, you will be the one to provide strategic direction, support building brand awareness and drive business growth and profitability in alignment with On’s mission to ignite the human spirit through movement. Through your strong inspirational leadership and guidance of Store Leaders, you foster a high-performance culture and promote employee engagement while developing a strong pipeline of talent to fuel our growth.

Your mission:

You will develop and own responsibility for the business & people strategies for your region, in steady state and looking 3-5 years out.
Set performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each location and monitor progress towards goals.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple locations within the region, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Manage the regional budget, forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs in collaboration with Store Leaders.
Enable Store Leaders to drive store operations in line with local and global priorities by providing them with the information, tools, resources, and support they need.
You will recruit, identify and nurture high-potential employees, preparing them for their future growth and leadership roles.
Support learning and development consistently and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to enhance individual and team performance.

Your story:

5+ years experience in a similar leadership role, with at least 5 year experience in multi-retail store management
You have experience managing the regional budget, forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
Travel Requirement: This position requires approximately 40% of travel time. The ability to travel independently and on a regular basis is essential

This is your opportunity to become a core part of On’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Store Retail team and assist in the successful launch and ongoing operations of On’s store in Sydney, Australia.

As a Lead Store Advisor, your passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive work environment for our team will be a core part of driving On’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) approach. On will rely on you to deliver exceptional customer service to each and every customer while embodying On’s core values and passion for movement.

- Continuously lead and communicate through On's values and brand philosophy in team and customer interactions
- Foundational cash handling expectations and standardized operating procedures – example; responsible for all cash transactions and opening and closing of tills, point of sale systems etc.
- Opening and closing store procedures and ensuring loss and prevention standards are followed
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of technical product information and stay up to date with On’s global activities and projects (e.g. sustainability efforts, athlete stories)
- Coach the team to ensure excellent standard of all technical product knowledge
- Contribute and streamline feedback to continuously improve store processes, customer engagement and team happiness in line with our company culture of radical candor
- Maintain the visual standards in the store to deliver a premium experience and optimize sell through strategy
- Lead and maintain exceptional stock room strategy and inventory management standards
- Create an inclusive workplace culture by treating all employees and customers with respect.

The Pillars: You will oversee a designated store area, of the following (Back of House, Visual Merchandising, Product, Community, or People), driving strategy implementation, monitoring execution and fostering team engagement to ensure success in the focus area.

- 2+ years of experience within a consumer-facing or retail work environment, preferably in a supervisory role
- Background in the Running, Fashion or Sports Industry is preferred, but not a must
- Strong communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Eye for maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and / or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning system) is preferred, but not required.
- Entrepreneurial spirit who expects the unexpected

Physical Demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, climbing stairs, and standing for consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
