You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact on a specific piece(s) of business. This role involves deep client vertical knowledge which leads to managing the account, developing and executing innovative Social media plans that address the client’s strategic objectives. Who you are: As the VP, you are responsible for the oversight of digital performance channels and activation teams with a deep knowledge of Paid Search and Paid Social. Position Overview
The Senior Negotiator, Video Partnerships role at Mediabrands is responsible for managing client’s video investments as well as assisting in the creation and execution of media strategies and effectively communicating these strategies to clients. The position requires the ability to think “big picture” and is the first step towards management. · Become knowledgeable about client’s business and its competitors to determine sufficient advertising and media needs and ensure plans are properly executed and delivered
· Assist in upfront negotiations and execute scatter needs
· Begin to allocate budgets to media partners based on research and client goals
· Oversee the evaluation of media plans of National TV linear as well as alternative video including OTT, cinema, online video, VOD
· Enter buys into MBOX to ensure system reflects accurate buys and oversee discrepancy resolutions
· Develop and maintain media partner relationships; Negotiate pricing that reflects efficiencies and clients objectives
· Assist Manager in providing management with market conditions/changes; offer solutions to market problems as early as possible in negotiation process
· Monitor network buys daily based on audience delivery data to insure delivery in flight

Position Overview
The Senior Negotiator, Digital Partnerships is required to develop, recommend, execute and evaluate digital media plans from inception to completion with moderate oversight from the Manager. The Senior Negotiator should be able to work fairly independently once given project parameters, goals and budgets to develop a sound recommendation with clear rationale. The Senior Negotiator will oversee the Negotiator and Associate in terms of daily maintenance to ensure consistent processes are being followed and all client schedules are delivering.
Responsibilities
Client
· Able to take on a more client-facing role with moderate oversight from senior team
· Attend regular client and vendor meetings, statuses and maintain on-going rapport
Internal
· Mentor and assist in the training of Associates and Negotiators
· Work closely with Strategy and Comms Design teams to ensure that overall strategy is woven into all media choices
· Provide partner selection recommendation and justification designed to deliver on client
· Develop the RFPs and oversee the submission process with media partners
· Evaluate partner proposals, negotiate plan details, develop plan and ultimately present plan recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients
· Oversee campaign implementation, optimization, and performance of campaign activities including authorizations, IO’s, budgets, creative, reporting and the billing and reconciliation process
· Manage all partner specific budget allocation, optimization, media partnership programs and added value details
Commercial
· Secure best in class marketplace pricing
· Foster strong relationships with media partners
Required Skills and Experience
· Digital media buying experience
· Knowledge of inventory management system such as MediaOcean Prisma
· Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
· Strong time-management and organizational skills
· Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
· Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Strong written, verbal communication and negotiation skills. Good presentation skills a plus
· Experience analyzing data and market research
Desired Skills and Experience
· 2+ years working within the digital media space preferred
· Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: Atlas DMT, Media Mind
· Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
· Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus
