The Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Manager of eCommerce Business Development & Expansion to own and lead all aspects of sales growth and audience expansion for our restricted access ecommerce website, the LG Partner Store. This role is responsible for identifying new acquisition channels, unlocking untapped customer segments and developing high-impact partnerships that drive sustainable revenue growth. This person will serve as a key driver of our expansion strategy and will work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, operations and merchandising to scale our reach and performance of the LG Partner Store.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the business owner of LG Partner Store collaborating with ecommerce sales, merchandising, marketing and media teams to ensure continuous growth.
• Own the roadmap to grow revenue by expanding into new, eligible audience segments and verticals.
  Identify and prioritize high-value segments; develop outreach, partnership and integration strategies to convert them into active customers.
• Conduct market sizing, segmentation and opportunity analysis to prioritize efforts and allocate resources effectively.
• Develop and present business cases with clear ROI projections and supporting data to justify the launch of new partners, audience segments or the reallocation of resources
• Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships that drive user acquisition and repeat engagement.
• Collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to ensure partnerships meet privacy, procurement and eligibility requirements.
• Proactively identify gaps in eligibility coverage and advocate for new eligibility rule sets or verification methods.
• Develop and manage relationships with key partners, including benefit aggregators, corporate HR teams, government/military organizations and other institutions eligible for access.
• Optimize verification methods and streamline onboarding of new groups by working with internal teams and external partners
• Partner with performance marketing to launch targeted marketing campaigns focused on specific verified audiences, testing and optimizing tactics continuously
• Define and track KPIs to evaluate the success of audience expansion efforts, including qualified user growth, acquisition cost, conversion rate, and contribution to overall revenue.
• Benchmark and monitor competitive partner programs to identify differentiators and inform expansion strategy
• Represent the LG Partner Store in executive level presentations to communicate performance, expansion opportunities, and strategic recommendations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, SCM or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships or audience expansion—ideally in eCommerce, membership-based platforms or closed-channel marketing
• Strong track record of identifying and scaling new customer acquisition opportunities and partnerships
• Exceptional communication, project management and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver compelling strategies and performance updates to executive leadership
• Data-driven decision-maker with proficiency in performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, tableau, Looker or other BI platforms
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and cross-functionally with multiple teams
• To facilitate smoother communication with HQ, being able to speak and write in Korean would allow you to secure even better opportunities.

Role Overview

This position is an Industrial Design-based Product Designer role with a strong emphasis on research, consumer insights, trend analysis, and business context. The role is responsible for translating Voice-of-Customer (VoC), market research, trend studies, and business landscape inputs into clear product design direction and concept outcomes for North America programs.
Design output in this role is expected to be insight-led and strategically grounded. The designer will be responsible not only for creating concepts, but for integrating research, consumer understanding, and market realities into their work. This is not a role focused on surface aesthetics alone, and it is not a UX Product Designer role; the primary discipline is industrial design and physical product development, informed by deep insight work.

Key Responsibilities
Research-Driven Product Design
●    Lead industrial design ideation and concept development grounded in consumer insights, VoC data, trend research, and business inputs.

●    Translate research findings into product design principles, opportunity areas, and concept direction.

●    Ensure design decisions are clearly tied to customer needs, market context, and strategic objectives—not aesthetics alone.

Consumer Insights & VoC Integration

●    Analyze VoC feedback, customer data, and usage patterns to identify unmet needs, experience gaps, and opportunity spaces.

●    Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights that directly inform product concepts and platform decisions.

●    Represent North America consumer behavior and cultural context in early design and planning discussions.

Trend, Market & Business Context
●    Conduct focused trend studies related to product form, experience, interaction, lifestyle, and consumer behavior.

●    Analyze competitive and business landscape factors to ensure design concepts are differentiated and commercially relevant.

●    Use research tools (WGSN, Mintel, Statista, etc.) selectively to support concept justification and strategic alignment.

Product Design Execution & Communication

●    Develop form studies, concept alternatives, and experience-led design proposals informed by insight work.

●    Create product-related visual materials (concept renderings, diagrams, CMF narratives, presentation graphics) that clearly communicate rationale.

●    Present insights, design direction, and concept logic to cross-functional and leadership stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

●    Partner closely with Product Planning, Research, Engineering, and HQ teams to align design direction with business strategy and technical feasibility.

●    Maintain structured documentation of research sources, insights, and design rationale to support continuity and reuse across programs.
