Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Cost Analyst. This role is based in our Franklin, TN manufacturing facility.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

Teaming:

Must be collaborative and work with Plant and Department Managers
Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting as requested from all finance leadership

Plant Strategy:

Calculate daily CPUs and efficiency reports to help drive improvements in key cost and production areas
Develop weekly trending variance analysis, to see performance versus standard
Work with engineering to develop easy-to-read daily plant dashboard, that covers all areas including cost, production, shipping, efficiency, and safety

Forecasting and Budgeting:

Lead yearly AOP and periodic forecast updates for all labor and overhead expenses in the plant
Collaborate with department managers to develop budgets around headcount, supplies, maintenance and more
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and general plant performance reports, with comparative view to AOP and forecasts

Cost Accounting and Reporting:

Lead yearly Standard Cost Roll for all manufactured items in Franklin, TN by updating BOMs and routings with alignment to yearly AOP
Maintain accurate, fully costed BOMs for all WIP and FG inventory throughout the year

Month End:

Prepare monthly JE’s in a timely manner
Analyze month end results with comparative view to AOP and forecasts and explain variances
Prepare account reconciliations for plant related accrual accounts

Inventory:

Maintain accurate perpetual inventory balances for all Tennessee locations, including main plant, warehouse, and any outside warehouse as applicable.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct annual physical inventory for Tennessee facilities.

Develop, improve and implement process and controls for:

All areas above
Regular cycle counts in the manufacturing facility

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications needed in addition to the topics above:

4+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 1 in manufacturing
Must have a proactive and solid follow up approach
Experience documenting process and controls
Strong MS Office skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Consumer Products manufacturing (preferred)
ERP experience- QAD preferred

Lasko Products, a market leader in home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Corporate Cost Analyst to join our Finance team at our West Chester, PA headquarters. This role is ideal for an early-career professional (0–3 years of experience) with a strong accounting foundation and hands-on cost accounting or standard costing experience—particularly in a buy-model environment where products are sourced from external manufacturing partners.

The Corporate Cost Analyst will play a key role in analyzing product costs, validating standard costs, and supporting financial decision-making across the business. This position offers exposure to Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Unit teams, and is a great opportunity for someone eager to expand their expertise while potentially pursuing an MBA or advanced degree.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development, maintenance, and analysis of standard costs for sourced and manufactured products.
Evaluate material, labor, freight, duty, and overhead components to ensure accurate product costing.
Assist in periodic cost roll-ups, cost updates, and BOM/recipe review processes.
Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Operations, and Business Units to understand cost drivers and validate cost changes.
Analyze cost variances and identify trends or root causes affecting product margins.
Support new product development costing, including scenario modeling and cost impact analysis.
Lead inventory oversight and analysis of monthly balances and application of internal controls and reporting surrounding the topic of inventory.
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding cost changes, profitability, and operational efficiencies.
Help refine costing processes, systems, and documentation to enhance accuracy and consistency.

Skills & Attributes

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with high attention to detail.
Solid understanding of cost accounting concepts, including standard costing and inventory valuation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, curious, and comfortable working with large data sets.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with high professionalism and integrity.

Experience & Qualifications

0–3 years of experience in cost accounting, standard costing, or financial analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Finance degree with strong accounting coursework considered.
Experience costing sourced products in a buy-model or imported goods environment strongly preferred.
Manufacturing, consumer products, or supply chain-related experience is a plus.
Pursuit of an MBA or advanced degree is desirable but not required.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools preferred.
