Lucid Motors is seeking a motivated and experienced Material Planner to join the European Service Parts organization (After-Sales).   This role ensures continuous availability of service parts, components, and materials required to support European operations. The ideal candidate understands end-to-end supply chain processes, can manage multiple suppliers and commodities, and is highly proactive in preventing material shortages while maintaining cost-efficient inventory levels. Material Planner will deploy inventory strategies, be responsible for product change and associated material planning implications, manage and solve exceptions, and drive supplier execution.

This position involves daily management of supply and constraints, status reporting and escalation, supplier engagement and the relentless pursuit of operational excellence and continuous improvement. The role requires global cross-functional engagement within Lucid and across the extended supply chain.

The Role

• Develop short‑, mid‑, and long‑term supply plans to support service demand, new product introductions, and engineering changes.
• Translate demand signals into material requirements and align forecasts, inventory levels, and replenishment strategies.
• Manage planning, ordering, and replenishment of service parts and materials for European service operations.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for suppliers—overseeing order status, delivery confirmations, issue resolution, and escalations.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams (Demand Planning, Logistics, GSM, Engineering, Warehousing, Distribution) to ensure supply continuity and support business objectives.
• Maintain accurate system parameters (safety stock, lead times, min/max levels) to optimize inventory and meet service level targets.
• Monitor material coverage, run‑out risks, and supply constraints; communicate critical updates proactively to leadership and service teams.
• Manage lifecycle and product changes to minimize obsolescence and ensure smooth supply transitions.
• Support new product launch readiness, including supplier ramp‑up/ramp‑down coordination.
• Drive resolution of shortages, overdue orders, and delivery risks; escalate when needed and lead collaborative problem‑solving with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Produce planning reports and maintain real‑time visibility into constraints and execution performance.
• Participate in supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to enhancements of planning tools, systems, and supply chain processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in material planning, supply planning, or a similar operational planning role (aftersales or automotive experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Experience managing suppliers and resolving operational issues.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP platforms; APICS/CPIM is a plus.

We are currently seeking a Supervisor Order Operations to support the European Order Operations team based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Order Operations Team is responsible for the entire order to cash transaction process and is the main contact for all Retail and Corporate Sales teams for support on all order to cash-related matters.

The core responsibility of this role is to oversee the daily operational performance of the Order Operations team, ensuring consistent execution of processes, timely management of inquiries and escalations, and effective coordination across all order to cash activities. The Supervisor’s primary role is to execute together with the team the daily activities within the order-to-cash process. Furthermore, the Supervisor is accountable for identifying operational inefficiencies, driving process improvements, and enabling increased automation to support accurate order placement, tracking, and on time deliveries, while ensuring internal stakeholders receive a reliable and seamless operational experience.

The role also oversees adherence to revenue recognition processes, monitors delivery milestones, and ensures accurate and timely reporting for internal visibility. The role requires strong cross-functional coordination with Sales, Delivery, Logistics, IT, Service, Production Control, Finance, Tax, and Accounting teams to ensure alignment throughout the end-to-end order-to-cash and order-to-delivery lifecycle. Through structured oversight and continuous improvement, the Supervisor ensures a reliable, transparent, and high-quality operational experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

· Supervise the daily activities and performance of the Order Operations Specialists, ensuring adherence to operational standards, timelines and consistent application of processes, policies, and best practices across the team.

· Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues related to orders, VIN matching, pricing, configuration, invoicing, payments, refunds, and delivery readiness, ensuring all matters are addressed with appropriate urgency and accuracy.

· Ensure alignment on order status, delivery timelines, and customer impacting issues while safeguarding the accuracy of the orderbook and supporting revenue recognition processes in collaboration with Finance and Accounting teams.

· Ensure full delivery readiness by verifying vehicle availability, VIN-to-Order matching accuracy, and completion of all required vehicle readiness checks, while proactively resolving any blockers and coordinating closely with Delivery, Service and Logistics to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.

· Develop, monitor, evaluate and own clear and performance driven KPI’s.

· Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date operational reports and dashboards, ensuring clear visibility into order-to-delivery activities for internal stakeholders.

· Identify operational inefficiencies, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and support the development and deployment of scalable, automated, and standardized processes.

· Support with UAT for system changes and updates within the Order Operations E2E process

· Support the development and maintenance of training materials, standard operating procedures, and knowledge sharing resources.

· Provide structured coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support while fostering a disciplined culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Which drives retainment and professional growth.

Qualifications

The Role

• Lead day‑to‑day Aftersales supply chain operations and manage operational team, covering demand/supply planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution.
• Drive performance across key KPIs (OTIF, fulfilment, MoS, claim rate, inventory accuracy, obsolescence rate) and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage 3PL partners and optimize warehouse, transportation, returns, and packaging operations.
• Own planning processes, including forecasting, replenishment, safety stocks, and inventory health analysis. Define and implement associated regional policies for inventory and planning. Ensure system integrity and data quality.
• Improve logistics flows, packaging sustainability, and cost efficiency; lead expansion into new markets and associated distribution strategy.
• Establish scalable processes, enhance ERP/WMS/planning tools, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and develop the regional supply chain operation team; act as the primary escalation point for parts availability.
• Partner with Service, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Global Supply Chain on operational and customer‑experience improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business (preferred).
• 7+ years in supply chain/logistics/spare parts operations; automotive/aftersales experience required.
• Strong background in 3PL management, warehousing, planning, and SAP/WMS/tools.
• Excellent communication skills; strong analytical capability and high attention to detail.
• Ability to lead in fast‑paced environments, with strong ownership and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
