NewLimit is recruiting a Head of Manufacturing to lead drug substance and product chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC). We are creating a new class of epigenetic reprogramming medicines for aging that build upon LNP and mRNA technology. Our initial assets are progressing through the complex manufacturing cascade that these modalities entail.
In this role, you will orchestrate manufacturing for some of the first reprogramming medicines to enter human trials. You will serve as the company’s resident expert in manufacturing & controls, and manage a team of talented scientists & engineers to achieve your goals.
As part of the role you will:
- Lead manufacturing campaigns for epigenetic reprogramming medicines spanning DNA, mRNA, and lipid nanoparticle manufacturing
- Own manufacturing timelines and deliverables for the world’s first reprogramming medicines
- Orchestrate contract manufacturing organizations, debug logistical issues, and keep timelines on track

Requirements

Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scientist to join our Delivery Sciences team. In this role, you will focus on building the analytical methods to characterize Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) to enable our nucleic acid delivery technologies and support the drug product development.
Expertise in developing and implementing analytical methods to characterize RNA drug substances and LNP drug products, with experience managing method qualification, validation, and tech-transfer processes.
What you'll do
In your role as a Scientist, you will:
- Design and execute analytical methods to assess the identity, integrity and purity of RNA drug substances and LNP drug products and LNP-conjugates
- Perform deep-dive analysis into mRNA integrity, identity, lipid content and identity analysis to support drug product stability studies
- Work closely with the cross-functional teams to support RNA and LNP analysis for drug development from early discovery to GLP/GMP stages. Position

- Collaborate with Single Cell Technology, Epigenetic Editing, and Predictive Modeling teams to design, build, and evaluate epigenetic reprogramming interventions for aged T cells, including integration and interpretation of complex, multi-modal datasets
- Develop scalable functional assays in T cells and Tregs to predict therapeutic activity and inform lead selection
- Design and lead in vivo and in vitro immunology studies to support target discovery, validation, and preclinical development
- Contribute deep expertise in inflammatory and autoimmune disease biology to experimental design and data-driven program strategy
- Drive research in Treg biology, including differentiation, stability, and suppressive function
- Author or contribute to study reports, internal data packages, and regulatory-supporting documentation
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a collaborative, rigorous scientific culture
- Present data, analyses, and scientific recommendations clearly to internal teams and leadership
Requirements
- Ph.D. in immunology, cell biology, or a related field with 2+ years of industry experience, or BS/MS with 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry
- Experience designing in vivo models of autoimmune or inflammatory disease
- Experience with primary immune cell isolation, ex vivo culture, and Treg functional assay
- Experience authoring IND-supporting study reports
Nice to have
- Experience with pooled in vitro or in vivo screening approaches using bulk or single-cell readouts (e.g., CRISPR fitness screens, Perturb-seq, CROP-seq)
- Experience with rheumatoid arthritis and/or colitis models
- Experience managing or partnering with CROs to support preclinical studies, including alignment on study design, timelines, and data quality
- Familiarity with basic computational tools for data analysis (e.g., Python, R)

Position
NewLimit is seeking an scientist with experience in discovery biology to join our Vascular therapeutic team. Our Vascular program is developing reprogramming medicines to restore youthful function in aged endothelial cells for the treatment of renal, cardiometabolic, and cognitive diseases.
Your role will focus on developing and deploying assays to measure the functional decline that occurs in endothelial cells with age. You will collaborate closely with our technology teams to help create the first reprogramming medicines for the vascular tissue that supports all others.
What you'll do
In your role as a Scientist, you will:
- Develop functional assays and pre-clinical models to measure endothelial cell function
- Collaborate with our Functional Genomics and Predictive Modeling teams to test reprogramming hypotheses at scale
- Measure the impact of mRNA reprogramming medicines on endothelial cell function
- Engineer in vivo nucleic acid delivery methods for endothelial cells
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to drive pre-clinical decision making
Requirements
- Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or a related field or equivalent industry experience (5+ years)
- Experience with primary cell isolation and functional characterization
- Experience working with mouse models (e.g. kidney, cardiovascular, or cognitive disease models)
- Experience with transgenic manipulation of primary cells either ex vivo or in vivo (e.g. using viral vectors, nucleic acid delivery)
Nice to have
- History of contributing to a drug development program at the pre-clinical or clinical development stage
- Experience leading the design and execution of pre-clinical studies in mouse models
- Experience with single cell genomics methods

Position
NewLimit is seeking a Senior Research Associate with experience in liver biology or in vivo physiology to join our Metabolism team. Our Metabolism team is developing reprogramming medicines to restore youthful function in aged hepatocytes in the context of metabolic disease. In this role, you will help develop epigenetic editing tools, functional assays, and model systems to measure the effectiveness of our therapeutic candidates.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with our Single Cell Technology, Epigenetic Editing, and Predictive Modeling teams to design, build, and test epigenetic reprogramming interventions for aged and diseased hepatocytes
- Perform experiments in preclinical animal models of liver disease
- Conduct functional and phenotypic assays to evaluate the effects of reprogramming on hepatocyte biology in vivo
- Deliver epigenetic reprogramming perturbations to hepatocytes in vivo using multiple transgenic manipulation methods (e.g. viral vectors, lipid nanoparticles)
- Isolate murine and human hepatocytes by liver perfusion with downstream FACS analysis
Requirements
- BS in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related natural science and 2+ years of work experience in a cell biology or animal physiology laboratory (academic or industry setting)
- Proficiency in animal handling and husbandry techniques for rodent models (mice or rats)
- Exceptional organizational skills, including detailed experimental record-keeping and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with standard molecular biology techniques, including gel electrophoresis, nucleic acid purification, and PCR
Nice to have
- Experience working with mouse models of aging, disease and liver dysfunction
- Experience with in vivo manipulation of hepatocytes and liver perfusion techniques
- Experience with single-cell genomics or other functional genomics approaches
