Position Responsibilities
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Portfolio Management group for a rapidly growing private credit asset manager. This individual’s main focus will be monitoring the performance of 15-20 portfolio companies and assisting deal-teams on assigned investments. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data maintained on an internal platform, the ongoing identification and analysis of portfolio risk trends, completing quarterly portfolio account and valuation updates, liaising with credit rating agencies to establish and maintain credit ratings, and facilitating investor reporting workflows. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with other areas of our business (Underwriting, Capital Markets, Business Development, Investor Relations, Operations) and service providers for specific tasks that arise such as fundraising, preparation of materials for Board of Directors meetings, etc.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified candidates must have a finance or accounting background with strong financial statement analysis skills.
Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Experience with valuation methods (discounted cash flow modeling and debt pricing), credit rating processes and procedures, as well as data aggregation and reporting are a plus.
Experience in private credit or private equity and direct lending strategy a plus.
Collaborative work style across functions with high energy, enthusiasm and drive.
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate views verbally and in writing, fostering confidence when sharing/presenting informa
Proven ability to deliver consistent, reliable and timely execution in a time-sensitive role.
Fluent in Excel and Power
Experience using iLevel a plus
Finance or accounting designation such as CFA or CPA a plus.
Understanding SQL, Power BI and Python a plus.
The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation packages would also include benefits and a discretionary bonus. The Man Varagon team is looking for a highly performing and motivated professional to lead a newly created role within Investment Operations supporting its fund financing strategies.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide direct operational support, oversight, and subject matter expertise to Man Varagon’s fund finance strategy, which includes the use of Middle Market CLOs, ABL, and other structured finance solutions
Oversee daily CLO and leverage facility compliance reporting
Manage key monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables such as, but not limited to, trustee reporting, payment date reporting, borrowing base reporting, etc.
Assist in development of Man Varagon’s operational data strategy while identifying and presenting tangible solutions for inefficient processes
Help oversee loan administrators, trustees, data capture in WSO and IVP, and operational controls. Be able to perform various reconciliations across multiple service providers
Play a key role in shaping and delivering on Operation’s strategic technology footprint
Run deal and vehicle level returns on a monthly/quarterly basis
Coordinate with Investor Relations, Accounting, Compliance, and other groups on DDQs, RFPs, and other ad hoc requests
Qualifications:
3-5 years of CLO or other operational structured finance experience is a priority
Strong Excel skills (Power BI, data visualization a plus)
Knowledge of IVP and WSO a plus
Comfortable working with large sets of data
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment

About Man US Direct Lending
Man US Direct Lending is a private credit manager, specializing in directly-originated, secured senior and unitranche loans to performing, private equity sponsor-backed U.S. middle market companies.
Man US Direct Lending’s middle market direct lending investment objective is to generate current income with a focus on capital preservation. Man US Direct Lending offers a complete financing solutions product suite to middle market businesses with EBITDA generally between $10 million and $75 million. From inception to September 30, 2025, MDL has invested and managed capital (including co-investments) of over $33 billion in performing, senior secured loan investments across more than 355 borrowers.
Man US Direct Lending has built its platform with a senior management team that has extensive experience investing across the capital structure. Man US Direct Lending’s senior management team shares a common investment philosophy built on a framework of assessing companies with disciplined, fundamentals-based credit analysis. As of September 30, 2025, MDL had 78 employees, 45 of whom are dedicated investment professionals, with three primary offices located in New York, New York, Fort Worth, Texas, and Chicago, Illinois. The Firm also has offices in Wellesley, MA and in San Francisco, CA.
Purpose of the Role
Fund Accounting team at Man US Direct Lending is responsible for financial reporting, audit, and tax compliance for its funds and other investment structures.
The Fund Accounting team is seeking to add to its growing team an Associate role that will be focused on financial reporting and audit. The Associate will spend significant time with finance, and operations teams. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership, is proactive, and is able to work on multiple projects at one time, employing a range of skillsets.
The Associate will report to Parmeet Jangi, Vice President.
Specific Responsibilities
Managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual Fund financial statement closing process
Primary review of the Fund quarterly and annual financial statements
Primary review of monthly and quarterly compliance report to the Funds’ lenders
Primary review of Fund tax returns and K-1s
Assisting and coordinating Fund audits
Assisting in the preparation of quarterly income and annual operating budget projections
Managing investor capital calls and distributions process
Management fee and incentive fee calculations
Monitoring daily cash management and other liquidity needs
Managing and supervising third-party administrators and other third-party service providers
Efficient and effective communication with auditors, portfolio management team and investment team
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Ad hoc projects as assigned
Key Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
A minimum of two years of experience within the financial services industry at a public accounting firm or alternative asset manager
Understanding of and interest in private credit a plus
Strong Excel skills
