As Larian continues to grow, we are looking for a Talent Sourcer in Kuala Lumpur to join our Recruitment team

Responsibilities

Source and engage candidates for the KL studio and across Larian Studios’ global locations using advanced search techniques, including Boolean, X-ray, and social platform sourcing

Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs across multiple regions

Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to deliver high-quality candidates and provide market talent insights to support hiring decisions

Promote employer branding through social media, community engagement, university partnerships, and early talent initiatives

Coordinate, plan, and attend career fairs, industry events, and campus activities to attract emerging talent

Build and maintain relationships with universities, student communities, and relevant networks to strengthen early talent engagement

Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategies for early talent attraction and engagement

Requirements

4+ years of experience in talent sourcing or full-cycle recruitment

Strong expertise in sourcing techniques (Boolean, X-ray, market mapping)

Experience recruiting for Tech, Creative, or Art roles (gaming industry experience is a plus)

Proven experience using ATS platforms such as Lever, Greenhouse, or similar

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment

Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented mindset

Passion for games and game development is highly desirable

Work on all aspects of Engine Development

Responsibilities

Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of UI/UX standards, patterns, and style guidelines across all internal tools.

Own the long-term UI/UX vision while delivering iterative improvements aligned with production schedules.

Architect and develop core C#/WPF frameworks, controls, and reusable components to ensure consistency and efficiency across the toolset.

Collaborate closely with designers, feature teams, and technical leadership to align tool workflows with user needs and production goals.

Evaluate, refactor, and modernize existing tools to improve usability and performance without disrupting ongoing development.

Provide technical mentorship for engineers contributing to UI-related features, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and best practices.

Requirements

Work on all aspects of the game: gameplay, UI, audio, animation, scripting, engine features;

Deliver features ready for testing and review, no matter how many components of the game it touches;

Work together with almost all content creators to deliver required features;

Write robust, maintainable, auto-testable code in TDD fashion;

Be an active participant in the design and production of the game — technical side of the creative team and first line of feedback! Help scope features and advise on the best ways to implement them;

Work within an international team on a daily basis, spread between multiple studios across the world.

Requirements

Good understanding of C++:

Understanding of C++ concepts (such as types, OOP, Memory management etc.);

Be able to write robust code without infinite loops and memory leaks;

Strong mathematical skills, especially 3d math, vectors, matrices, etc.;

Familiarity with game concepts such as state machines, pathfinding, AI, and others;

Portfolio of personal project(s) developed in C++, including source code not older than 2 years; - does not apply if you have relevant professional gamedev experience
