Kalshi is the first regulated financial exchange that allows people to trade on the anticipated outcome of events, from "Will Brexit happen this year?" to "Will a Covid vaccine be discovered this fall?". We have developed a new asset class, event contracts, and are the first CFTC regulated exchange that allows trading on a broad category of events. Our vision is to allow people to capitalize on their opinions and hedge risks that relate to their every day lives.

We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.

What Is Kalshi
Kalshi is the first and only federally regulated exchange where people can trade on any event. Think like the NYSE, but instead of trading stocks, you trade on the events you know and care about. After three years of regulatory struggle, Kalshi's historic regulatory approval from the CFTC has allowed it to launch a new asset class: event contracts. Event contracts, the fastest-growing asset class today, are elegant financial instruments structured as simple yes/no questions about the future.
In 2024, Kalshi Klear was approved as a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) and now manages all clearing activity for its exchange members.
We are looking for passionate and outlier members excited to embark on this voyage toward building the financial system's next inflection point.
We’re looking for a highly organized, execution-minded Marketing Activations & Operations driver to ensure Kalshi’s partnerships and campaigns actually ship — and ship well. You’ll be the connective tissue across marketing, partnerships, growth, creators, agencies, and channels, making sure nothing falls through the cracks and that every campaign gets fully leveraged.
This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, creative, and distribution. You’ll own follow-through, coordination, and reuse — turning great ideas into fully executed, multi-channel campaigns that actually reach scale.
If you love turning chaos into clarity, making sure work gets maximized, and holding teams accountable without being annoying about it, this role is for you.
Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. As a Sports Operations Engineer at Kalshi, you'll be the technical force behind our sports markets infrastructure. You'll build and maintain the automation systems that power thousands of sports markets across all major leagues. This role combines deep sports knowledge with strong engineering skills to create scalable solutions for market listing, monitoring, and settlement. We're scaling rapidly, which means your role will evolve and grow with the company; your initial responsibilities will include:
Automation Development: Design and build Python automation scripts that list, update, and determine sports markets at scale. Create intelligent systems that handle pre-game, in-play, and futures markets across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, NCAA, and international competitions without manual intervention.
Data Pipeline Architecture: Build robust data pipelines that ingest, process, and structure large volumes of sports data from multiple feeds. Design systems that handle real-time game data, player statistics, injury reports, weather updates, and official league sources while maintaining data integrity and low latency.
DAG & Workflow Orchestration: Implement and maintain complex DAGs for orchestrating market operations workflows. Design fault-tolerant systems that handle dependencies between data ingestion, market creation, live updates, and settlement processes across thousands of concurrent sporting events.
Scheduled Job Management: Develop and maintain cron jobs and scheduled tasks that automatically list markets at optimal times, update odds based on market conditions, and settle markets immediately after game completion. Ensure reliable execution during high-volume periods like NFL Sundays.
Internal Tooling Ownership: Own and evolve internal tools used by the Market Operations team. Build intuitive interfaces for market management, settlement verification, and operational monitoring. Gather requirements from operators and continuously improve tooling to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Sports Logic Implementation: Translate complex sports rules and edge cases into code. Build systems that understand overtime rules, tiebreakers, playoff scenarios, and sport-specific nuances. Implement logic for handling postponements, suspensions, protests, and stat corrections across different leagues.
Real-time Processing Systems: Create systems that process live game feeds and trigger appropriate market actions in real-time. Build monitoring and alerting systems that detect anomalies, data discrepancies, or unusual game situations requiring intervention.
Settlement Automation: Develop automated settlement systems that accurately determine market outcomes based on official results. Implement verification layers that cross-reference multiple data sources and flag potential discrepancies for review.
Performance Optimization: Continuously improve system performance to handle increasing market volumes. Optimize database queries, implement caching strategies, and ensure our infrastructure scales smoothly during peak trading periods.
Cross-functional Engineering: Collaborate with Product, Contracts, and broader Engineering teams to integrate sports operations systems with Kalshi's core platform. Design APIs and services that enable seamless market operations.

Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history. Kalshi is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has over 1,900 markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.
Building a new category is hard… like, really hard. But it’s beautiful and deeply fulfilling. Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb.
In the Financial Operations role, you will be an early member of Kalshi's Finance team. We cater to retail customers, market makers and hedge funds, and institutional traders. The Financial Operations team is responsible for ensuring the money flowing in and out of the Exchange, the Clearing Org and its connected systems is all accounted for.
We're scaling, which means your role will evolve and grow with the company; your initial responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
You will play a pivotal role in managing the flow of funds within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Similar Roles:
This role is similar to positions in treasury, financial operations, and financial controllers. Professionals with experience in these areas are encouraged to apply.
Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. We are committed to our vision of building something big… but also useful: a product that brings more truth through the power of markets.
Kalshians are Kalshi’s most important asset: we pick Kalshians carefully, so we trust them fully on day 1.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $160,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd love to hear from you and would welcome you to reach out to further discuss.
Kalshi is committed to creating a culture of inclusion and belonging, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe it is our collective responsibility to uphold these values and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to join us in our mission. All qualified applicants will be treated with respect and receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, uniform service, veteran status, age, or any other protected characteristic per federal, state, or local law. What We're Up To
Kalshi has built the first federally regulated financial exchange that lets people trade on the outcome of real-world events - from elections and inflation to sports and entertainment. In just the past year, over 1 million people have signed up, with more than $3 billion in trades on the platform.
We recently closed our Series C and are now available to trade directly on Robinhood, marking a major step toward bringing event-based markets to the mainstream.
We’re on a mission to let people capitalize on their opinions and hedge risks tied to everyday life - and we’re just getting started. The road ahead is ambitious, uncharted, and transformative. We’re looking for passionate, outlier team members who want to help reshape the future of the financial system.
The Role: Recruiting Sourcer
Find the people building the future of financial markets.
Kalshi is looking for a sharp, proactive Recruiting Sourcer to help fuel our next stage of growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging top-tier talent across engineering, operations, growth, and more. Working closely with the Talent Lead, hiring managers, and the founders, you’ll be at the front lines of our recruiting efforts - building the candidate pipeline that powers our company.
This isn’t a backseat sourcing role. You’ll play a central part in shaping Kalshi’s team, working across all stages of early funnel development - from creative outreach strategies to talent mapping, inbound screening, and coordination. You’ll help craft our narrative, elevate our bar, and ensure that every candidate’s first touchpoint with Kalshi reflects the ambition of what we’re building.

You’ll Thrive If You Are...
Our Culture
We’re a team that moves fast, works hard, and gets things done. Ownership, speed, and scrappiness are key traits here — and we invest heavily in the people who show them. We think of Kalshi as a tight-knit group, bonded by the mission and driven by the excitement of building something truly new.
If you're excited to hunt down outlier talent and build the foundation of one of the most ambitious companies in finance, we’d love to hear from you.

We are building a novel asset class while scaling up a marketplace for people to trade it (the exchange). As with all meaningful inventions, mass adoption requires value prop refining, education, and trust building. Scaling a new asset class requires both creativity (art) and hardcore discipline (science). We are building our growth team, a cross-functional team of artists and scientists to tackle the uncharted territory of scaling events trading.
As one of the first dedicated performance marketers on the team, you'll help shape and structure our paid growth strategy by refinding and iterating our value props and messaging in. We are an incredibly content-rich platform: we have over 500 markets and a market for any trending topic out there (Sam Altman leaving OpenAI, Fed cutting rates, Oscars, Biden Approbal, etc.). We are looking to build a dynamic growth machine that capitalizes on trends and viral markets on a weekly basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
A scientist at heart who is maniacally disciplined and obsessive about experimenting. A big plus if you're also creative and have crazy ideas. You'll thrive in this role if you deeply care about what you produce, you want ownership and freedom (we're low on process and BS politics), know how to be scrappy and finesse your way around the world, and thrive in a (ridiculously) fast-paced environment.
Some other basic requirements:
These are the primary responsibilities of the role; however, there is endless green field at Kalshi: if you're ambitious and bold, it's yours to take.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $200,000 annually plus equity and benefits.

Building a new category is hard… like really hard. But it’s beautiful and deeply fulfilling. Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.
We are looking for an outlier Product Designer to help craft the experience of prediction markets through elegant and simple UX and delightful product interactions. You will own the core customer journeys, including how our users discover, research, trade, manage their positions in, and reference prediction markets. Your role will push you to be close to customers and to bring creative solutions to their needs, including the ones they’re not aware of.
If you love creating moments of delight, you deeply care for our craft, and you are excited to bring prediction markets to the world, this role is for you.
Oh…one more! Make us look pretty sleek :)
Attributes:
Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. We are committed to our vision of building something big… but also useful: a product that brings more truth through the power of markets.
Kalshians are Kalshi’s most important asset: we pick Kalshians carefully, so we trust them fully on day 1.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd still love to hear from you.
As our first product manager, you will be responsible for delivering delightful product experiences and building stuff people love (yes.. it does sound like a founder’s role and that’s not unintentional 🙃).
We are looking for high output, consumer-focused, and growth-oriented thinkers to help solve some of the most complex customer facing challenges ahead of us. Your mandate is simple: discover the most intuitive way to present prediction markets to people and spearhead them into mainstream adoption. You will work with design, engineering, operations, markets, growth, and data to elevate our current product experience, and define and deliver new ideas to life, end-to-end.
Oh…one more! We set out a goal to become one of the fastest shipping companies in the US: set a (really) high standard for speed and quality for our product team.
