Position Summary:
The Program Manager provides both clinical and administrative supervision to a multidisciplinary team within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring effective team operations, delivering high-quality, trauma-informed treatment, and fostering innovation in behavioral health practices. The Program Manager leads team success by supporting staff development, promoting accountability, and coordinating team functions and community initiatives. This position also oversees compliance, documentation, and budgetary responsibilities while maintaining strong partnerships and aligning with organizational goals.
Team Specific Information: Team 227 is an adult outpatient therapy team located at WellPower’s Recovery Center. The multi-disciplinary team is comprised of therapists, therapists who also provide case management, a psych only care coordinator, psychiatric nurses, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatrists and a program manager. The team currently serves 1,020 adults—18-years-old and older. The program manager directly supervises the therapists, the therapists/case managers, and the psych only care coordinator while providing overall leadership to the entire team.
The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.
Job Duties & Functions:
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to multidisciplinary staff, ensuring efficient operations and delivery of high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed care.
Hold staff accountable for achieving service hour expectations, meeting performance metrics, and maintaining timely, accurate documentation and billing.
Support staff development through training, mentoring, reflective supervision, and performance evaluations.
Conduct timely evaluations and ongoing performance conversations, offering coaching, constructive feedback, and disciplinary action when necessary.
Ensure clinical documentation and case management services meet organizational, regulatory, and quality standards.
Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations; revise and implement workflows and procedures to align with best practices.
Coordinate daily operations, staff scheduling, team coverage, and service delivery to meet community and consumer needs.
Partner with leadership to set and monitor short- and long-term goals that align with programmatic and organizational priorities.
Lead innovation in program design and service delivery to strengthen and expand behavioral health offerings.
Monitor program outcomes and implement continuous improvements to enhance service effectiveness and impact.
Foster team accountability, morale, and engagement by identifying areas for growth and celebrating individual and team achievements.
Collaborate with internal departments and community partners to ensure coordinated care and strategic alignment.
Oversee financial planning and budget management, including forecasting, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring alignment with established targets.
Demonstrate operational expertise in Fee-for-Service or similar performance-based models to drive financial sustainability.
Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.

Requirements & Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required
Active Colorado LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist license in good standing required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4 years of experience providing clinical services
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory and management experience
Experience with program development, budget oversight, and grant funding preferred
Expertise in a "Fee for Service" model, ensuring team performance aligns with the financial goals.
Work Location: This is a hybrid opportunity open to folks residing in the Greater Denver Metro area and will require 1-2 days per week on-site and the rest of the week working remotely.
Shift/Hours:This is a Monday-Friday opportunity observing standard business hours.
Physical Requirements: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.

Position Summary:
Behavioral Health Technician I (BHTI) provides direct care and therapeutic support. This role ensures a safe, structured environment for individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. Responsibilities include milieu management across the entire first floor, 1:1 engagement, crisis de-escalation, vitals measurement, medication administration, and safety checks.
Team Specific Information: Team 880 is a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, residential counselors, peer specialists, nurses, medical assistants, psychiatric and primary care nurse practitioners, and administrative staff.
Compensation & Benefits:
$30.12/hr or $62,650/yr
$3/hour Awake Overnight Differential
$1-$2.50/hour Differential for Secondary Language or Spanish/ASL secondary language

Supervise and support individuals in care, maintaining safety and program structure.
Perform safety checks and document observations accurately.
Conduct 1:1 engagement to encourage treatment participation and emotional regulation.
Obtain vital signs at required intervals (including every 2 hours).
Administer medications (QMAP).
Assist with admissions and discharges, including orientation and documentation.
Facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based groups.
Use verbal de-escalation strategies during behavioral health emergencies.
Support daily living needs (meals, cleaning, laundry).
Coordinate care with treatment team members.
Facilitate outside breaks and supervise indoor/outdoor activity spaces.
Document all interactions and interventions in the electronic health record.
Maintain a trauma informed environment of care

Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field).
QMAP, First Aid, and CPR required.
Behavioral Health Technician Certification or Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness; crisis setting experience preferred.
Certain programs may require a valid Class “S” driver’s license, as defined by Colorado state transportation regulations.
Must meet qualifications outlined in 6 CCR 1011-1 Chapter 07, which sets standards for Assisted Living Residences in Colorado, including staffing, resident care, medication administration, and facility operations.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive hand/finger motions, manual dexterity. Requires fine motor skills required for precise clinical procedures. Requires visual and auditory acuity to observe patient behavior and respond to alarms and calls. Requires a capacity to handle emotionally charged situations and maintain professional boundaries. Requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills for diagnosis and treatment planning, and to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and chemicals may occur; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Requires regular use of computers and medical equipment. May involve occasional evening or weekend hours depending on patient needs or clinic schedule. Work environment can be fast-paced and emotionally demanding, requiring adaptability and resilience.
