Mission

Raise Lucid Bots’ next round of private capital, get the company into an auditable position, build the financial architecture to scale our Robots-as-a-Service business, and lay the foundation for an eventual public market process.

Who You Are

You have worked inside a manufacturing company at low 8-figures in revenue and helped scale it to 9-figures. You have raised private capital, negotiated venture debt terms, and sat across the table from lenders and leasing partners to structure deals that funded fleet growth or hardware subscriptions. You know what it takes to get a company through its first real audit and you have done it.

You do not make slide decks about what someone else should build. You build it. You own the banking relationships, the capital structure, and the financial narrative. You are not looking for a caretaker role. You are looking to build something.

Outcomes

What success looks like in this role, measured against results, not activities.

Year 1

• Lead and close the next fundraise. Own the financial model, investor materials, data room, due diligence process, and investor communications. Deliver a round that funds the next phase of growth on terms the board supports.
• Scale the financial engine behind Lucid Refresh. We are already deploying robots as a service. The CFO owns what comes next: lead the banking relationships, negotiate venture debt terms, and source financing partnerships with lending and leasing companies to fund fleet growth. Structure recurring revenue contracts so the unit economics work for Lucid Bots and the financing partners.
• Get the company audit-ready. Establish the internal controls, GAAP-compliant processes, and documentation standards required to pass a formal audit. Monthly close within 15 business days. Quarterly board packages delivered on time with numbers leadership and investors trust completely.
• Make gross margin visible and improvable. Deliver clear unit economics across every hardware product line (Sherpa, Lavo, Power Tether). Identify and execute at least one meaningful margin improvement initiative.
• Deploy AI across as many finance workflows as possible. Forecasting, close automation, anomaly detection, reporting. Show what a lean, high-performing finance team looks like with the right tooling.
• Scale the finance function without scaling headcount proportionally. Mature the systems, processes, and operating cadences already in place. ERP (Acumatica) utilization should be a driver of reporting speed and data integrity, not a bottleneck.

Years 2 to 3

• Diversified, stable capital structure with financing vehicles matched to each business line.
• Lucid Refresh operating as a financially mature RaaS business with proven unit economics and established financing partnerships that support fleet growth.
• Financial infrastructure, governance, audit history, and reporting standards that put the company in a credible position to pursue a public market process.
• High-performing Finance team with clear development paths and strong cross-functional trust.
• Multiple years of clean, completed audits. Forecasts consistently within target variance range. Strong internal controls that scale with the business.

• Manufacturing Financial Mastery: Deep expertise in cost accounting, COGS structure, gross margin analysis, and operational finance in a physical-product manufacturing environment. Has lived inside the complexity of hardware margins and knows how to improve them.
• Capital Strategy and Fundraising: Has led or co-led a private fundraising process of meaningful scale, both equity and debt. Has negotiated venture debt facilities and built relationships with lending and leasing partners to finance hardware fleets or subscription models. Knows what it takes to set a private company on a credible path to the public markets.
• AI Fluency: Actively uses AI tooling in their work today. Has a concrete point of view on how AI changes what a lean finance team can accomplish. Not watching from the sidelines.
• Execution at Pace: Comfortable in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment. Does not wait for perfect conditions. Moves quickly, makes good decisions with incomplete information, and follows through.
• Communication and Financial Storytelling: Translates complex financial information into clear, actionable narratives for executives, board members, and investors. Can own the financial narrative externally.

Qualifications

Required

• 12 to 18+ years of progressive finance experience in a high-growth startup or growth-stage manufacturing, hardware, or physical-product environment, including experience scaling a company from low 8-figures to 9-figures in revenue.
• Direct experience with cost accounting, standard costing, and COGS in a manufacturing company.
• Has led or co-led a private fundraising process (equity and/or debt) of meaningful scale.
• Direct experience negotiating venture debt facilities and building financing partnerships with lending or leasing companies.
• ERP experience required. Acumatica strongly preferred.
• Strong command of GAAP, financial modeling, and financial systems architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Strongly Preferred

• Active, demonstrated use of AI tools in financial operations.
• Public market experience, IPO readiness, or S-1 familiarity.
• MBA or CPA.

Goal of This Role

The Sales Manager leads Lucid Bots' SMB Account Executive team and owns the day-to-day performance, development, and operational rigor of the segment. This is a frontline people leader role: the job is to ramp reps quickly, run pipeline rigor, hit team revenue targets, and build AEs into top performers.

You'll carry team-level ownership for quota attainment, pipeline health, deal quality, and forecast accuracy. You'll partner closely with Sales Engineering, RevOps, and Customer Success on deal flow and handoffs. You'll set and protect high standards for HubSpot hygiene, stage discipline, and adherence to the sales process — and you'll spend your time where the leverage is: in 1:1s, on pipeline reviews, and on ride-alongs with reps.

This is a coaching seat, not a dashboard seat. If you light up when a rep clicks into a new behavior, when a stalled deal moves, when a forecast comes in clean — this is your climb.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team of 5–7 SMB Account Executives — own hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and progression
• Own SMB segment revenue goals, pipeline quality standards, and forecast accuracy
• Run weekly 1:1s and pipeline reviews; identify and act on stalled or at-risk deals early
• Deliver accurate weekly forecasts the VP of Sales can run the business on
• Lead structured onboarding for new AE hires; get reps productive within 60–90 days
• Identify skill gaps through call reviews and ride-alongs; deliver targeted, real-time coaching
• Enforce HubSpot hygiene, stage discipline, and adherence to the sales process
• Define team operating cadences — daily standups, pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and team huddles
• Partner with RevOps to optimize reporting, dashboards, and CRM workflows
• Build playbooks, SOPs, and templates that scale the SMB sales motion
• Partner with Sales Engineering on technical qualification and deal support
• Coordinate with Customer Success on clean handoffs and post-sale transitions
• Capture field learnings and feed them into positioning, messaging, and product feedback loops

Skills & Qualifications

• You've spent 5–7+ years in B2B sales with a track record of consistent quota attainment as an IC, plus 2–4+ years managing a quota-carrying sales team — ideally in capital equipment, SaaS, hardware + SaaS, or industrial tech
• You've improved rep performance and hit team revenue targets — you can point to specific reps you developed and specific quarters you carried
• You live in the data — strong HubSpot (or comparable CRM) fluency, comfortable inspecting deals, building dashboards, and holding a clean forecast
• You have a coach's instinct — you diagnose skill vs. will, and you act accordingly
• You're a direct communicator with low ego and high accountability — you give real-time feedback and you can take it
• You're a player-coach, not a manager-by-dashboard — you ride along, jump into deals, and model the behaviors you expect from the team
• You're comfortable at the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage robotics company, and you bring both operational rigor and builder energy

What We Expect You to Achieve in This Role

• Within 60 days, build a clear point of view on each AE and stand up the team operating cadence — daily standups, weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and monthly forecast.
• Deliver weekly forecasts the VP of Sales can run the business on, within agreed tolerance.
• Hit the team's SMB revenue target with a clean, healthy pipeline by the end of your first full quarter as manager.
• Ramp newly hired AEs to productivity within 60–90 days through structured onboarding, call reviews, and ride-alongs.
• Raise the bar on HubSpot hygiene, stage discipline, and adherence to the sales process across the team within 90 days.
• Operate as a trusted cross-functional partner with Sales Engineering, RevOps, and Customer Success.

Goal of This Role

The Director of Marketing owns the strategy, vision, and performance of Lucid Bots' marketing function — across brand, demand generation, events, product marketing, and digital. You'll define how we show up in the market, build the team and systems to execute at scale, and make marketing a measurable driver of pipeline and revenue.

This is a strategic leadership role. You'll set the playbook, build the people, and drive alignment across Sales, Product, and Engineering. You'll also know when to roll up your sleeves — because at our stage, the plan doesn't run itself.

You'll inherit a talented marketing team on day one. Your job is to get to know them, sharpen the operating cadence, and bring on the additional talent needed to match where the company is headed post–Series B. This is a rare chance to both lead an existing team and design the function that scales with us.

We're looking for someone who has scaled B2B marketing for complex hardware + software products, knows how to turn technical differentiation into market-winning positioning, and brings equal strength in digital strategy and high-impact live experiences. If you get energy from building functions, not just running them, this is your climb.

Who You Are

• You've spent 8–12+ years in B2B marketing with increasing strategic and leadership scope — ideally in industrial tech, robotics, or hardware + SaaS
• 4 years of direct people management experience — you've led, coached, and developed marketers, and you're excited to both inherit a team and make the critical hires that take it to the next level
• You've owned marketing strategy tied to real pipeline and revenue outcomes — not just top-of-funnel activity
• You've built and led trade show, industry event, or experiential marketing programs at scale, and you know how to turn a live demo into pipeline
• You're strong in funnel economics, attribution, and budget planning — you make decisions with data
• You partner well with Sales leadership and treat the Sales-Marketing relationship as one team, not two
• You can translate technical differentiation into buyer language — and you know the difference between talking about the product and talking about the problem

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
• Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.

Goal of This Role

The IT & AI Deployment Engineer will keep our team operational and connected day-to-day: devices, access, systems support, and the tooling that helps people do their jobs. Beyond classic IT support, this role also gets hands-on with AI tool rollouts and integrations — helping evaluate, configure, and deploy the tools that make our team faster and smarter.

This isn't a ticket-queue-only IT role. You'll work across every team in the company, build automations that save real time, and be close to the frontier of how AI tooling is actually applied in a business context.

What You'll Do:

• Manage day-to-day IT operations: device provisioning, SaaS access, onboarding/offboarding, and user troubleshooting

Goal of This Role

The Finance Associate will help build and maintain the financial foundation that keeps Lucid Bots accurate, forward-looking, and decision-ready as we scale. This role spans both FP&A and accounting — you'll be in the numbers every day, keeping the books close-ready while also helping translate financial data into the insights that drive real decisions.

It's not a siloed role. You'll see how the business actually works, and your work will matter to the people making calls on where we invest and where we grow. What You'll Do:

• Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, budget-vs-actual variance summaries, and departmental spending trackers
• Support monthly and quarterly forecast refresh cycles — gathering inputs, updating models, flagging variances
• Assist with month-end close activities: reconciliations, accrual support, data compilation
• Build and maintain dashboards, reporting templates, and data pulls from financial systems
• Support general ledger accuracy by reviewing transaction coding and flagging discrepancies
• Help prepare financial materials for leadership and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

Who You Are

• You've built fluency across both analytical finance (FP&A) and transactional finance (accounting) — through coursework, internships, or early-career roles
• You have a foundational understanding of financial statements and basic accounting concepts (debits/credits, reconciliations, accruals)
• You're strong in Excel and comfortable navigating multi-source data sets
• You're organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined about following structured processes
• You communicate clearly — in writing, in a meeting, and in a spreadsheet
• You raise issues early instead of sitting on them, and you take feedback well

• Reliably deliver accurate, on-time recurring financial reports with minimal rework within the first 90 days.

The Role

We’re hiring a Systems Engineer to own system-level alignment across our robotic platforms.

This is classical systems engineering — not IT, not DevOps. You will define how hardware and software come together, ensure every requirement is measurable, and prevent integration failures before they happen.

You are the person who makes sure the entire system works — not just the parts.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure all engineering teams are building to a shared, testable system definition
  Translate product requirements into clear, quantified engineering specifications and maintain system architecture and interface documentation
• Eliminate integration surprises before they occur
  Own hardware/software interface control and evaluate all cross-team changes for system-wide impact before release
• Establish disciplined engineering execution across the product lifecycle
  Define and enforce design gate reviews (PDR, CDR, DVT, PVT) with clear entry/exit criteria
• Guarantee that every requirement is verifiable and validated
  Define acceptance criteria and system-level test procedures; maintain full requirements traceability from definition through verification
• Keep hardware and software development tracks aligned and converging
  Partner closely with hardware and software leads to manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across teams
• Close the gap between simulation and real-world performance
  Quantify system-level discrepancies and drive improvements that ensure field reliability

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8 years of systems engineering experience on shipped electromechanical or robotic products
• Experience owning or maintaining hardware/software interface specifications (ICDs)
• Strong background in requirements definition, decomposition, and validation
• Experience with formal design reviews (PDR/CDR or equivalent)
• Ability to understand mechanical, electrical, and software systems at a working level
• Experience in robotics or complex hardware systems preferred

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Autonomy Engineer to own the autonomy stack for our ground robot platform.

You’ve done this before — taken a robot from simulation to real-world deployment, and seen what breaks along the way. You understand that autonomy isn’t finished when it works once — it’s finished when it works every time.

You’ll be the technical authority on what “production-ready autonomy” means at Lucid Bots.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver autonomy systems that perform reliably in real-world environments
  Own the full autonomy stack — perception, localization, planning, navigation — and ensure consistent performance across deployments
• Enable parallel development through high-quality simulation
  Build and improve simulation environments that allow the team to develop and validate autonomy before hardware is finalized
• Systematically close the sim-to-real gap
  Quantify where simulation diverges from real-world behavior and drive improvements that increase field reliability
• Define what “done” looks like for autonomy
  Establish clear, measurable performance criteria for autonomous operation — not subjective definitions of success
• Build systems that scale beyond the demo
  Architect autonomy software that performs reliably across many customers, environments, and edge cases
• Raise the technical bar of the team
  Mentor engineers, review code and architecture, and guide the team toward production-grade systems
• Ensure hardware and autonomy are designed together
  Partner closely with hardware engineers to build systems optimized for automation from the start

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in robotics or autonomy systems
• Experience shipping at least one autonomous mobile robot to production
• Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2
• Deep expertise in at least two of: perception, SLAM/localization, motion planning, or controls
• Experience with robots operating in outdoor or unstructured environments
• Strong programming skills with production-quality code
