We are looking for an experienced regional marketer to join our growing team! Reporting to the Director, EMEA Marketing, you’ll be responsible for delivering programs that create, influence, and accelerate pipeline for sales-owned enterprise accounts across EMEA.

Your opportunity
New Relic is looking for a Senior Business Value Engineer to join our Value Strategy team, specifically covering the EMEA region. In this role, you will be the primary value architect for our accounts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business outcomes, helping our customers understand the financial and operational impact of the New Relic platform.
You will act as a trusted advisor to both our internal sales teams and our customers' C-suite executives, driving the "Value Realization" process from initial discovery to long-term success.
What you'll do
Build Compelling Business Cases: Create and deliver Business Value Assessments (BVAs) including complex ROI modeling, TCO analysis, and value realization benchmarking.
Strategize with Sales: Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to develop deal strategies that emphasize business justification over feature-set comparisons.
Quantify Technical Impact: Translate technical metrics (like MTTR, Error Rates, and Cloud Cost) into business KPIs (like Revenue at Risk, Subscriber Churn, and Operational Efficiency).
Drive Value Realization: Ensure customers are co-creators in their value roadmap, moving beyond the initial sale to track and report on actual value achieved post-implementation.
Educate & Enable: Mentor and train the broader GTM teams on value-based selling best practices to increase deal win rates and deal size.
Lead Discovery Workshops: Drive high-impact business value discovery sessions with Customers to uncover pain points and map them to New Relic Value Pillars (Business Uptime, Engineering Excellence, and Digital Experience).
This role requires
Experience: Extensive relevant work experience ie Value Engineering, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Strategic Pre-sales, or Strategic Finance (with a focus on Deal Structuring or Sales Operations) or a Master’s degree with relevant professional exposure.
Communication: Exceptional presence with the ability to influence C-level executives and technical stakeholders alike.
Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in creating financial models (ROI, NPV, Payback Period) and building executive-level presentations.
Analytical Depth: Ability to work on complex issues requiring an evaluation of identifiable factors and intangible variables.
Technical Literacy: Ability to understand complex distributed systems and observability concepts (APM, Infrastructure, Log Management).
Bonus points if you have
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Familiarity with the EMEA market landscape and multilingual capabilities (French, German, or Spanish).
Experience with Value Management tools and platforms.

The Global Enablement team at New Relic provides enablement needs analysis, learning programs design, delivery and coaching to drive successful sales and technical performance and reduce time to proficiency for all sales segments.
The GTM Enablement Leader for EMEA is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive enablement strategies, training programs, and tools that empower the EMEA GTM team to achieve their goals. • Collaborate with EMEA GTM Leadership: Work with go-to-market leadership and sales teams to pinpoint Sales Enablement needs and set success metrics, emphasizing operational rigor and value selling.
• Lead Sales New Hire Training: Design and deliver Sales New Hire Training for EMEA to facilitate quick ramp-up to productivity.
• Engage with Senior Leadership: Regularly discuss emerging strategic initiatives with senior leadership and create a training schedule that aligns with EMEA priorities, incorporating regional learning needs.
• Develop Ongoing Enablement Programs: Partner with EMEA Sales, Customer Success, and GTM leadership to design, build, and implement continuous enablement programs for GTM roles.
