We are actively seeking an undergraduate 2026 LG Summer Intern to join our Home Solution Sales Management Team.

Our LG Sales Account Internship is a 9-week program from June 1st through July 31st .

The internship will be based in the office (Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM) at the LG Electronics Campus (HQ) in Bloomington, MN and pay an hourly rate of $25.00.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program’s end.

The main project for the Sales Account Intern is:

- Hands on exposure to consumer electronics sales, retail execution, and business operation across multiple product categories: TVs, Computing and Home Appliances

- Gain practical experience working within a fast paced retail partnership environment while supporting key business initiatives, analytics, and day to day operational needs

Responsibilities

Conduct weekly competitive analysis across assigned product categories
Support promotional planning and after-action performance reviews
Assist with SKU creation, pricing setup, and submission process
Review and track Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and promotional investments
Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office products
Support Sales and Operational reporting for internal and retail stakeholders
Assist with general office coordination and administrative support
Provide ad hoc analytical and project support as needed

Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University.
Rising Sophomore, Rising Junior in a business, data, or analytics related major is preferred
Advanced skills in quantitative data analysis and be proficient in using Excel for creating charts and infographics
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google, Teams, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI-based drawing tools is required for visualizing ideas
Demonstrates a strong interest in diverse generations and cultures, particularly related to food lifestyles in both the U.S. and Korea
Curiosity and enthusiasm for customer observation, the ability to extract meaningful insights, and strong communication skills are essential qualities
Mindset grounded in design thinking and the ability to approach and solve problems creatively
Strong communication skills, outgoing personality

As a National Account Manager for the Best Buy team, you will be a sales professional responsible for growing LG's market share for specific accounts within the club retailer channel. You will achieve and/or exceed sales quotas by calling on current accounts.

This role is based out of our Bloomington, MN office.

As the National Account Manager, you will:

Implement strategies to expand LG's market share within assigned accounts.
Create initial business plans to plan for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets and review with Dir., Sales.
Participate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with regular and periodic tracking and reporting.
Manage forecast accuracy and align with Product Management.
Manage channel and LG inventory levels for optimization.
Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth.
Manage administrative tasks with support from Inside Sales team.

Qualifications:

GED is Required but Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+5 years of sales experience (or equivalent experience) with a proven track record of results.
Strong relationship builder.
Outstanding communications skills.
Solid business acumen and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance and account P&L.

$79,000—$115,000 USD

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Sales – Home Appliances to lead our Best Buy (BBY) business within LG’s Home Solutions organization. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, executing the go-to-market strategy, and leading a high-performing regional sales team across assigned territories and accounts.

This is a people leadership role with direct ownership of sales strategy, forecasting, customer relationships, and execution within the Best Buy channel.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a regional and vertical sales team, including direct people management responsibilities
Own and exceed annual sales targets across assigned Best Buy accounts and territories
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships at multiple levels within Best Buy
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure flawless execution
Deliver compelling value propositions through presentations, proposals, and negotiations
Analyze category performance, competitive landscape, and customer trends to inform strategy
Manage forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for assigned accounts
Monitor tactical execution, including promotional activity and budget allocation
Identify risks and opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

12+ years in sales with a history of success in growing revenue of related products, accounts, and customers
8+ years of proven success in sales leadership
Proven experience managing national or strategic retail accounts (Best Buy experience strongly preferred)
Strong relationship building skills and excellent communication/presentation skills
Solid business acumen relating to sales, marketing, operations, finance, and account P&L
GED required, Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred
