We are seeking a Senior Director, Health Systems Partnerships to lead the origination, development, and execution of enterprise partnerships with large health systems for Natera’s CRC and MCED early cancer detection portfolio.
This individual will be responsible for building and managing a robust pipeline, driving complex deal execution, and expanding adoption of early cancer detection solutions through the LDT phase and into FDA approval and commercial scale. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of selling into complex health systems, navigating executive level stakeholders, and converting strategic opportunities into signed partnerships that drive measurable revenue growth.
This role will play a critical part in shaping Natera’s leadership in early cancer detection by securing foundational health system partnerships, accelerating adoption of CRC and MCED, and helping build the commercial engine needed to scale following FDA approval.

Launch & Scale: Lead the field execution for the Zenith™ portfolio, navigating complex sales cycles, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to ensure Natera is the provider of choice for exome and genome testing.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Managed Care to refine our value proposition and remove barriers to patient access.
Operational Excellence: Utilize data-driven insights and CRM (Salesforce) metrics to forecast accurately and continuously improve regional performance.
Experienced Leader: You have a minimum of 5 years in biotech, pharma, or diagnostic sales, with at least 3 years of proven success in a sales leadership role.
Rare Disease Expert: You possess a deep understanding of the rare disease landscape, specifically within medical genetics or pediatric specialty markets. Experience with Children’s Hospitals is a major plus.
Strategic Thinker: You don't just follow a plan; you build one. You excel at navigating the "gray areas" of a dynamic, evolving market.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking experienced clinical sales leaders with five or more years of proven success in diagnostics or specialty laboratory services to join our Rare Disease team. The Rare Disease Specialist (RDS) will be both a frontline sales driver and a strategic business partner, leading market expansion and shaping how we launch and grow our exome and genome testing portfolio across the U.S.
As a Rare Disease Specialist, you will focus on engaging key clinical stakeholders, including developmental pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, genetic counselors, and medical geneticists, to drive awareness and adoption of our exome and genome testing solutions.
This role is designed for high performers who excel at complex clinical sales, thrive in entrepreneurial environments, and want to leave a lasting mark on the rare disease landscape.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own revenue growth and market development by driving direct sales to developmental pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, genetic counselors, and medical geneticists.
Lead new product launches and accelerate the adoption of clinical exome and genome testing solutions.
Build and sustain high-value relationships across Children’s Hospitals, rare disease networks, and clinical decision-makers.
Design and execute territory business plans, with a clear focus on revenue acceleration and market share capture.
Drive proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations to secure new business and formalize partnerships.
Engage executive leadership with pipeline insights, opportunity prioritization, and performance metrics tied to rare disease growth.
Serve as a clinical and technical resource, delivering education and training for providers and staff.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated success selling into Children’s Hospitals and/or rare disease markets.
Track record of winning new business and launching new products in complex clinical environments.
