Job Description
Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for aviation projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. This work will be in support of our airport clients and be focused on mostly work inside the fence in completion of planned capital improvement programs. Our construction services include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients’ specific FAA and project requirements.
We are looking for experienced Construction Administration personnel to join our team and support aviation projects across the Midwest. You will apply your diversified knowledge and experience to observe all phases of construction work, procedures, and verify conformance with plans, specifications, and standards. You will aid engineers, and construction managers with observation, inspection, and staking. You may work individually or as part of a larger team based upon project needs.
We have multiple positions available and will consider candidates located out of Kansas City, St Louis, Omaha, Lincoln, Tulsa, Springfield, Des Moines, Oklahoma City, Fayetteville, or Little Rock.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to provide essential office support to our Fayetteville office. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include responding to inquiries from both internal and external sources with standard correspondence, and directing inquiries to the appropriate individual or department as needed. You will manage data by collecting, reviewing, and updating it, as well as retrieving company records upon request and preparing records for archiving.

Job Description
Our transportation team delivers innovative solutions for highways, interchanges, arterial roadways, and municipal street systems that improve mobility, safety, and long-term community development.
As a Licensed Engineer (PE) on our Roadway team, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of roadway projects of varying size and complexity. You will contribute technical expertise while also supporting project management activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the planning and design of roadway projects, including urban and rural highways, interchanges, and municipal roadways.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents in accordance with client and regulatory standards (e.g., DOT guidelines).
- Perform and oversee design calculations, including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage considerations, and roadway geometrics.
- Develop cost estimates and assist with project budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (traffic, bridge, drainage, survey, and environmental) to deliver cohesive project solutions.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including participation in meetings and presentations.
- Support or lead project management efforts, including tracking progress, managing deliverables, and ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Conduct site visits and field observations to support design development and construction activities.

Our electrical design services can include power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.

Job Description
Our Airports team provides services for a variety of airport projects including paving, grading, buildings, airport lighting, and fuel systems. As a Senior Project Manager, you would be responsible for managing large projects and/or sophisticated, high-risk projects, and executing program management services for complex, multi-discipline projects for the firm. Responsibilities include contract negotiations, project staffing, mentoring, resource allocation, scope, schedule, project performance, and quality. The senior project manager builds and maintains positive client relationships for the firm while achieving project financial goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of large and complex airport design projects across the firm.

Join our team for a unique opportunity to work directly with one of the world's largest technology companies. As a BIM Specialist, you will collaborate with our electrical team to provide Revit modeling support. Your responsibilities include coordination with the BIM managers and electrical design team for maintaining BIM content for data center projects, utilizing professional tools and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will require the ability to multitask and work well with our team and a variety of people.
As a BIM Specialist, you will also provide support to the electrical team during various project milestones and in a variety of ways based on current demand. Olsson is looking for a motivated mid-to-senior level structural engineer to join our bridge and roadway team in either Fayetteville or Little Rock, AR. Our bridge group works on a wide range of projects including bridge and retaining walls, dams, storm and traffic structures, inspections, rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services. As the Principal Investigator you will plan, oversee, and support cultural resources investigations and overall responsibility for archaeological investigations. As an Associate Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects. You will independently collect construction materials samples from various construction sites and perform tests and inspections to assess the properties and integrity of those materials, using specialized equipment and following established procedures and standards. You will document your findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and maintaining the structural integrity and safety of construction projects.

Job Description
As a survey crew/party chief, you will engage in diverse survey tasks across various projects, including construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys. Working under the guidance of our professional land survey manager, you will apply your comprehensive understanding of field concepts, practices, and procedures to contribute to the success of the team.
This role also offers the opportunity to engage in project management responsibilities including project research, boundary calculations, and collaborate on project planning and coordination; enhancing your skills while ensuring the quality and precision of survey activities.
You work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

Job Description
Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for both public and private projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our construction services include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of diverse construction projects that include roadways, utility infrastructure, and water/sewer distribution systems. Job Description
Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects, along with municipal, industrial, sports, schools, and other site development types. As a Project Engineer, you will perform engineering and project management duties on land development projects, prepare planning and design documents, and meet client needs from conception to completion. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients. You may travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares planning and design documents in appropriate engineering discipline.
- Performs process design calculations, prepares cost estimates, and uses economic analyses for comparison of alternatives.
- Assists with or develops project scope of work or portions of it; assists with or develops project schedule or portions of it; assists with completion of initiation paperwork; assists with budget reviews and schedules progress reports.
- Coordinates projects with other Olsson teams; performs and coordinates design aspects of projects; directs team members on design tasks; maintains project records (correspondence, drawings, and files); informs project managers of progress and problems; coordinates with clients; attends client meetings.
- Assists with marketing/business development; may help write proposals.
- May serve as project manager on small projects.
- Independently performs assignments on complex projects.
- Coordinates assistant and associate professional staff and technical staff’s work; may supervise student or technical staff.
