What you will be doing
As a Flight Performance Engineer at Neros, you will own the flight dynamics of our UAVs, from hands-on prototyping and structured field testing through data-driven tuning, qualification, and release of flight configurations. You’ll lead root cause analysis using blackbox/DVR/thermal data and work cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, and production teams to eliminate failure modes and improve performance metrics at scale. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role at a rapidly growing startup, ideal for engineers who take pride in producing stable, repeatable, and exceptional flight performance.

What you will be doing
Neros is seeking skilled pilots to fly our FPV's. This position involves a blend of R&D testing, flight operations, and product demonstrations, requiring strong technical expertise and exceptional piloting skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers to refine FPV systems, execute test flights, and may engage with customers about our products.
This position will primarily be designated as the Production Qualifications Test Pilot. This person will be expected to demonstrate precise acrobatic maneuvers, and the craft will be tested in manual acrobatic mode via line of sight. Neros is seeking a talented Firmware Engineer to contribute to the design of new peripheral systems including display systems, handsets and ground control systems. This is a hands-on, cross-functional, highly technical role that will play a critical part in the development of new products. You will be a key part of Neros' Peripherals Team.
The Firmware Engineer will take product requirements and directly participate in the development of hardware and software to implement the design. The Firmware Engineer will have the opportunity to support product development from concept, through rapid prototyping and into full scale production.

Drone racing and FPV heritage is an integral part of our company's DNA. As an FPV Evangelist at Neros, you will enhance the company’s proficiency in FPV. You will be in charge of your dream FPV lab, and will have the resources to build hobby FPV drones at an enterprise scale.

Neros is seeking FPV Technicians to support our R&D and Flight Testing. This position focuses on building, maintenance, and assistance in flight testing prototype FPV systems. You’ll work closely with FPV Specialists and engineers to ensure that all equipment is prepared, tests are thoroughly documented, and act as Visual Observer in flight tests.
The ideal candidate has strong FPV drone background, comfortable building a variety of drone sizes, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for UAV technology.
