What You’ll Bring to The Team
- 3+ Years of experience in a mobile development role with a proven track record shipping and owning non-trivial iOS features in production.
- Expertise in Swift and Xcode IDE including the build system
- Robust knowledge of iOS development ecosystem, including core system libraries
- Proven experience building complex, high-quality iOS applications, and strong knowledge of iOS app design principles, architectural patterns, testing, and best practices
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly in writing (design docs, PR reviews, etc.) and verbally (cross-functional syncs)
- Strong motivation to continuously learn and share knowledge about new technologies and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing high-impact work and adapting strategies in real time.
- Thoughtful use of AI tooling in day-to-day engineering - knows when it helps and when it gets in the way.

Rewards

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $142,000 - $250,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.

- You will be part of a scrappy and impactful team building data-intensive products, working with data and features, building machine learning models, and sharing insights around data and experiments. The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $170,000 to $334,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. The salary range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

The Impact You’ll Make
As Commercial Counsel at Nextdoor, you’ll be both a trusted commercial lawyer and a systems builder. You'll support our global revenue team on advertising deals and partner with business teams on a range of commercial matters — but equally important, you'll design, build, and continuously improve the workflows, playbooks, templates, and AI-enabled tooling that allow a lean legal team to move at the speed of the business. You will also advise internal clients on the various legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial transactions and general operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel in commercial transactions for Nextdoor’s revenue team, global Marketing business partners, and commercial transaction support for other teams as required
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of contracts, including insertion orders with advertising clients and advertising agencies, contracts with partners in the online advertising ecosystem, strategic partnerships, and contracts and terms of service for promotions, influencers, and sponsorships
- Design and build scalable systems, workflows, and self-service resources that reduce legal bottlenecks, standardize contracting, and empower business teams to move faster without sacrificing quality or risk posture
- Identify, evaluate, pilot, and operationalize AI tools and emerging technologies across the contract lifecycle — from intake and triage to drafting, review, redlining, and post-signature management — and measure their impact
- Develop and maintain contract review playbooks, fallback position libraries, templates, clause banks, and negotiation guidance that enable consistent outcomes across the team and business partners
- Support internal clients through the art of deal making and contracting
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to ensure agreements — and the systems that produce them – are consistent with internal policies and processes
- Research and advise on issues related to doing business in foreign jurisdictions, and update contracts, processes, and legal positions accordingly
- Drive the development and maintenance of internal resources, including contract review playbooks and leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to implement best practices and increase team efficiency
- Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises
- Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor’s company culture
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with at least 1 year of in-house experience in a fast-paced and rapidly growing technology or digital media company and drafting and negotiating contracts supporting digital ads sales
- Demonstrated track record of building legal operations infrastructure in-house — e.g., CLM implementations, intake systems, playbook development, template libraries, self-serve contracting programs, or AI-driven review workflows. You should be able to point to specific systems you've designed and the measurable impact they had
- Hands-on experience deploying AI tools (contract review, drafting, summarization, knowledge retrieval) in a legal context — including the judgment to know where AI adds leverage and where it doesn't
- A builder's mindset: you see inefficiencies as design problems, you prototype and iterate, and you're comfortable owning tools and processes end-to-end rather than handing them off
- J.D. from a nationally recognized law school, admitted to any state bar
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience communicating and explaining complex legal issues to business partners
- Familiarity with data privacy laws, IP, and advertising business issues and how those play out within legal agreements and commercial relationships
- Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize and organize workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Ability to assess and manage risk — including the risk of over-engineering solutions or under-investing in scale

As Commercial Counsel at Nextdoor, you’ll be both a trusted commercial lawyer and a systems builder. You'll support our global revenue team on advertising deals and partner with business teams on a range of commercial matters — but equally important, you'll design, build, and continuously improve the workflows, playbooks, templates, and AI-enabled tooling that allow a lean legal team to move at the speed of the business. You will also advise internal clients on the various legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial transactions and general operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel in commercial transactions for Nextdoor’s revenue team, global Marketing business partners, and commercial transaction support for other teams as required
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of contracts, including insertion orders with advertising clients and advertising agencies, contracts with partners in the online advertising ecosystem, strategic partnerships, and contracts and terms of service for promotions, influencers, and sponsorships
- Design and build scalable systems, workflows, and self-service resources that reduce legal bottlenecks, standardize contracting, and empower business teams to move faster without sacrificing quality or risk posture
- Identify, evaluate, pilot, and operationalize AI tools and emerging technologies across the contract lifecycle — from intake and triage to drafting, review, redlining, and post-signature management — and measure their impact
- Develop and maintain contract review playbooks, fallback position libraries, templates, clause banks, and negotiation guidance that enable consistent outcomes across the team and business partners
- Support internal clients through the art of deal making and contracting
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to ensure agreements — and the systems that produce them – are consistent with internal policies and processes
- Research and advise on issues related to doing business in foreign jurisdictions, and update contracts, processes, and legal positions accordingly
- Drive the development and maintenance of internal resources, including contract review playbooks and leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to implement best practices and increase team efficiency

What You’ll Bring To The Team
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with at least 1 year of in-house experience in a fast-paced and rapidly growing technology or digital media company and drafting and negotiating contracts supporting digital ads sales
- Demonstrated track record of building legal operations infrastructure in-house — e.g., CLM implementations, intake systems, playbook development, template libraries, self-serve contracting programs, or AI-driven review workflows. You should be able to point to specific systems you've designed and the measurable impact they had
- Hands-on experience deploying AI tools (contract review, drafting, summarization, knowledge retrieval) in a legal context — including the judgment to know where AI adds leverage and where it doesn't
- A builder's mindset: you see inefficiencies as design problems, you prototype and iterate, and you're comfortable owning tools and processes end-to-end rather than handing them off
- J.D. from a nationally recognized law school, admitted to any state bar
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience communicating and explaining complex legal issues to business partners

Your responsibilities will include:
Investor Relations Leadership
- Lead all aspects of Nextdoor’s investor relations strategy and execution
- Shape and articulate a clear, differentiated long-term equity narrative aligned with company strategy
- Prepare and guide senior leadership for earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows, and shareholder engagement
- Develop strong relationships with investors, analysts, and key market stakeholders
- Analyze shareholder composition, investor feedback, peer performance, valuation dynamics, and market sentiment
- Ensure consistency and credibility across earnings materials, investor presentations, and public disclosures
- Partner closely with Legal, Communications and Finance to ensure best-in-class disclosure practices and compliance
Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and CFO on long-term business model optimization and strategic priorities
- Identify and evaluate 3rd party growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments
- Lead high-impact transactions end-to-end, including strategic assessment, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiation
- Partner cross-functionally with key teams to assess the value-creation potential of new initiatives, support integration planning, and ensure accountability for post-transaction value realization
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear investor messaging and measurable KPIs
Capital Allocation & Value Creation
- Partner with the CFO and executive team on capital allocation strategy across growth investments, operating discipline, and balance sheet management
- Provide analytical support on return frameworks and long-term financial targets
- Support Board materials related to strategy, capital allocation, and corporate development
- Help build and mentor talent within the broader Finance organization
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- 12 to 15+ years of experience across Investor Relations, investment banking, equity research, corporate strategy, private equity, or corporate development
- Direct experience leading a senior role in Investor Relations at a publicly traded company
- Strong understanding of consumer internet, digital advertising, marketplace, or platform business models
- Ideally, strong familiarity with SaaS and advertising KPIs and public market valuation frameworks
- Demonstrated experience evaluating corporate development opportunities
- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills
- Executive presence and ability to engage credibly with sophisticated public market investors
- Strong judgment, communication skills, and cross-functional influence

- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify abuse patterns, fraud signals, and harmful behavior trends.

- Define and track core metrics (e.g., harm prevalence, violation rates, detection accuracy).

Develop Models & Rules
- Develop heuristics, statistical models, and machine learning solutions for proactive detection of abuse, fraud, or harmful content

- Improve automated enforcement and moderation workflows.
- Evaluate model performance and iterate on detection strategies.
Evaluate Product / Policy Changes Via Experimentation
- Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests, causal inference) to measure safety feature impact (e.g., login & verification, AI moderation support). Clearly communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Quantify tradeoffs between operational efficiency, safety, and user growth/experience. Guide TnS team on key tradeoffs in decision-making
Own Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Policy, and Legal teams to define safety strategy.
- Influence decision-making through data storytelling and insights.
- Standardize analytical methodologies and tools for scalable decision-making.
What You'll Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of Data Science experience working with large-scale data and statistical analysis, including 1+ year of data science experience in fraud prevention, moderation, or risk.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a track record to lead projects from concept to impact.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python or R).
- Expertise in experimentation and causal inference (A/B testing, cohort analysis, pre/post analysis) to evaluate product or policy changes in production environments.

About the Role
The Product Finance & Strategy team partners with Product, Data Science, Engineering, User Research, and Design to surface key insights and drive strategic decision-making across our product portfolio.
This is an investment and strategy role that will sit on the consumer side of Nextdoor business, covering content creation and distribution, local knowledge, user growth and retention, and the ad supply that funds it all.
The analytical challenge is real - Nextdoor is a hyperlocal multi-sided platform where content, engagement, and monetization all interact, and the dynamics vary by neighborhood. The person in this role will build the frameworks to understand those relationships and use them to shape where Nextdoor invests.
The team is flat, efficient, and an early adopter of AI agentic workflows - we spend our energy on strategy, frameworks, and critical insights, not reporting. You'd thrive here if you think in systems, default to ownership, and lead with the “so what”.
In this role, you will:
- Product investments: Drive decisions on 0→1 product bets, partnership evaluations, and changes to existing products by incorporating user research, conducting opportunity sizing, interpreting results of A/B tests, and evaluating longer-term impacts on Nextdoor product portfolio
- Growth & engagement loop modeling: Map how user behaviors chain into platform outcomes - how content creation and distribution shape daily activity, daily activity drives retention, and retention builds ad inventory. Surface where changes in one part of the loop have outsized effects elsewhere
- Platform & ecosystem analytics: Own ecosystem health measurement - designing new metrics and frameworks and incorporating neighborhood-level context, where aggregate metrics can obscure what's actually happening. Identify risks and opportunities before they surface in the numbers
- Product strategy & competitive intelligence: Develop a point of view on how consumer preferences and the competitive landscape are evolving - and translate that into strategic options for Nextdoor's product roadmap
- Forecasting & planning: Own the quarterly outlook for user growth and neighbor engagement. Participate in the product goal-setting process - defining what good looks like, not just measuring against it
- Investor Relations: Contribute to Board and Earnings narrative on product strategy and platform performance

- Experience: 4-10 years in strategic or analytical roles with technology context (e.g., Product Finance, BizOps, Strategy, Consulting, Venture Capital)

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Traffic team at Nextdoor. This team plays a key role in attracting new users by improving how people first discover and engage with Nextdoor. We work across SEO, content sharing, invites, and other surfaces that drive organic growth and intentional traffic to our platform.
As a manager on the Traffic team, you’ll lead a small, talented group of engineers focused on building and optimizing key growth surfaces - both on Nextdoor and across third-party platforms. You’ll help the team scale technical solutions and work cross-functionally with product, data science, and marketing partners to grow our user base in thoughtful, measurable ways.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the Staff or Tech Lead level who has strong mentorship experience and is looking to take on formal people management, or for an Engineering Manager with up to 3 years of leadership experience who’s excited to go deeper on growth strategy, team building, and user acquisition at scale.

The Impact You’ll Make
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and support a small team of engineers focused on organic traffic growth
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Data Science to build engaging, traffic-driving features - like SEO, content sharing, and user invites - and to measure their impact using insights from data
- Oversee the development of scalable and reliable full stack technologies with a focus on performance that drives millions of interactions each week
- You’ll be involved in all aspects of the product development for a major product area; from strategy, research, prototyping, concept to interaction design, to final QA and code tweaks right before launch
- You’ll own and drive operational metrics of the Traffic team
- Participate in hiring outstanding talent and develop the engineering resources in the organization
- Participate in in-person Nextdoor events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercises
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- 1–3 years of people management experience or Staff/Technical Lead level experience with a strong track record of mentorship and technical leadership
- Proven ability to mentor high-performing engineering teams
- Empathy for user needs and a strong grasp of the business problems we’re solving
- Experience building or integrating experimentation frameworks and using A/B testing to inform product direction and drive measurable impact
- Comfort working across the product development spectrum: strategy, ideation, concept work, up to the delivery of the consumption experience
- Strong technical judgment and a track record of engineering excellence, including operational rigor (monitoring, alerting, incident response, post-mortems, etc.)
Bonus Points:
- Experience working on growth-related features such as SEO, user-generated content, high traffic, acquisition flows, or sharing surfaces
- Experience with Django Python, React, and Next.js hosted on AWS
- Experience with observability using Datadog and/or Sentry
- Experience with Server Side Rendering
Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $200,000 - $250,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

The Impact You’ll Make
As an Analytics Engineer on the Monetization team here at Nextdoor, you’ll work to democratize data and reporting to drive strategy and measure performance against KPIs across the business. In this role, you will work with various Ads product stakeholders, build data pipelines, own and define metrics in collaboration with data scientists, and serve as a trusted resource for all data needs. You'll be responsible for understanding where our data comes from, transforming it, and making it available to stakeholders across the company via queries, tools, and dashboards. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, strong communicator who understands how to make data understandable by everyone.
You should be excited to bring your experience and expertise every day in order to:
- Own reporting tools, pipelines, and dashboards to ensure consistent availability and accuracy of mission-critical data
- Partner with key stakeholders on KPI development and tracking across the Consumer organization
- Build datasets and reports that represent the source of truth for our key metrics
- Keep data sources fresh even while requirements and definitions change. Address data quality issues and build in alerting
- Partner with data science, finance & strategy, marketing, sales, product, and engineering on analytics engineering strategy to enable data-driven decision making across the company
- Set expectations and SLAs on data availability, and own communications around SLA performance to the business
- Drive self-service and data literacy for business users on our data platform by creating and documenting data structures and sets, SQL and data tools training, and dashboard development
- Care deeply about data quality and empowering employees to leverage data to help them succeed in their careers, and help Nextdoor grow and succeed
- Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team-building exercises
- Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor’s company culture
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- 6+ years working in data engineering or analytics
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including writing and optimizing queries in multiple dialects
- Experience working in the ads or monetization space
- Experience with Looker (preferred) or another BI/visualization tool
- Experience working with ETL/ELT pipelines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to understand, tackle, and solve problems from both technical and business perspectives
- Experience in effectively presenting insights and summarizing complex data to diverse audiences through visualizations and other means
- Demonstrated experience working with and delivering to cross-functional stakeholders from multiple parts of the company (Sales, Engineering, Data Science, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience driving projects end-to-end and can speak to outcome and impact
- Eagerness to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how work gets done
