The Role You’ll Play:

Define and drive the product approach for Professional Services-led opportunities

• Identify where customer needs can be solved through scalable product extensions, configuration, or targeted enhancements.

• Help shape a thoughtful path forward for requests that sit adjacent to—or outside of—the existing roadmap.

Experience You Bring:

6–10 years of product management experience

• Strong experience in B2B SaaS, platform, or operational software environments.
• Proven ability to lead both discovery and execution across complex product areas.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities may evolve quickly.

A track record of solving ambiguous, cross-functional product problems

At Playlist, we are building the "Motivation Engine" for this industry. Our goal is to help businesses seamlessly attract new clients, convert them through high-value trials, and turn them into lifelong advocates. We are looking for a Group Product Manager to lead the charge in evolving our current point solutions - messaging automation, AI chatbots, and sales pipeline tools - into a single, unified, world-class CRM. 

The Role and Responsibilities 

This is a player-coach position designed for a leader who loves the craft of product management as much as the art of people leadership. You will be responsible for both the high-level strategy of our growth ecosystem and the hands-on execution of our next-generation CRM. 

• Team Leadership (Coach): Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of 3 Product Managers. You will hold a high bar, help them think bigger, push their creative boundaries, and navigate complex product challenges to improve our existing automation and sales tools. 

• Product Execution (Player): Directly lead a dedicated squad to envision, build, and launch a unified CRM. You’ll take three separate solutions and weave them into a seamless experience that drives client retention. 

• GTM Collaboration: Partner closely with Go-To-Market teams to package, price, and position the CRM solution for maximum market impact. 

• Cross-Functional Integration: Work with other product and platform teams to ensure the CRM is deeply integrated into the broader Playlist ecosystem, creating a frictionless experience for both business owners and their clients. 

Who You Are 

• An Experienced Builder: 7+ years of experience as a hands-on PM, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products from 0 to 1 and scaling them. 

• A Proven Leader: At least 3 years of experience managing Senior PMs. You know how to grow talent, delegate effectively, and maintain a high bar for excellence. 

• A Growth Expert: Deep understanding of client growth lifecycles and marketing systems. You understand the "leaky bucket" problem and have diverse examples of how you have creatively improved the funnel (or built tools/platforms to enable) within successful Consumer or B2B companies. 

• A Clear Thinker and Collaborator: You can analyze complex situations, generate nuanced strategic plans, and think end-to-end—from customer opportunity to product design and architecture to distribution and revenue. You have excellent written and verbal communication, and operate collaboratively. 
• AI-Forward (Plus): Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI into products to solve real-world user problems.

We're seeking a Senior Product Manager, Platform to serve our internal product development squads and help guide us towards the platform of the future for Playlist.

This role sits at the intersection of developer experience, infrastructure, security, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) operations. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, SRE, security, and application teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and secure platform capabilities that accelerate developer productivity and enable our business objectives.

What You'll Do

Developer Engagement & Advocacy

• Be the voice of our internal developers. Collect pain points, usage patterns, and feedback from engineering teams across Mindbody to develop an informed POV on the biggest opportunities for Platform teams to better serve the organization.
• Evangelize platform capabilities. Help development squads understand what the platform offers, how to best leverage platform products and other tools, and where opportunities exist for partnership and collaboration.
• Roadmap Synthesis: Work with AI tooling and analytics to synthesize this information and integrate it into strategic planning.

Platform Strategy & Execution

• Own the platform roadmap across key themes including reliability & performance, platform modernization, developer experience, and operational excellence.
• Drive initiatives to improve developer experience, CI/CD workflows, infrastructure abstraction, security, and observability.
• Partner with security, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure platform capabilities are scalable, secure, and meet enterprise standards.

Measurement & Impact

• Work with platform squads to define North Star metrics and establish a framework for tracking success metrics that demonstrate business impact.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Enterprise developer tooling experience: Proven track record building "Platform as a Product" either internally at scale or as an external offering.
• Developer-focused product management: Deep experience building tools, services, and APIs consumed by developers. You understand what makes developers productive and can translate technical requirements into product strategy.
• Technical depth: Ability to engage credibly with engineering teams on technical topics including infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, security, platform architecture, and GenAI Coding Tools.
• Hands on experience with one or more of the following areas: Kubernetes ecosystem (EKS, Karpenter, or Kyverno), CI/CD (Github Actions, Azure DevOps), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation), Observability (New Relic, Datadog, or Grafana), GenAI Coding Tools (Copilot, Cursor)
• Cross-functional leadership: Track record of driving complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams, with influence rather than authority.
• Data-driven decision making: Experience defining metrics that matter and using data to prioritize, communicate impact, and drive continuous improvement.

• 90 Days: Deliver a refined platform vision and 2026 roadmap aligned with strategic themes. Launch developer engagement initiatives. Establish baseline metrics for platform health and developer satisfaction.
• 6 Months: Drive measurable improvements in key metrics (deployment time, DevEx scores, platform infrastructure adoption). Increase platform visibility and adoption across engineering. Establish the platform as a trusted partner to development teams.
• 1 Year: Demonstrate clear business impact through improved reliability, faster delivery cycles, and higher developer satisfaction. Position the platform for scale as Mindbody grows. Build a community of platform advocates across the organization.
