Who We Are
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced CDD Operations Manager to lead onboarding verification operations across Institutional (KYB) and Retail (KYC) segments.
This role will primarily oversee Institutional (KYB) onboarding, with additional oversight and alignment responsibilities across Retail (KYC) onboarding to ensure consistency in regulatory standards, operational controls, and customer experience.
As the organization scales, this role may expand to manage global onboarding teams driving standardized processes, governance, and performance management across multiple jurisdictions.
You will work closely with Compliance, Risk, Fraud, Product, and regional stakeholders to strengthen onboarding controls, improve operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to AML/CFT and sanctions requirements globally.
This position reports directly to the Global KYC Operations Senior Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Operational Management

Lead and manage the onboarding verification team across Institutional (KYB) and, where applicable, Retail (KYC) workflows.

Ensure SLAs, quality standards, and regulatory obligations are consistently met.

Provide coaching, performance management, and training to build a high-performing team.
-
Act as escalation point for complex onboarding cases, including high-risk entity structures, PEPs and fraud-related referrals.
Onboarding Governance & Controls
-
Oversee end-to-end onboarding processes for both institutional and retail customers.
-
Drive standardization of CDD/EDD frameworks across KYB and KYC segments.
-
Develop and maintain robust policies, procedures, controls, and documentation standards.
-
Ensure periodic review and refresh processes meet regulatory and internal requirements.
Program & Process Optimization
-
Manage BAU onboarding operations and support migration or centralization initiatives where required.
-
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
-
Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to improve onboarding systems and automation.
-
Prepare and present onboarding metrics, KPIs, and risk dashboards to senior management.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement
-
Liaise with Compliance, Risk, Fraud, and Legal teams on onboarding matters.
-
Support regional MLRO on escalated AML or fraud cases.
-
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on onboarding risk assessments and regulatory standards.
-
Ensure customer data and documentation are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations and group policies.
Requirements
-
6–8+ years of experience in KYC/KYB and AML/CFT operations within financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency, with strong expertise in Institutional (KYB) onboarding.

Proven experience managing and developing onboarding or compliance operations teams, including SLA management, quality control, and performance oversight.
-
Deep knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, sanctions frameworks, and global regulatory standards, with familiarity of the UAE regulatory environment.
-
Strong hands-on experience reviewing complex corporate structures, identifying UBOs, assessing high-risk jurisdictions, and handling PEP and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) cases.

Demonstrated ability to act as an escalation point for complex, high-risk onboarding and fraud-related cases.
-
Experience developing, implementing, and standardizing CDD/EDD policies, procedures, and operational controls across multiple jurisdictions.
-
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience preparing KPIs, dashboards, and presenting onboarding risk metrics to senior management.

Experience driving process optimization, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements in onboarding workflows.
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Compliance, Risk, Fraud, Legal, Product, and Technology teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Contributing to designing, implementing, and maintaining internal compliance manuals, policies, procedures, and systems for combating money laundering and terrorism financing.

Supporting the MLRO in ensuring OKX UAE complies with its regulatory and legal responsibilities, including VARA Guidance and industry best practice

Supporting the ongoing monitoring and resolution of AML/CFT related cases

Assisting in responding to legal and regulatory requests

Liaising with law enforcement agencies and other external partners

Providing advice and guidance on AML/CFT related matters where appropriate

Preparing OKX UAE for independent AML/CTF and/or Compliance testing.

Engaging cross-functionally (with groups such as Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk) to implement an effective compliance management program in line with UAE standards and industry best practices.

What We Look For In You
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) is preferred.
- Proven experience in compliance management, including previous experience as an MLRO/ Deputy MLRO, preferably within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services industries.
- Proven experience in dealing with regulators and auditors on AML audit and/or investigations.
- Strong knowledge of AML, CTF, and data protection regulations, with a demonstrated ability to raise SARs to FIUs effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the capacity to interpret complex regulations and apply them effectively within the organization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management and remediation experience.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the crypto-industry, as well as the relevant risks;

Requirements

5+ years of experience in platform operations; crypto / Web3 experience strongly preferred

Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets (outside Mainland China)

About the Opportunity
Relationship Manager / VIP Accounts Manager (CIS) leads account management efforts within the VIP retail program in the CIS region. The Relationship Manager is expected to work closely with various stakeholders, including regional and global growth teams, product and engineering teams, and Business Intelligence teams, as well as effectively lead a team of regional sales. He/She will proactively nurture and enhance relationships with local key trading accounts, VIP accounts, being in contact with them frequently and building relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing

Primary point of contact for a number of actively trading VIP clients.

Expanding relationships with existing customers by sustained communication, understanding of their needs, supporting inquiries.

Support users to navigate OKX range of product offerings, VIP structure, and key updates and changes on the OKX platform and products.

Offer and manage VIP upgrades and various product configurations.

What We Look For In You

Account management experience in Cryptocurrency, Finance, FX, or any related space

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enthusiasm with a data-driven approach
