Position Summary: 

The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a Splunk Software Engineer to support our Maryland Customer in the development and delivery of cross domain solutions. This position offers the opportunity to lead mission-critical programs that enable secure information sharing across multiple domains. The Splunk Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

• Debug existing software and correct defects.

• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.

• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with fourteen (14) years of experience in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

• Five (5) years’ experience object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and Java. 
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a Data Management Specialist (DMS), Level 2 to support our Maryland customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The DMS will be responsible for maintaining and updating repositories of documentation generated by multiple participants in complex, multi-project acquisition programs. Design, maintain, and enhance the taxonomy by which this material is organized. Ensure that this material is readily accessible to PMO members, responding quickly and effectively to requests for information, and making data accessible to end users.

Essential Job Functions:

• Implement and supervise data management procedures for both classified and unclassified program and project information as defined by the Program Data Manager; Utilize available automated data management tools to support data management activities.
• Establish and maintain the Data Management (DM) Plan and DM structure for the program.
• Coordinate deliverable and non-deliverable documentation schedules with the PM; Review DM schedules and budgets with the PM; Report DM status, results, and metrics.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract.
• Serves as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor’s senior management.

Position Summary:

Kenjya-Trusant is seeking a Usability/Human Factors Engineer 2 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction area.

Essential Job Functions:

• The Usability/Human Factors Engineer shall develop and sustain integrated, feature-rich capabilities that promote modernization of visualization and presentation tools.
• Provides application development and support to tools that allow mission analytic users to view existing data or contribute new information in a collaborative environment.
• Focuses on solving user experience challenges on a highly complex application used by a wide range of users.
• Works with developers, managers, and system engineers to keep the product modern and cutting edge.
• Research and documents user workflows, design and create mockups, engage with users, and interact with the development teams using tools such as Axure and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in cognitive and/or experimental psychology, human factors engineering, or and engineering related field (e.g. systems engineering, software engineering, business process engineering). Advanced degree in these fields is desired.
• At least ten (10) years' experience in this or related field and have familiarity with task analysis, user interface design, and usability testing.
• At least five (5) years user-experience design and testing experience.
• Additional qualifications required.
  • Direct, conduct usability testing and work closely with product designers and process engineers developing applications
  • Designing and developing user surveys to obtain user feedback.
  • Use task experience in each of the usability and software engineering cycle phases (analysis, design, implementation, and deployment).
  • To work closely with users (analysts) to research for and document user profiles, analysis tasks, workflows, and user scenarios; in order to create user interface design from specifications provided.
• Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Poly. 

 Individual Capabilities Desired:

• Professional certifications such as Certified Human Factors Engineering Professional, Certified Usability Analyst, or their equivalent are desired

The proposed salary range for this position is: Level 2 - $140,000 - $174,000
